gregyboy: Yea....that too....
I keep on correcting people egusi soup is an indigenous food to benin.... The real owner of egusi are the edos(benin) to be precise ,unlike the other soup ,bitter leaf soup, cotton soup which are eating by edo commoners on daily bases, eguisi was a special soup eating on special days like the igue festival ,or during ancestoral prayers ,it is giving to the gods to eat at the ancestral alter alongside one hand of pounded yam.... It is normally cooked with no oil and no ingrident it is still practise religiously in benin till today
So anyone eating eguisi soup is indirectly eating the food of the gods Interesting...thanks But I thought that one you people cook there was called "melon soup"? Is it the same egusi seed? |

winterfell007: Well!! What's done is done. Like you typed earlier, let's wait for the outcome on Saturday. I'm definitely sure Jeremy Corbyn will eat that 'faty bum bum' raw on that day. Fight fit burst self Lol but they can't even cope with the idea of Corbyn either, he's pledging to confiscate everybody's stuff and share it equally which is sending them mad They're just in a no-mans land... I guess they now know how we feel lol |

winterfell007: It won't hurt them badly as much as the farmers in UK. Imagine paying taxes to each individual EU countries your products get into. How terrible can that be? Very bad, but it's a price they are apparently willing to pay. Actually the farmers in the UK were complaining too but their voices weren't really strong enough. The ordinary citizens were willing to sacrifice the farmers, Scotland, northern ireland, everything. they actually say that when they are interviewed. This is more of an English thing And the British politicians assured them that the EU would buckle first and let them do as they like but that was not the reality |

MT: I guess you are wrong. UK is the major financial hub in EU, with strong pounds propping up the Euro. UK has also forged major business relationship with other EU nations overtime, these nations will bear the brunt. Both of the will lose but the degree of loss can only be measured in the future. Both EU and the UK are uncertain about the actual uncertainty that await post Brexit. Plus farmers in eu countries are clamouring for deals because a lot of their produce is exported to the UK |

Jesuspikin8: You don't get. They think they are as special as they used to be in the days of yore.
And always remember they voted to leave because of terrorist attacks aka immigrants.
They never thought beyond their nose There are a lot of poor towns that have not been carried along and are looked down on by the wealthier Londoners and southeasterners They voted out of anger at their poor treatment, also they were manipulated by biased publications and social media...the migrants and the terrorists Though they do really have a problem with immigration and terrorism, there's was a lot of dishonesty and exaggeration This is the same anger that made the US vote trump in |

tiredoflife: They wont sir Even this EU made dem pay more in subsidies They couldn't get best deals with south American farmers The only issue here is the land border with Ireland For bleeps sake it just a border The UK will gain more if they leave the EU That border is extremely important. CyberWolf: higher visa fees, hingest 100% increment and Nigerians i know can pay anything as long as they are guaranteed of leaving this country. I think brexit happened mainly because of free visa immigrants from EU countries flooding the country especially from poor Eastern European countries. Exactly, they will still get it worse from Commonwealth countries |

winterfell007: Obviously as you stated UK will suffer the loss the more. Michel Barney, Cheif EU negotiator really got a good deal on the behalf of the EU and more importantly Ireland. Boris has lot to contend with Parliament for the 'shabby' deal. He indirectly ceded Northern-Ireland to the European union. He's going to have a hard time with parliament this Saturday |
