bukatyne:He didn't reject compliments he just doesn't want to be seen as some type of hero for doing something which to him is "normal". Indeed the mother was the real hero. |
bukatyne:Its what humility does. Nothing wrong about that. |
People don't understand what rape is. The manner in which sexual offences have been normalized juxtaposes this. A public enlightenment is really needed so that people can understand the delicate and intricate nature of right and wrong sex. This is really alarming, haba! |
DEROX:We'll see na. Hehe. |
DEROX:Man U are moving straight into 3rd, above Chelsea and Leicester. BTW, whoever is in 5th is playing the UCL |
Porn is bad, even the so called porn apologists knows this. Its difficult to break away from it when it becomes an addiction. Constantly tell your conscience you are doing the wrong thing even when its difficult to stop. Pray to God for help and most importantly, avoid been alone. |

People can be so insensitive to serious issues. Comments attributing the allegedly missing lady to her boyfriend are so low down and from the heartless of minds. These are perilous times and the safety of every human is something not to be messed around with. You don't want to be in the shoes of a man who's loved one has not been seen in the last 24hours or in the situation of the missing person who may be going through something very inhuman. You wouldn't hold such negative assumption against someone you love or take it likely if a loved one was missing and people made such comments. We know how stories of missing persons sometimes end up in this country. Whether she has lived some kind of life is still not enough not to prioritize her safety. We should all pray for her safe return and not scorn her. |
The plane suffered a glass break because she suffered heartbreak. |
Please if you are not married stop causing confusion with irrelevant comments. Some of us want to marry and want to learn from other married people's experiences. |
Biglittlelois:We are reading people's testimony here, people that are married. Are you married? Tell us your experience. |
jidamsel43:How were you able to marry? How do you pay rent? |
This is tragic. |
Na person wife be this o. Money is really an excuse for stupid behaviour. If poor man do this one na... |

Davido shouldn't post that in the first place. It's definitely a shade on Burna boy. If he had included Burna and made them 3, we'll all agree to some extent. The debate has always been between him and Wizkid. Tactically drawing Wizkid (and his fans) to his camp is just a way of getting at Burna Boy and carrying the day which is exactly what is happening. To be honest if I was to rate the 3 on the basis of talent alone, Burna is indeed Africa's giant, Wizkid (am a superfan) comes second, then Davido. And in another rating, many other Artists may come before Davido and a few before Wizkid, and a very few or maybe none before Burna Boy. Davido is hardworking I agree with that, but making people blow is not the yardstick for success or judging a good musician. |
MelaninSkinGirl:I didn't say 50/50 financial contribution. Marry with a mindset to not rely 100% on your husband and see how those impediments will be taken care of. A good husband should not be insensitive to the plight of her wife and so he must be willing to support the wife even where she doesn't work. Even where she works, there are laws in place that accord privileges to married, pregnant or women that just put to bed. A valid excuse for a woman not working should be because she cannot find a job and not because it is the husband's duty to work while she does the cooking, do the house chores and take care of the kids. Even at that, she should not shut her eyes to been self employed by learning a trade. It is for the best of the family. |
MelaninSkinGirl:I wish you could carry out this survey in the Nigerian setup. The reverse is almost the case especially for married men who live with unsupportive wives. We don't even need to carry out any scientific study, the outcomes are visibly clear, begin with your locality. True marriage has great advantages, but your studies should include married men in broken homes their conditions are far worse than unmarried men. In the American society majority of the wives are working class. You cant compare the employment ratio of wives in the USA to Nigeria or employment generally. The truth of the matter is our young girls nowadays are predisposed to marrying men that will make their life convenient and not men they are willing to support. |
MelaninSkinGirl:Both parties are equal beneficiaries but a loser is that man that marries a woman who is not working or simply put a woman that cannot support the man financially according to the writer. "Long life", figure 8 and beauty are not a thing compared to lasting happiness a good marriage can bring. Those elements are very negligible to the overall value and purpose of life. So your studies (if at all true) are of little importance and do not apply. A man shouldn't assume 100% responsibility, and a woman should not feel entitled is the Crux of the matter. |
He's a bully. When you stand up to a bully they are forever humbled. That's exactly what you need to do. If you succeed he may bully others but not you. Don't just let him push you around anymore. By standing up to him I don't mean you should tell him waaaka and run or throw something at him and run away, really stand up to him face to face, eye to eye like a UFC combat. If he throws a punch, block it, if he throws another block and push him hard to the ground. If he comes sprawling back at you, you can pull an Edge smack down move on him. You mustn't necessarily hit him, you conduct will atleast invoke fear of been defeated. Bullies are usually afraid of defeat. If anybody ask you say na me tell you. You narrate this story like all those nerds in American movies that are always bullied. How old are you sef? Biscuit, remote seems very petty reasons to hit someone. |
Nice move Trump, but it looks like a canny way of aiming a dig at China, in an if-China-could-we-can-do-better manner. Trump's devotedness to the American cause would see him make available a spare ventilator for each American citizen before shipping out to other countries. last sentence exaggerated |

This is another blow on our judiciary. It really hurts that the delay in criminal trials the ACJA sought to cure has effectively been brought to life by the Supreme Court, which means all cases in similar circumstances will suffer same fate, the case in question is still not been an exception. The implication of the Supreme Court's judgment is that, even if it takes another 12years to try Orji Kalu and the trial Judge becomes elevated, the case will begin afresh, except the Constitution is amended in that regard. |
