Spot on

Waiting gives better clarity and better valuation, for initial public offering, valuation metrics available to the investing public are limited, therefore waiting for better clarity makes sense.
Theoretically, you may be right. But it still depends on the particular stock, the sector, business model of the company, the free float, listing/offer price etc.
It could be a mistake to wait for 3-6 months after IPO to buy a stock like Dangote Refinery which enjoys a huge monopoly in a very critical sector like oil and gas downstream with significant exports. Alhaji also promised to pay dividends in dollars, just like Seplat.

Recall MTN and Airtel? Their price doubled in less than six months after listing.

NGX should insist they meet the exchange float requirement. Simple!
The float requirement must have been met, that is why the stocks were allowed to list on NGX.

Welcome back
You have been too quiet and very scarce of late.
Hope all is well.
Which stocks are you picking or looking at aside Providus / Unity Bank ?

About 7 of your stock picks that I tracked in 2025 have all delivered more than100% gain.
Even the ''nonsense stock'' is on its way to deliver 400% gain grin grin

Just like ASO Savings Plc was, Deap Cap and Union Dicon Plc are presently also under the Delisting Watch List of NGX and SEC.
Lol. grin grin
The NGX and SEC do not delist companies by themselves unless the shareholders and management of the company decide to delist or the regulatory authority withdraws the operating licence of the company.

But companies in regulated sectors e.g. banks. insurance co. etc. can have their operating licenses withdrawn by the CBN/NDIC, their operations stalled and consequently delisted on NGX.

But if you still do not agree, you may continue enjoying the fantasies of your opinion.

Now that ASO Savings Plc has been delisted from the Stock Market, we only hope that those presently buying Deap Capital Plc and Union Dicon Plc, will learn some lessons, before it is too late...
Aso Savings licence was suspended or withdrawn because it is a financial institution (micro-finance bank) that allegedly violated CBN and NDIC regulations.
Deapcap and Union Dicon are not in the same category as Aso savings, and they cannot be delisted just because they are making losses for now, unless the shareholders and management decide otherwise.

Sacrilege!

What a time!
Kingship, kingship and throne has no been reduced to political and age position, it's no longer about the throne...

This absolutely makes no sense!

This can never happen in Osun State, where ọọni is the permanent chairman. Why is that?
Even before the creation of Osun State, Alaafin was above ọọni...
It was even Alaafin that made olubadan who used to just be a chief to Alaafin a king, he created that Kingdom.

Give respect and honour to whom it is due.
The Ooni cannot be compared with any other Oba in Yoruba land, including the Alaafin. So don't bring that argument of Osyn State
The Soun of Ogbomosho is a co-equal of Alaafin. The Alaafin is not superior to the Soun

I thought you said he's the only one that understands the tax laws na .

Doesn't that explain why he has to do most of the talking?

Do you honestly believe the NRS chairman understands all that's written in those laws?
😁😁😁

That's why NRS is waiting for Mr Taiwo to develop implementation guidelines for him na.
Lol grin grin
I think the issue is he wants to impress the govt and defend the reforms at all costs. He only started softening pedal after the NGX nearly collapsed in November after all complaints felt on deaf ears. The Finance minster is still the owner of the reforms, so he should be the one leading the discussions. Taiwo is not even included in the Implementation Committee that the minister formed to oversee the process

I knew him to be a gentle, easy going guy but he should be diplomatic in his remarks and careful how he defends the govt.
After completing the job (reform proposals) as a consultant, he should allow the Finance minister and NRS chairman to do most of the talking, but he is still the loudest amongst them.

I think they are in effect suspending the law but using the pretext of lack of implementation guidelines.
But I doubt if they would admit to suspend the laws yet.
There is this arrogance of power and desperation to extort money by hook or crook from the masses to fund their phantom govt policies and projects.

What are the implications of this? I thought Oyedele said that even the President can't suspend implemention of the law.
Maybe the govt has realized they need to fix some things before they go ahead. The controversies seem much.

“The new tax laws exempt someone who sells up to 150 million Naira a year. Why are people selling 1 million Naira in panic? The danger of misinformation. That fake news, because it’s fake, it’s not supported by data, led to real losses for people, including some people whose pensions are with PFAs, lost money,” he said.

The above comment by Taiwo Oyedele shows he does not understand how the market works. He does not know that it is the big spenders (buyers/sellers) that provide the liquidity that anchors price movement, gains, ''value'', confidence etc. in the market, which then attracts smaller investments by other investors.
Without the big time institutional and international investors, the market would tank and there would be little or nothing to attract the N1m investors.
He is busy pursuing and pushing policy decisions that would affect the market but does not understand how the market reacts or relates to these decisions.

The above statement by Taiwo Oyedele clearly shows that he is totally clueless about how the market works.
It is the big spenders (buyers/sellers) that provide liquidity, ''value'' and ''gains'' in the market. Without the big movers, the other investors would not be able to sustain the market and there would be little or nothing to attract other investors.
For instance, if all the big institutional or international investors should sell off and move out of the market, share prices would drop sharply and people with N1m investments would see their share price drop significantly, leading to loss in the market value of their shares. The marke would tank!

He is making policy decisions that affect the stock market but does not understand how the market reacts or relates to these policies..

So to you, the french government and "the Jews" are the same thing? 😓

In case you don't know by now, let me help you: Judaism is a religion, not an ethnicity. The french government gave nuclear technology to Israel, and the french government is secular, not Jewish.
Jesus was called the King of Jews. Was he practising Judaism?
Jews are the descendants of ancient Hebrews and Israelites.
Not every person that practices Judaism is a Jew and some Jews are Christians

You love falsehood so much. If someone claimed that the tax law was forged. Why has it been difficult for him to show Nigerians the forged copy since he is a member of the committee on tax. He that makes a claim must present evidence.....
Have you been following the news or you are ignorant?
The National Assembly has confirmed that the certified true copy of version of the tax law that they approved and passed as bill is different from what the FG has gazetted, and the FG has not denied it. So what the FG has now is the ''forged'' version.
Forgery means unauthorized alteration or amendment of details in a document
So what is your point?

Na France born full that Comoros national team. They will soon become a football powerhouse by the time more skilled players who couldn't make the french NT start to turn up.

Percentage of foreign born Nigerian players would have increased if the likes of Roost Ekong, Ola Aina, Maduka Okoye and Cyril Dressers had played year's tournament.

Big accolades to the likes of Egypt, Zambia and South Africa and for keeping it 100% home born and bred. That shows how low the japa mentality is in those countries

Nice one by the Tinubu government. Next is the decentralization of most of the military institution massively concentrated in Kaduna especially the army.
Stop giving undue credit to someone who may be clueless about some development.
This Army depot was probably approved and contract for the construction awarded long before Tinubu became president. All the processes, approval and construction, posting/recruitment of personnel etc. could not have been done in the last 2 and half years.

Good analysis, though a bit ambitious with the assumption/expectation since it is Wale we are talking of.
To add, Oando has about the fourth lowest P/E ratio on the NGX, higher only than Access, ETI and UBA. What a stock!
Oando is in a peculiar situation though
