The fact that the Romans conquered the Jews and drove most of them to exile did not mean there were no single Jew living on the land. There were Jews but in the minority because many Arabs came from neighboring cities and countries to occupy their land.
If you say in the Bible, the Jews took the land from people living there, let those people come back for their land if they are alive and have the means. But the Jews are alive and back to the land they occupied before the Arabs (Palestinians) came. It is first come, first serve!

US is concerned about the Strait of Hormuz simply because its closure will make oil price to go up, which US is trying to avoid.
