In my own opinion, the people lured into buying the shares hoping for GOLD have dumped and are still dumping. Maybe until the discovery of another metal.
It will still rise when there is announcement of commencement of gold refining/mining operations
OsunOriginal: Iran didn't start the war. It was USA and Israel that attacked Iran (now twice) in the middle of negotiation thinking with their combined power they could pound Iran into submission. They were wrong and Iran has demonstrated not only resilience but also fire power that would make the USA think twice before foolishly joining any future attack on Iran. Iran suffered extensive destruction but so also the US and Israel. Most of the USA bases in the region were destroyed. many of their radars, Thaad systems, etc were destroyed. This is not to mention the air assets (AWAC, refueling aircrafts, etc) that were also destroyed. I have never seen US beg for ceasefire like this. The once untouchable is not now having his noise blooded by Iran. And you need to visit Israel to see the level of destruction there. Why is nobody jubilating in Israel after the ceasefire?
RaptorX: This Isrealis are sneaky and deceptive, they announced the ceasefire saying Lebanon was included leading Hezbollah fighters to relax and expose their positions and boom 100 locations struck in 10 minutes, this was a devastating blow to Hezbollah and Iran should not relax with this fake ceasefire.
Can you show where Israel announced that Lebanon was included in the ceasefire,? Israel dies not make such silly, very stupidannouncements because it enboldens the terrorists Hezbollah. Israel does not need to deceive anybody before the bomb Hezbollah that atta ked them first in support of Iran. Hezbollah must answer for their foolish action!
ogawisdom: You people just like to throw God and devil into every conversation. Tell me how Dangote can ever be poor or broke again in this life even if he lives for 2000 years or my Boss Warren Buffett
Let's be careful. I don't want to say anything.
I pray that people like Dangote, BUA, etc who are employing thousands of people continue to do well and grow bigger
ogawisdom: Though this one may be from proceeds of corruption.
But as an investor, when will you be able to make this kind of statement based on your passive cash flow.
That will be the real soft life not really meaningless luxury possessions when you are still not financially independent.
He does not know what he is talking about! Just bluffing!
May God never allow us to be tempted and tormented by the devil! There is no amount of money or wealth that is a guarantee against poverty without God's grace and mercy as protection!
Delat521: That's their way especially that Satanyahu. And he likes bombing defenseless people.
I would love Israel - Iran one on one and see if they can real fight. Imagine if those ballistic missiles Iran is sending to other target is solely rain on them, na ceasefire they go ask for sharp sharp.
Iran must be mad! They cannot sponsor terrorists Hezbollah to attack Israel, and then be the one to determine how and when Israel can respond! Madness.! Netamyahu will surely hammer Hezbollah. Israel is not fighting the people of Lebanon, but Hezbollah terrorists
May be Iran can fight Israel one-on-one. when they are able to raise their generals from the grave! Iran knew that most of the ballistics missiles would be intercepted by Israel that is why they chose to send to other nations
Idiots! Israel is bombarding Hezbollah terrorists and not the people of Lebanon. Iran will collect more knockks if they misbehave. You cannot sponsor terrorist to attack Israel and be the one to dictate how and when Israel can respond! Idiots!
Which kind Canaanite DNA? Canaanite ko, Jebusite ni!
The Palestinians are nothing but Arabs from Saudi, Egypt, Jordan, etc who refused to recognize and live in peace with Israel. Other Arabs that recognized Israel's right are today living in Israel as citizens of Israel with full rights and privileges
Hundreds of people have been killed and wounded in Israel’s strikes on Lebanon today, Lebanon’s health minister said, according to the country’s National News Agency.
Health minister Rakan Nassereddine said there are “hundreds dead and wounded” following Wednesday’s attacks, NNA reported.
The attacks included some of the most extensive Israeli strikes in the heart of Beirut in decades. Airstrikes targeted at least three areas in municipal Beirut, including a strike that hit close to the central seaside promenade, according to CNN’s analysis of video.
Municipal Beirut, which is predominantly Sunni and Christian, is infrequently targeted by Israel.
Another video showed a half-destroyed building in west Beirut with thick plumes of black smoke billowing into the sky. Ambulances have been sounding out sirens nearly nonstop since the attacks began, according to CNN reporters on the ground.
Which ceasefire are you talking about? Iran should just shut up and mind its own business. Hezbollah has ''priced market'' and must collect a take home package.
a. Israel claims that the land is theirs because Israelites once lived there. b. The problem is that, for some reason, they migrated, and Palestinians expanded across the region. Keep in mind that Palestinians also lived there while Israelites were present. c. With support from Western allies, they took those lands by force. d. This logic is challenged when you consider that even the Bible indicates those cities existed before the Israelites captured them. e. Palestinians and parts of Lebanon, whose lands and people were affected, formed groups such as Hezbollah and Hamas as guerrilla forces to try to compel Israel to relinquish captured lands. f. Iran supports these groups, as they need resources to fight. g. Israel is also said to have a broader vision, sometimes referred to as “Greater Israel,” aimed at expanding influence in the Middle East. h. As a result, the conflict continues.
You claimed in your earlier post that the land of Israel was renamed ''Syria-Palestina''. And now, you want to use the new name ''Palestina'' to drag with the original name ''Israel''?
Hezbollah, Hamas, Ayatollah have faith-based belief system that mandates them to fight and destroy Israel, and never to recognize Israel's existence as a State. The existence of Israel is a taboo to them! Please read it up to understand. Al-Jazeera would turn you to an intellectually dishonest person in this matter because they start everything from 1948 and always out of context. Jews were always on their land even after the Romans conquered them, but they were too few and too weak to fight, so they managed whatever they could get when they were short-changed by the Arabs. Their sojourn in Europe has turned out to be some blessing in disguise, because that is what gave them the knowledge, skills, experience, focus and determination to be able to survive the onslaught of the Arabs and win them in brutal wars.
Oasisblue: You guys just amuse me. You think if we excavate Onitsha back 3,000 years, you think its people that look and talk like the current occupants that used to live there? How do you think Onitsha people will feel if some people arrived claiming their ancestors once lived in Onitsha millenials back and hence they have the right to the land?
For a place where everything in their history is well documented? Where there are generations of people as witnesses on both sides? Their landmarks, their language, their religion etc. Once these are proven, there would be no problem, unless one side wants to tell lies or steal.
Similar thing happens in Africa too. We all have family land in our villages. Some of these land came through our ancestors thousands of years ago, and we still claim them today, even if new developments have cropped up in the area. Omo onile in Lagos is typical example
ositadima1: So, you agree that they were not the first people in those cities? If so, your argument of ownership falls to pieces. Study and find out for yourself; if you can’t, ask me respectfully.
You see how empty your arguments are? The contest for the land is between Israel and some Arabs (now called Palestinians). On land matters, he who gets to the land first or earlier, seeks and achieves predominance over the land. So between the Israelis and Palestinians, it is clear the ancestors of Israel got to the land long before the Palestinians! That is the truth you are struggling to acknowledge. Such a shame, a fine intellectual choosing to be intellectually dishonest
ositadima1: The Ayatollah never made any charter or official statements toward Israel as a president. Hezbollah and Hamas are there to free their people and land.
Please go and read, research and stop making ignorant comments on what you don't understand.
ositadima1: Israel did not found those cities; they existed before Jews and Israelites came into the picture. Please read your Bible carefully. So, by your reasoning, it belongs to the people who were there before the Israelites.
The people who were there before the Israelites can mention their names and come forward to retrieve their land. You can also help us to call their name so that we can search for them and tell them to go back to their land. Simple. Please do.
ositadima1: I have answered you: Hezbollah and Hamas exist because Israel created the conditions for them when it encroached. These two groups did not exist before, so they can say anything because they are at war. Trump said his own as well.
So shallow argument. You are comparing two groups who have permanent Charter that say something that is officially written in the highest policy document of the organizations since their formation in 1985-1988 (signed and sealed), with the verbal, personal statements of a president who is in office for only 4 years.
Israel owned them, before they were driven to exile by the Romans. If any group of people owned them before the Israelites were driven out by the Romans, let them mention their names and come forward.
ositadima1: Again, I am asking you one more time: has any country in the Middle East had such a charter, yes or no? Please stop these circular arguments.
My reference was to the Charter of Hamas, Hezbollah and Ayatollah regime, which you said did not exist. If you now accept and acknowledge that truly these Charter exists for Hamas, Hezbollah and the Ayatollah regime, then we can talk about any Charter by ''Countries''.
ositadima1: I did not invent the word “occupied West Bank”, that is what it is called. Please take the time to read, or you’ll end up sounding uneducated.
I have explained the alibi behind the name ''West Bank''. Go back and read it if you want to learn. I know you would be happy indeed if someone decides to call Onitsha by a new name of ''East Bank''(of river Niger) and decides to remove all the history, antecedents, archaeology, artefacts, landmarks, records and trace of Igbo people's culture from that place so that another tribe can take it and appropriate it as theirs. You ask yourself if there are no local, traditional name for the town and places there in different from the new English name of ''East Bank''
ositadima1: I answered you the first time, you’re the one who dragged it out. I told you that in war, people can say anything, just like Trump. Then you started talking about a formal charter by fighting groups. If you want to discuss formal positions, then you have to talk about countries. Is Hamas a country? So who recognizes the charter of a group that is at war?
Is Hamas not fighting Israel? Is Hezbollah not fighting Israel? Is Iran not funding these groups to fight Israel? If Hamas and Hezbollah should win elections to rule in their locations, won't their govts be fighting to destroy Israel?
The Ayatollah regime had made the declaration to destroy Israel since 1979. You can deny this too if you want.
ositadima1: No country has had any such charters, I can tell you that for free. Those are fighters; as I told you before, people who are fighting can say anything, just look at a recent example from Trump himself.
I mentioned the Charter of Hamas, Hezbollah and the Ayattollah regimes, and you said such charter does not exist! Now, you are mischieviously introducing the word ''countries''. Who mentioned ''countries'' here? Is Hamas, Hezbollah and the Ayatollah fundamentalist regimes ''countries''? These are organizations that have found their ways in or close to power and they are the ones fighting Israel and their Charter says Israel must be destroyed
Sunrisepebble: That would be a generational buying opportunity. I’m not a bank analyst, so forgive my rough math. Assuming Zenith have exited their forbearance as at FY25, the way GT had in FY24. If they have GT’s level of impairment in FY26 and assuming earnings are flat and payout ratio is also flat. You’re looking at an EPS of N39 and a DPS of N15+
ositadima1: When at war, anybody can say anything. Did you not read Trump’s message about bombing and destroying the entire civilization of Iran? Does that mean the U.S. wants to remove Iran from the face of the earth?
My friend, I am NOT talking about SATEMENTS made during war!
I am talking about the Charter, the standing foundational Policy Document that underscores the Goals, Mission, Objectives and Strategy of an organization! It is shameful that you are arguing about what you know absolutely NOTHING about! Just do a simple research and educate yourself on this. Hamas, Hezbollah and Iran would even deny you if you claim their aim is not to destroy Israel. Shameful!
ositadima1: No, they don’t want Israel destroyed, there is no clear indication of that. Hamas and Hezbollah are fighting for their people and land, which Israel continues to occupy. They cannot engage in full-scale war because Palestine lacks strong backing, so they resort to guerrilla tactics.
Hamas and Hezbollah are not Iranian; Iran supports them with weapons. It’s similar to helping a younger sibling who is in a fight, nothing unusual about that.
All this talk of destroying Israel is largely a result of ongoing exchanges. There is nothing inherently special about Israel. If Nigeria were in that position and had taken land in the same way, they would still have fought Nigeria. There is nothing uniquely special about Jews, my friend.
This is your ignorance talking this time, not mischief! Go and read the Charter (ultimate Policy document) of Hamas and Hezbollah. It is clearly written in black and white that they seek the total annihilation and destruction of Israel. But here you are defending what you don't even know. And yet, you are the person that is always quick to pontificate and tell people to go read, think, learn, do research etc
ositadima1: No, they were not living on the land, those lands were predominantly Palestinian. We’ve discussed this before: Israelites were dispersed a long time ago, and other people settled there, so the land does not necessarily belong to Israel or to Jews.
Similarly, even in the Bible, before the Jews took that land by force, other people were living there. So technically, there is no direct link. You have to respect those who were there when you return or fight.
Another issue is that you repeat things without asking why. Why was Israel attacked? Can your neighbors attack you for no reason? Your idea that U.S. support for Israel is equivalent to China supporting Iran doesn’t fully hold. If Iran and Palestine had received support from China and Russia in 1948, perhaps we would be looking at a very different Middle East today.
It would be very bad for you to transit from mischiefs to outright lies and falsehoods! There has NEVER been a period in history that Jews were not living in the land of Israel! NEVER!
The fact that the Romans conquered the Jews and drove most of them to exile did not mean there were no single Jew living on the land. There were Jews but in the minority because many Arabs came from neighboring cities and countries to occupy their land. If you say in the Bible, the Jews took the land from people living there, let those people come back for their land if they are alive and have the means. But the Jews are alive and back to the land they occupied before the Arabs (Palestinians) came. It is first come, first serve!
Seems you believe there can be justification for the attack on Jews! The attack on Jews is also rooted in the ideology and belief system of the enemies. Ask yourself why virtually all of the enemies of Israel that attack it are from a particular belief system. Why is the Iranian leader calling himself a supreme, spiritual leader and he is higher than the president, judiciary, legislature all combined?
