PoliticsRe: How Is Your State Governor Doing? by Miketomi: 10:20pm On Dec 04, 2007
Delta State

I am not from Delta State but I live there, precisely in Warri.
Uduaghan is not doing badly at all. He looks like he will perform wonderfully well.
With his street lighting project, Funding of Dessopadec, he has also being able to calm the militants of Delta state.
Hostage taking is gradually being phased out in Delta State. His ability to reconcile with most of his opponents especially the Delta Elder Forums.
These are some obvious parameters that show the guy is a great guy.
Make we still dey watch sha.

Kogi State:
My darling state grin
Folks, we no get governor o.
Nothing to write home about especially in my own senatorial district (kogi west).

PoliticsRe: MEND Threatens To Blow Up The 3rd Mainland Bridge by Miketomi: 9:55am On Oct 21, 2007
@Salvage
Thanks for your lovely post.
MEND is definitely sick.
The Threat of blowing Third Mainland Bridge is an empty one.
However if they mistakenly try that, in years to come they will keep regretting that singular action.
MEND are nothing but sophisticated criminals who are just cashing on the deplorable state of NigerDelta.
So there is nothing to worry about.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Stip Aptitude Test Result Of August Is Out! by Miketomi: 3:38pm On Oct 14, 2007
Wishing you you folks that already had the interview the very best.
Relay your experience and let guys learn from it.
As you all known only very big companies can afford assessment centres (Shell Recruitment Day).
Waiting for more responses from SITP hopefuls who already had the interviews.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa: Shower Hour? by Miketomi: 10:18am On Oct 06, 2007
Octupus:
Quite a lot of hypocrisy here and saint playing.

The issue is simple. If you feel offended, please don't watch it.SIMPLE.

Don't come to this site to play the saint please. Many people sit down to digest and assimilate the Big brother stuff and tolerate ALL the "dirty show",then come here to talk holy.Of course they have to see it all to be able to comment on how explicit it is.Right? If you find it so offensive, switch off immediately so u wont see enough to comment. Please excuse me everybody.Lets discuss something else.
There are many people who by virtue of their conscience will never go to buy or rent an X-rated movie, but because of their level of faith will not mind watching BBA, all we are saying is, BBA is promoting nudity and infact it is a modern ZOO sort of.
It is not a nice programme.
We all have to condem it.
Stop being proud of your low sense of morality. For the fact that pple watch BBA does not mean it is a nice show. No one is playing saint here. Even if there are, methinks it is a kind of do as I say and not as I do, which is far better than outright encouragement of evil. huh
According to Awolowo, evil prevails in the society when men of good sense of judgment keep silent in the face of an obvious evil.
We shall not keep silent.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Shell Stip Aptitude Test Result Of August Is Out! by Miketomi: 2:02pm On Oct 03, 2007

The Lord is indeed your strength.

Thats for u to protect your kids and it is imminent for the programmes director to reduce the risk that may come off forgeting to turn it on
Well said.
May I ask, does NBC have control over what is shown in Nigeria by DSTV?
As far as am concerned the concept of the whole programe is neither educating nor edifying.
Although many said it is entertaining, I wonder what is entertaining in the programme.
Anyway, entertainment may be  relative but I repeat Morality is not relative.
TV/MoviesRe: Big Brother Africa: Shower Hour? by Miketomi: 12:24pm On Sep 30, 2007
mendax:
morality is a relative term!
Bullshit, what is not good is not good.
Morality is not relative.
Why no one may claim to be a saint here, Th BBA stuff is nothing but rubbish only spiced up with nudity for the depraved minds.
The housemates discussion are not educative at all, infact am sorry to say those folks in there are not intelligent individuals as rightly confirmed by one of the evicted housemates (Max i guess).
My only joy is that, there are quite alot of nairalanders who are against it.
BBA should be stopped with immediate effect.

Jobs/VacanciesRe: SITP (Shell Intensive Training Programme) Is Out by Miketomi: 12:04pm On Jul 14, 2007
Hi guys, it is like most of us don't have up-to-date info on Shell SITP.
Before now, collinz assertion is right, in the sense that u r not sure of being employed but there is no any form of pay off to all trainees.
However, for the past two years, if you scale through SITP hurdle you are a Shell staff automatically.
Wishing you guys the very best.
Have they started inviting candidates??
Note: the automatic employment is for SITP 1 i.e B.Sc/B.Eng holder. it is not applicable to SITP 2.
PoliticsRe: MEND, NDVF, And The Rest Of Them Are Mere Criminals by Miketomi: 9:22am On Jul 07, 2007
Kidnapping pple and demanding for ransom is nothing but a criminal act.
My major fear is that pple that u think should know better, I mean the so called educated NigerDeltans are so consumed with emotions and sentiments that they all refuse to think straight rather they chunk out reasons to justify those criminal acts.

I guess in the dictionary of the MEND and their likes there is nothing like " charity begins at home".
Their leaders who have collected billions of naira from 13% derivation are not even accountable to them.
Instead of them to fight the real pple they are fighting innocent pple doing legal business in their land.
Shame on them for this perverted way of thinking and acting.

History is repeating itself once again.
What we have at the moment is similar to the formation and evolution of cultism in Nigeria universities.
When Wole Soyinka and co formed pirate confraternity in UI in those days they never knew it will lead to several other cults. Today the evil of cultism is very obvious.
Nigerdeltans, we need to think.
These guys are just out there denting our name.

RomanceRe: Caught My Husband With His Mistress In Our Room by Miketomi: 1:00pm On May 24, 2007
I guess most of the folks telling you to call it a quit are not married.
I plead with you with the name of whatever you believe in to return to your matrimonial home.
There is no perfect man anywhere, I am sorry to say most ladies telling you to leave have at one point or the other dated married men. If you are not careful but heed to their advice they will surely take over your matrimonial home.
However to your man, I guess he went too far by bringing her mistress to your matrimonial home/bed.
Mr man, pls call your wife and apologize to her.
Madam, pls forgive him most especially for the sake of your/would be children.
May God grant you the heart to truly forgive and forget.
RomanceRe: My Girlfriend Says Our Relationship Will Soon Be Over by Miketomi: 12:44pm On May 24, 2007
Truly there is no problem that is not common to all men. Some of us are in the same shoe with you.
However life goes on. I always believe all things work together for good for those that love the Lord.
Hi Bro, remember Paul in one of his epistles, do not worry over the past. Life for sure continues with or without the girl.
Personally, I advise you to call her and get her reasons for quitting for the purpose of learning points if at all she has any.
You know most ladies are always myopic in their decisions.
My brother, no beg her if u no wan make I fight you. angry

Eeyore, I guess you are taking this stuff too personal, why I may sense some pessimism in kuwena's post, your verbal attack on him is not necessary.
Instead you are suppose to analyze the whole stuff because we are in a country where some fraudsters could actually use your desperation for NLNG to dupe you.
I wish everyone the very best.
We will get there.
EducationRe: JAMB/UME Marking Scheme by Miketomi: 11:55am On May 01, 2007
Infact, there is negative marking in JAMB.
How can you explain odd score like 55, 57, 59 etc in Chemistry, Physics and others with 50 questions that carried equal mark (2Mks each).
Shaded wrong answers is more than (-/2/Mks) magnitudewise while correctly shaded option ensures you 2Mks.
I strongly advise if you don't know the answer leave it unshaded provided there are no too many of such.
Wishing you the very best.

Christianity EtcRe: I'm A Christian And I Smoke Herbs by Miketomi: 10:35am On Mar 29, 2007
The big questions:
Will you be proud to see your church pastor, members seeing you smoking weed?
When you smoke the weed, do you do it in the hiding?
Can you do same at the public place?
If a youung brethren in faith sees you smoking, will he be encouraged by your act?
Will your smoking of weed not be a stumbling block to other brethren?
Aside being a crime, it is a sin.
May the spirit of the Lord deliver you from this bondage.

CrimeRe: Soldiers Beating Up Okada Riders Captured Live On Camera by Miketomi: 11:15am On Mar 27, 2007
Just seeing the picture, I guess it must be in warri. The label actually confirms that.
Generally in Nigerdelta here, lawlessness is the order of the day. From the agberos (street urchins), to the Militants, even the citizens are something else.
Just get down to Warri, and you will understand better. The posted video is a common scenario in Warri.
Something just have to be done to correct this abysmal.
@tellmemore, thanks for exposing this ignoble act to whole world. I salut eyour courage.
