Donian007: YOUR POOR BLOCKADE WAS RENDERED USELESS AND INEFFECTIVE BY AGAUGUST AND YOU RETREATED. COWARD!A single submarine can stop all movement of ships,if deployed against an enemy. |
agaugust: yes bros, as cowardly as south african armyAs cowardly as an army that sends thousands of troops to fight a small number of insurgents,Even backed by fighter jets. A army that's takes out its frustrations on civilians by slaughtering them. |
sambos994: What happened then?Because UNITA was going to be wiped out,by the advancing Angolan,Cuba etc forces. SA sent the Falcon(Colonel Deon Ferreira) to stop the advance, once the advance was stopped. He needed inflict massive casualties on the retreating forces. Which he did,do you remember the Battle at the Lomba river? |
agaugust: we are talking north african german war, you are mixing it up with soviet army in berlin europeIn North Africa the allied forces were commanded by General Montgomery not General Patton. While the Germans were under the command of General field Marshal Erwin Rommel(Desert fox). I DARED YOU to "white-wash" in military history. |
sambos994: Wasn't it all part of a battle that ended in a stalemate?No. |
andrewza: Did you see the force the cowards FOMAC had.Allowing Seleka to capture Damara, without putting any fight. What a bunch of cowards! |
agaugust: sorry dummy, america did NOT use german general rommels tactics of africa corps tank battles in iraq, america uses general pattons tactics that defeated and wiped out general rommel in north africa world war II. please dont venture into war history, i am gonna white-wash you."When men talk about Rommel they talk about Rommel, but when men talk Montgomery they talk about Monty".General Montgomery commanded the allied forces in north Africa, not General Patton(the man with the white piston on his whist". He commanded the invading allied tanks, but the Soviets reached Berlin before him. General field Marshal Erwin Rommel (The Desert Fox),was even saluted by PM Winston Churchill,a soldier or warrior who was respected by his enemies. Stop with "immature military comments",oh I dare you to "white-wash" me!!!!! Visit the Bookstore please. |
NaijaPikinGidi: Practice what you preach ... otherwise we know that your long range blabbing could not help you with Seleka. If you follow military operations. You will know that, the "protection unit" never reached its full strength of 400. Did you see what kind of equipment France sent to Mali? |
agaugust: I know war history 100 times more than you do. its my daily food. Germany launched a land originated attack, air/land to land attack on poland and other coutries of europe. dont drag international war history with me. stick to what you know.I can't not believe this. Blitzkrieg the lighting war comprised of fast moving mechanised units or paratroopers backed with planes(for air superiority). YOU KNOW NOTHING!!!!! |
sambos994: But did you win the bush war?Go read about operation hooper/modular and Parker. |
agaugust: Blitzkrieg is an old fashioned war of year 1939 you dummy !Don't make me laugh young boy. It is not an old fashioned war tactic,it was proven when America used it during the Gulf war, they even went as far as using Field Marshal Erwin Rommel's tank battle tactics against Iraq Republican Guard's armour. South Africa even trained 11 000 men to execute a "mini blitzkrieg" during the bush war. I'm feeling sorry for you!!!! |
agaugust: source please. It is not an "aircraft carrier" but an "Amphibious assault ship" capable of carrying vehicles and helicopters. |
agaugust: yes, on south african homeland soil invasion....your sweet soweto girlsIs this you acknowledging that South Africa has the best looking women on the continent? |
agaugust: yes. to be purchased in year 2050 for south african navy.Sorry but the R100 billion is for the SANDF's "shopping list" for the next 5 to 15 years. |
agaugust: please define or explain 'highly mobile army/force' in detailGo to your nearest bookstore and find any book detailing the "20th century's last greatest tank battle" or about the "Blitzkrieg". |
agaugust:Should I post new Milkor products?. Any way you promised us(South Africans) a REAL WAR simulation,I will post mine after your. You already know,LADIES FIRST!!! GET IT? |
Donian007: You must be drunk, attack SA? What reason and what gains, you are very deluded, It was all about Mali, Mali, Mali, and now attack SA, what is so special about your stinking country? Anyways I have better things to do, you can go kiss a transformer, whatever it takes to malign MOTHERLAND NIGERIA bring it on, my tactics is "smile at them and scroll down" because there's always no sense in them.Where have you been?. Read first, then comment later. Cause if you were reading, you would have seen I was replying to a post by one of your fellow country man,who said Nigeria can invade. READ FIRST!!!!! GET IT? |
saengine: Based on the SANDF Defence Review, it looks as if South Africa is going to spend up to R100billion on arms. Everything from new main battle tanks, surface to air missiles for the army and new support vessels for the Navy. The new Badger IFV programme costing R8billion has pretty much been signed with production set to start in a few months.Did you hear about funds being made available for project millennium?. The acquisition of a french Amphibious assault ship "helicopter carrier". |
Donian007: There you shoot yourself, its evident you're some juvenile, you realy don't analyse your own posts. Nigeria does not owe you any explaination for opting to fly to Mali rather than drive. Like you partialy answered your own query, SA deployed her G guns by road because they outweigh your airlifts capabilties. I have been watching your arguement about our mission-statement in Mali and it cracked me up, I saw IGNORANCE it. Just visit Beegeagle's Blog www.beegeagle. and learn how to cure your IGNORANCE.That blog was almost likely to be called "my cause of death". It is filled with funny looking Nigerian made vehicles. And again you didn't get my point, which was that "Nigeria army is not a highly mobile force, than can invade SA from Nambia&Angola". It wasn't the G6 system that driven into Namibia, motorised infantry drove their casspirs and other vehicles too. |
agaugust: .Please Include what happens during the months running up to the war. |
agaugust: your pretoria army is weak like jelly fish, no solution yet. now you say you have special police, please let those ones go and pursue the millions of R.apists all over south africa...they dont qualify for seleka battlesWe always went to combat with less men. If you're going to say we are weak, judging by our numbers. Young boy, you're making the same deadly mistake the British made against the Boers,The very same one USSR and Cuba made. |
agaugust: okay sir, i have made only 2,000 posts on this thread in the 6 months i joined, try go through them all, it wont take you more than 5 minutes to read everything. you dumbo !You have no military knowledge whatsoever. Stop being an embarrassment to your people. |
CraigB: Zuma embracing his roots.BAYETE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
agaugust: sir, you have several qualities as a person, but intelligence is not one of them.Let me see you "flexing your military knowledge" boy. You know nothing, insul.ts cover your nake.d stupi.dity with an outfit of shame. |
agaugust: from your above post, i can see that you will make a good police officer strategist for invading a den of armed robbersDid you know the South African Police service(SAPS)'s special task force. Are also trained to take part in covert military operations?. Now please wonder why I'm saying this!!! |
agaugust: your south african half b.rain equates brazil to rwanda. rwanda has no single jet fighter and they want to command nigerian air force squadron of jets and helicopter gunships"Immature military comment". First the Rwandan General won't be commanding your "equipment" like jets, He will give an command to your battalion commander(likely a colonel). Whom will command your boys in the field. Do you remember Iraq's "highway of death"?,General Norman(nicknamed storming norman) gave the order to his field commanders not to allow a single Iraq soldier to leave kuwait city. Then it was for the Air force commanders whom, followed his order and sent Apaches helos,A-10 thunder bolts,F-15s and Cobras etc to bombard the Iraqi forces. What I'm saying is Generals give orders, while the Majors and Colonels lead or command the men in the front lines. Read books about war reports please!!!!! |
chris365: i almost thought you would mention SANDF with their designer weapons.Stop with your "immature military comments". In CAR,Bozize's army abandoned their posts around the city(on our flanks). Giving Seleka a way to cut behind our soldier and ambushed them. On the Nigeria occupying SA joke, here's the thing If Nigeria was about to attack SA and occupy us. Massive air lift of armour would be flown to (Namibia or Angola),which would take time since Nigeria has around 6 C-130 cargo planes. Then the attack will be slow, cause of the semi desert terrain between SA and Namibia. Meaning your tanks will move slow, while being prayed on by fast "moving hard hitting wheeled armoured vehicles" SANDF vehicles like the Rooikat,Ratel 90 and Ratel ATV(Ingwe version). Besides your troops would be terrified, knowing there's a fast moving Artillery system that is able to engage targets 67km or 75 km away with less support. Lastly on the weapons SA designs, look South Africa designs(on the vehicle sector) fast moving systems which require less support while being easy to fix in the field. Even the Rooivalks only needs a crew to rearm(with Rockets,Mokopa missile and Ketron's ammunition) it in the field, cause it can refuel from drums using gravity. While the Mi HI-35 will needs an airfield to refuel, rearm and take off. |
chris365: and you think the world relied on you when you announced you were going to DRC? your boys were scared to even engage rebels while brave DRC stood and fought. The UN Brigade will be operational around next month. Troops from Malawi are facing logistical problems, delaying their deployment. But our parabats were accidentally engaged by the MAI MAI rebels. The SANDF denied fighting along side FARDC,which carries and dumps dead bodies of M23 rebels in residential areas. FARDC troops drink beers and smoke dagga, during their deployment in the eastern Congo. |
chris365: my friend will you shut up about the zulus already. this is the age of modern combat where your military is very incompetent at. zulu warriors in 2013? what is wrong with snot africans na.Modern weapons or combat?.While Nigeria is still buying planes like that F7,which looks like an upgraded version of the MIG 15 fighter. Modern combat is about long range killing, this is the reason why we have ICBMs which replaced putting thousands of bombers in your enemy's air space. Modern combat is about killing the enemy before he can get close enough to return fire, great example would be the Israelis who heavily trained their tank crews to hit targets in far way distances. Or you want me to compile a list of your obsolete weapons again? |
CraigB: The original (and partially diluted) form of dress that Naai-gerians are ashamed of.If it once happened that the Zulu met this little boys in combat. We wouldn't be dealing with some ignorant people today. |
sambos994: What ever happened to your reinforcements? The reinforcements were sent to Uganda, comprising of parabats,Medics and special forces. Four Gripen were flown to Zambia, while Rooivalks were stationed in DRC. They were withdrawn after, our pull out in CAR. |
sambos994: We pulled out because we don't want to fight under a Rwandan general. How troops did Rwanda send? If the UN appointed a Nigerian we would of stayed, but what they did was a smack in the face and we won't stand for that. Either way the AFISMA mission was done anyway. That is in no way failing the mission. SA on the other hand failed. You guys went to CAR and what happened? The Seleka rebels took over Bangui and the rest of the country, you guys retreated, and Bozize is gone....You're full of your selves. Countries with strong armed forces like India, are fighting or under the command of a Brazilian General in DRC. Nigerian commanders won't be chosen cause they allow or tell their troops to kill suspicious innocent civilians, like you're doing now in northern Nigeria. |
