5 Ways to propose to your man
With some guys, if you wait for them to propose, you'll be waiting until the cows come home. There's nothing wrong with a girl letting a guy know that she's ready to make a commitment. Onewed.com shares great ideas on how to propose to your man.

1. Use his hobbies: Showing an interest in what your guy likes, whether it's car repair or computer programming, is a great way of letting a guy know that he is loved and accepted for who he is.
2. Show team spirit: The stereotype of the resentful football widow is so powerful that many women are combining their proposals with tickets to their guy’s favorite team. This helps the guys know that just because you are taking the lead here; it does not mean you're planning on taking over his life.
3. Food! What man can resist food? A favorite meal gives him a taste of what life with you will be like.
4. Pets and kids: Many of the stories we hear are from women who already share pets or kids with their beloved. Involving your children (two-legged or otherwise) is a great way to help remind your guy about what's really important.
5. First dates: Romance isn't just for girls! Let your guy know you remember how it all started, and use those feelings of love and excitement to start your new life together.
Keep it simple ultimately; you have to tell him how you feel. Why add pressure by trying to come up with a cute situation? Out with it! Put it on the line and see what happens. Good Luck!

Imagine this scenario.

You and your girlfriend for six months suddenly decide to attend service together for the first time. The service is so enjoyable and praise and worship session is off the hook. After that comes the message then time to pray. As the prayer goes on, you suddenly hear some shrieking and screaming beside you. The voice is unmistakable but you don't want to believe your ears. You keep your eyes firmly shut as instructed by the man of God.

As the pastor intensifies prayers, the screaming and shouting continues and suddenly some violent movements erupt right beside you and at this point, you can no longer hold your eyes together again. You turn your head to your side and see your girlfriend rolling on the floor and muttering stuffs out about witchcraft and this and that and so on and so forth. You are obviously in a state of shock as they carry her away for deliverance session.

After the service she comes to you sobbing saying she is sorry but that she is now totally delivered and that she loves you endlessly and cannot live without you.

IF YOU WERE THE ONE WOULD YOU CONTINUE WITH THE RELATIONSHIP?

davidylan (m) I dont listen to them, i go read them up. they dont inspire me to be honest.

We had a rock guy lead worship on sunday and i was totally lost, all i could hear was loud clanging guitars and plenty of screaming. you dont need to scream to worship the Lord.

@David, who are you to determine how one worships God or what is acceptable to him? Be careful on how you criticize what is good or not so that you don't end up like David's wife in the bible who criticized David on how he was 'making a fool of himself' while dancing. Him and Him alone is the Judge of all actions and intentions. So watch it.

yes every society has a culture, but societies r made up of people, people die and people r born, meaning every society is in a constant state of regeneration, maybe 1000 years ago kissing wasnt in the african culture, bt today 2010, kissing is part of the african culture at least amongst the youth, in a nut shell culture is subject to change and is constantly evolving, its a bit like asking if wearing clothes is part of the african culture, knowing fully well that at some point africans used to go around unclothed at least b4 they evolved into homo sapiens, of cos if u dont bliv in the theory of evolution then maybe the last part of this statment might not make a lot of sense to ya

@ OP, how does dis sound? ''Hey sexy how r u doin? Just wanna have sex with you, are you down?"

Basic Truth - Most women love lies and determining which one would go for intimacy or not is harder work than just playing along. so guys follow dis simple rule "if u wanna get her laid, tell her what she wants to hear and play along"

eldee:
I'll go with Ginuwine . . . he's smooth and fluid.
The best thing about him is that he makes it seem effortless . . . and he doesn't just go there to copy all MJ's moves.
He's also sleek with the whole thing, he doesn't look like a backup dancer, if you get what I mean.

I saw Usher doing the chair thing . . . nah. It's not about ipa ati agbara.

Omarion is pretty smooth too . . .

Chris Brown is probably the most creative of the lot.
He's young, athletic and extremely creative. . . that makes him amazing on stage.
God bless you o!! ELDEE - GINUWINE odikwa very very sumptilicious on the dance floor. I guess most of those talking are all new school but go back in time and see moves from ginuwine. the only person better than him would probably b MJ.

I think Chris breezy is off d hook too. very athletic.

omarion - too much hand moves and i'm not too down with that. dance is more about the whole body movement and using d dance floor well.

Usher--- all i can say is hmmmmmmmmmm. but i would still rate ginuwine above him.

SportsRe: I Am One Of The Best Strikers In Nigeria - Yakubu by milkan05(m): 11:24am On Jan 15, 2010
FBS:
Yakubu hits back at critics

Everton striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni has lashed out at critics who have questioned his place in the Nigeria team at the Africa Cup of Nations.

Yakubu rounded on his critics after Nigeria‘s 3-1 opening defeat to Egypt, insisting that the entire team did not play well in Tuesday‘s Group C opener in Benguela.

The striker failed in every aspect of the game with no shot at goal throughout the duration of the match, prompting followers of the game to wonder why the coach allowed him to complete the match. He was so heavy and unable to run or win balls for the team.

”I have always given my best to Nigeria, I am one of the best strikers in the country and my record is there for all to see,” AFP quoted Yakubu, who was sidelined for most of last year with an achilles tendon injury, as saying on Thursday.

”But when you have four, five defensive midfielders in the team who can‘t get the ball over to the strikers, what can you do? We do not have a (Austin) ‘Jay Jay‘ Okocha or a Sunday Oliseh.

”We have been struggling in most of our games because we do not have a creative midfielder, which is not the case, for instance, at my club, where there are players who can create openings for the strikers.

“It has been really very difficult for us and even the best strikers in the world would struggle in such a team.”

There have been suggestions that he is higher in the striking pecking order as a result of his closeness to coach Shaibu Amodu.

”We all want to play coach and so everyone wants to pick the team,” he countered.

”But it is there for everybody to see that I have also enjoyed a good run with the coaches before Amodu simply because I‘m good enough to be in the team.”

The Everton forward said despite the team‘s shortcomings he was confident the Eagles would now put behind them the 3-1 reversal they suffered at the hands of the defending champions by beating Benin on Saturday.

”Obviously, we were all very disappointed to have lost that game.

”We started well in the first 25, 30 minutes, but as soon as they drew level, we failed to defend well and eventually lost to a better team.

”We now have to focus on the next game, go out there and give our best to beat Benin.”

Tuesday‘s loss has also placed a question mark over Amodu‘s future and an early Nations Cup exit could see him being replaced in time for the World Cup.

RomanceRe: Why Do Men Find It Hard To Love Their Women In Relationships? by milkan05(m): 11:14am On Jan 15, 2010
Follow up threads like these are partof the reasons why it is harder to love the woman you are in a relationship with these days.  Well i no blame una na 'Beijing 95' na im everythin for blow up. women liberation has become the order of the day since that time. women want to contest and rub shoulders with men in every ramification of life and dis is one of the reasons why divorce rate in Nigeria and other parts of the world has shot up by over 67% in just a little over 10yrs.

To suffice, itz a two way thingy but it is imperative to start that most women would have to do more work when it comes to marriage,  Why? I guess itz a natural law of nature. I did a little research a while back with a sample of 20couples who were happily married (so they said, ) and I found out most of them had to go through serious normal guy wahala -he does not love me enough, he cheats on me, he does not allow me handle finances etc) but they all and I mean all had to 'STOOP TO CONQUER'. All said at one point in time they finally got the respect and place they deserved after carefully playing ball and generally submitting to their husbands.

So I laff when I see threads like this.

Men do love their wives most times but you all know the normal issues with men - so you had better find a way to deal with and submit to your husbands(not necessarily boyfriends)
