Macron just said that French troops will be sent to Ukraine if Russia advances towards Odessa or Kiev. Too bad Russia isn't any closer to Odessa soon. It would be lovely to see
|
WriiterNg:I heard they paid 10,000€ each to escape Zelenskyy. |
WriiterNg:Where are the fanboys to come and clap for their masters, the protector of the world. This news remind me of the movie Black November when Ebiere talks about how "they make us hungry and then feed us". Veto against all UN resolutions to stop the genocide ✓ Donate thousands of weapons to Palestinian babies ✓ Support all war crimes again Palestinians ✓ Go after any nation who criticizes Israel's genocide of Palestinians ✓ Defend genocide at the ICJ, then threaten the ICJ to not order Israel's withdrawal ✓ But yeah , the US will open a maritime route for humanitarian assistance to Gazans ![]() All actions that ensure the survival of Palestinians are welcome, even if from an enemy state. Hopefully, it won't be an ambush like the last humanitarian assistance that was a trap for Palestinians to get sprayed with machine guns. |
Dalohad:Meanwhile as we speak, there are thousands of you loaded into night buses and trailers on their way to Lagos. Everyone in that landlocked shitty region dreams of coming to Lagos. The unlucky ones wey remain never get transport fare and accommodation money.
|
babasolution:Lagos is Yorubaland, and not for everyone. The opinion of people from one of the worst states in the country do not count. Imagine a Cameroonian trying to form opinion on how Australia should be run. Respect your hosts and stay within the boundaries of the law. Shioor. |
Vic2023:Syria just claimed to have an air defense force which shot down missiles above the country. I'm shocked |
Tiopii:What do you mean retaliate? Aren't they the first to order an airstrike on the Houthis? The houthis were only blocking Israeli ships from passing before the UK decided to flex its muscles on what did not concern them. Now they have been proven to be a paper tiger hiding behind the USA. |
Stoplying:I don't believe he has to account for anything. It is common knowledge that NATO troops are on ground in Ukraine. Those who agreed to go must surely have some plausible deniability clause in their contract. Also, many of the French guys in Ukraine are members of the French Foreign Legion, so are easily deniable as they cannot be classified as regular troops. Also, if you remember, in January, Russia claimed to have killed 60 French soldiers in a strike on Kharkiv. France came out to say it was Russian disinformation and that France has no soldiers in Ukraine. Russia released some names, only for France to double-down and say the guys were not French soldiers but people with French nationality serving in the Ukrainian military, and that Russia only got the names through a leak. |
WrriterNg:The counteroffensive that they were loudmouth about. Even those in their basement in Kwara State knew all about their plans. I have never seen an army advertising a counteroffensive like I have seen with the Western-controlled Ukrainian army. Trying to win on social media when Ukrainian men and boys are dying on the battlefield. When the SMO is over and the propaganda stops, we'll know why Ukrainian streets are empty of men.
|
Vic2023:They should not negotiate yet. We know the whole of Donbass is forever back into Russia. I need Putin to take Odessa seriously before any negotiations. ![]() |
WriiterNg:Lula today again called genocidaire Israel for what it is. Baby killers But according to one unemployed half-baked lawyer who has never seen outside the walls of Kwara State , Lula da Silva is only saying that so he can enjoy 72 virgins in the afterlife.
|
WriiterNg:All the Western Media are so biased that it's so glaring even to neutrals. They are making it sound like the traitor defected for moral reasons. The so-called pilot was a traitor who betrayed Russia in exchange for 500,000 euros and not because he opposed the SMO. His family were moved out of Russia earlier and he directly caused the death of two Russian servicemen. He also gave Ukraine military parts he was transporting all in exchange for 500,000€. |
I have just been seeing different copes on Twitter since morning. Lol. This one said Russian losses are 13 times higher than Ukraine's in Avdiivka. I wonder how many fathers and sons Ukraine will lose before the Ukrainian people revolt about fighting someone else's war.
|
soqmeov:Too late already. Retreating units are being pounded mercilessly. Azov (now the 3rd brigade) is currently hiding in an underground tunnel in a factory once again. I feel for soldiers (not the occupation genocidal ones). Irrespective of their beliefs, they have to follow orders. |
Khan Yunis. Red triangles ![]()

Mille:20 days later, dollar is over 1600. Electricity is non-existent. Almost everyone in my estate now run their generator for long hours that my eardrum is almost damaged. Inflation is high and insecurity is on the rise. I don't even login to my social media again cos the economy has turned almost everyone in my DM into Almajiri. The "Democrat" in Aso rock is quiet. Time to update my dusty CV and use my passport. I like my remote work, especially the lifestyle and freedom it gives me. But the country is gone. At least for the next 5 years. The gods be damned if I'm still here by December. |
WrriterNg:Trying to save face after Hezbollah's heavy attack on their Northern command base in Safed which killed a female soldier and wounded 7 others. I wonder where the might iron dome was.
|
seunny4lif:Reality don set. Una don dey talk true small small ![]() |
Gbadebo19:Exactly. And my opinion is that you will live a miserable life that death will be like a gift to you. Good thing is that the early signs are there. Social media is a leveler. I'm not going to be arguing wealth with you. It's just funny that this is coming from someone who has all their financial problems on nairaland, including that of his 71 year old father who can't afford anything beyond feeding ![]() A religious extremist cannot fanthom regular people condemning the killings of women and children. You are not different from Boko Haram and the likes. Oh and btw, I'm am atheist. Look for atheist slurs if you're looking to abuse me. |
nigeriansamurai:Don't forget she is also a suicide bomber. That's exactly what the foolish Gbadebo19 thinks. I'm sure he will be having a celebratory dinner to celebrate a new batch of dead babies. Anyone I see still supporting Israel now after their terrorist activities is a religious bigot and terrorist. I wish all their current supporters horrible deaths and miserable endings to their life. |
Imagine the headline is baby Hind was white. Baby Hind was traveling with her family when they were attacked by Israeli tanks. The little girl survived while her relatives were killed, and managed to stay on a phone call that led the PCRS to send an ambulance to save her. The occupation army killed the little girl and the ambulance crew when they tried to save her. All of you that support child killers, especially the idiot who called babies terrorists, may you all die a horrible death.

They've so much abused this anti-semiu. Any small thing like this, you are termed anti-silifa ![]()

WriiterNg:Word on the street is that he is an obedient commander. He was in charge of Bakhmut and kept following orders from you-know-who and Zelenskyy to pour soldiers into the Bakhmut meat-grinder to make it a media spectacle that it became. You know as a symbol of Ukraine never surrendering and fighting to the end. But he is good. He led the defense of Kiev and the successive Kharkov counteroffensive. Funny enough, the man is an ethnic Russian with no prior connection to Ukraine other than being stationed there when the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991. His parents and siblings have been found to still live in Russia. Like for many people in Ukraine, it's funny how being Ukrainian or Russian is just down to a personal decision. Too bad how they used the 2014 Euromaiden coup to turn regular Ukrainians against their elder siblings. |
Alamkir:Syria and Iraq have no sovereignty again in my eyes. All countries both allies and enemies seem to have active presence in both countries. Missiles, drones and aircrafts seem to enter their territories at will without repercussions. Instead of striking their respective countries, warring countries seem to use them (especially Syria) as a battlefield to settle scores. |
Appleyard:You can give them that credit. They know how to select people, train them, put them in powerful and sensitive positions, and have them influence their policies. The current defense minister of Ukraine is a FLEX alumni. The FLEX program is an exchange year for high-school students from the former Eastern Bloc and Central Europe to spend a year in the USA with a host family while studying. It provides an opportunity to select the "useful ones". Russia used to be among too and they hated it. They couldn't stop the program to prevent an uproar. But they were presented with an opportunity to end it in 2014. A Russian high school student was chosen to stay with TWO Alphabet MEN. When the program finished, they offered to get him into Havard, got him alphabet lawyers, and influenced the boy to apply for asylum as a newly inducted "alphabetee". Russia subsequently ended the program. Another notable alumni is Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya. It might not ring a bell but she is a "Belarusian Guaido" recognized by Lithuania as the president of Belarus. She spearheaded the 2020 coup in Belarus. There are so many of these notable alumni in Ukraine

Stoplying:That some kingdoms have had supreme rulers. The Alaafin was a supreme ruler in his kingdom. The Oba of Benin was supreme in his own kingdom. Same for many other kingdoms. In 1932, two kingdoms were unified as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Hence 1932 was its inception. They've had maybe 6-7 Kings since then, who have all being from the house of Saud. So let know what you're trying to infer |
Segun2222:I personally don't have a problem with people ruling forever. As long as it's not a despot. Let everybody do whatever works best for them. Don't impose your beliefs and strategies on others. Before the British came, the Alaafin was a supreme ruler in Yorubaland, same for the Benin Kingdom and others. The house of Saud has been ruling Saudi since inception, transforming it from a wasteland to what it is now. Lee Kuan Yew was Prime Minister of Singapore for 31 years. Singapore was expelled from Malaysia, look at the economic powerhouse it has become. Look at China today. 49.8% of the Chinese population lived below the poverty line in 2000. As at 2021 it was reduced to just 0.6%. We claim to be practicing Democracy in Nigeria but the country gets worse and worse every day. Every 4 to 8 years, we get people and their caucus who seek to eat their share of the cake before they are kicked out in the next 4-8 years. During Jonathan, we had Dasukigate, during Buhari, we had Umar Farouq. Just today, EFCC is reported to be investigating someone for a whooping $6BN stolen funds. Thank God someone is earning in USD, so a bit protected from inflation. In the past 30 days, I have exchanged USD five times. Rate was 1187 by 29th December and I exchanged again yesterday for 1400 per USD. Today, it's 1440. I can't believe that at this time last year, I exchanged at 744 I won't mind a Putin or Xi Jinping ruling for 30 years if they can improve the country. The poverty rate in Democracy-practising Nigeria is alarming.
|
Vl3ly:I'm confused as to what will happen to the prisoner swap. Will the already selected Russian prisoners be exchanged for the corpses of the Ukrainian prisoners or a new set of Ukrainian prisoners selected for the exchange? |
Fighttillvictory:Except when it comes to the US vetoing UN resolutions ![]() |
