The next morning before assembly, he asked me and those two other boys to accompany him to go buy one trending Nokia phone C3, with the same stolen money. During breaktime that same day, I saw him, his mum, two teachers and our principal in the school compound as they were having his school bag ransacked.

As a smart guy, I sensed something was wrong. My instinct told me all the money he's been spending with us was stolen. I had to miss school for three days. It was later I learnt that he and those two boys following him were flogged mercilessly and and humiliated at the school assembly ground.
