Western media always prefer to report only the negative stuffs about Africa... And they always find the most embarrassing and poor images of Africa to attach to their articles.

There's a reason for that. Audience in the west are only interested in such negative stories... It makes them feel better about their skyrocketing electricity and grocery bills knowing that some people in Africa don't even have electricity or food atall to start with.

It's all psychology, people feel better when they realize that someone else's situation is worse.

Plus, bad news naturally sells... Compared to good news.

Don't worry, bullets will answer you. When Army responded to EndSars bandits at Lekki, why didn't you go back there the next day?.. You that can't come out to face unknown gunmen locking you & your parents up on Mondays but want to confront the Army. When Obi loses or is disqualified, make sure you lead the revolution, you MUST take the lead.. MUST.

So Yeah I will be right there on the front line! And I hope to see you there too! so I can shoot that your head that is not empty, but rather filled with tribalism, bitterness and natural hatred for Igbo people which im sure have never done anything to you personally. how did you end up this better? And what makes you think I'm Igbo? Because I'm Obidient? Sir I really think you need help, seriously and genuinely speaking... Have you tried talking to someone? Maybe a professional? angry sad undecided

Lol your question seems a little aggressive sir, like I don't have the right to visit my ancestral home for Xmas? You dey pursue me? Well the answer to your question is: I missed my grandparents! The duo partner in crime would rather die than move to stay with the rest of the family over there.

They are all the same. Just choose your own version of frustration and start dealing with it!

If you have stayed abroad, you'd hate every damn thing about this country, especially our so called leaders!

Nigerians are either cowards, have low I.Q or should I say addicted to suffering!
In a sane country we(The youths) should be staging a nationwide uprising and revolution! not supporting the same old politicians that have been playing with this country since God knows when! All in the name of tribalism or religion! (wetin concern me, shebbi na xmas carry me come back here, Mek I do travel back!)

To get anything right in this country is a Rocket science!

Ordinary internet that the rest of the world have perfected and moved on decades ago, we are still struggling with our own.

Electricity nko? Oh this topic is not about that one, sorry.

This has been happening for a very long time, my cousin in Mexico told me that cartels fully control many cities in Mexico.
I still don't get how a cartel with limited resources, man power and money can be challenging an actual government boldly.
Unless those cartel leaders are codedly running part of the government.. I don't see how that can be possible.

Oh The Pope should declare a new crusade so that the knight templers order can launch an invasion to protect the Christians?

No.. those days are gone

Now no one scares about Christianity anymore, not even the so called Christian leaders.

Everyone only cares about their personal and political interests. America as a powerful "Christian" nation would gladly support the oil rich Mecca in a war against Vatican city!

Lol an average Nigerian that hasn't traveled before always over-estimates "abroad" in their imagination. as if it's another planet and people there breathes in different type of oxygen, Or that white people are such a big deal and much different from us.

Then you finally get there and realize that they also have people that don't shower or brush for days, People who pick their nose and eat it, people who spit on the sidewalk and people who scratch their itchy nyash and balls in public.

When the country was still on the right path!

Modified:

For those quoting me and citing civil war. Yep... The Nigerian Civil/Biafra war was obviously tragic and nothing to write home about. But that didn't change the fact that Nigeria as a country was still in a better place during that period. the Nigerian pounds and US dollar was still in a tight neck-to-neck race as at then. And the Nigerian passport was ranked among the most powerful passport of any 3rd world country... I have done my homework.

My Grandfather was a business traveler back then, he told me that Visa/ticket fee was literally the only obstacle between Nigerians and Europe/North America back then.

everything was smoother and easier for Nigerians. Unlike now!

Our Young nation had so much potential.. that the whole world thought by now we would be up there with the rest of the global powers. But then, for whatever reason... Our aircraft nose dived all the way to the sea floor! and still down there rusting without any hope in sight.
