pandoragirigory: Thanks for the information In your little world, your brain automatically interprets any name that doesn't look or sound Yoruba, Hausa/Fulani to be Igbo. Nigeria is way beyond the 3 major ethnic groups but your OCD wrapped around Igbos and Obi, has incapacitated your mind.

GeneralDae: Yes. Multidimensional poverty is different from monetary poverty. Hope you know that? If a man is not monetary poor, why is his children not having access to education, healthcare services etc? |
Politics › Re: Nigeria’s Unemployment Rate Falls to 4.1% by Mindlog: 6:48pm On Aug 24, 2023 |
GeneralDae: Majority of those people in multidimensional poverty (which means without access to education, clean water, electricity, good health care) are generally farmers or petty traders. They are not jobless.
In the UK however, they would have been completely jobless depending on Government stipends. They live in multidimensional poverty but economically engaged and earning income? |

Yaya88: Hello everyone, I thought to update you. I haven't received a response from the Home Office concerning my decision or the complaints department since I submitted my complaint, so I sent a mail to the UKVI contact center on Monday to inquire if a decision had been made, but I was told my application was still being considered. Yesterday I received another email stating my case has been re-escalated and the Sheffield team reached out to me today to inform me my application is being worked on and a decision will be made as soon as possible.
I don't even know what to think or how to feel. It seems so long ago since I submitted my application with such excitement for my intended study in the United Kingdom. I even made a vision board of all my future plans with a detailed description of internships I would do, what I would wear to my graduation ceremony as a graduate with distinction, my dream job and salary, the company I would work for, places I would visit etc. Now I look at it every day and feel my dreams slipping away...
It is heartbreaking! Be calm, this would also pass......I also dreamt, arrived, graduated and on my dream job. |

Family › Re: Why Do Most Nigerian Women Think This is The Only Way To Express Love by Mindlog: 12:14pm On Aug 24, 2023 |
theInfinity: I have come to realise that many Nigerian women think that the only way for a person to prove their love is by giving them and they stylishly tag it being "caring". Even a criminal can spend on you when dating you and deal with you when he finally marries you. Funny, most men may not be able to give because they are struggling but that doesn't mean they don't care. Why has friendship with many Nigerian women become transactional. A sugar daddy can still give a lady but the truth remains that he will go back to his back at home and will never divorce her to marry you. Please beautiful Nigerian women, let's stop making a relationship a business transaction. What does a man want from a woman that his fellow man can't give him and what does a woman want from a man, that her fellow woman can't give her? |
