pocohantas:"In patrilineal systems, brideprice is essentially an obligatory tax on young men, payable to older men".....😆😆😆 |
The physical cash has its significance. |
funshint:When did you begin to realize it was a disaster?🤣🤣😆 |
Tinubuadvocate:Why hasn't he? |
Plan my exit. |
ganisucks:Can Tinubu dare call a Governor from the core Northern States, like those of Zamfara and Borno who are both younger than Udom in age, a boy?🤔 |
Brendaniel:Nigerians can't win it, the nearest attempt will be from runners from Plateau, Adamawa and Taraba who have undergone years of rigorous trainings. |
Time for Kenyans and Ethiopians to cash out as usual. |
"“Up till now, there are many states, especially in northern Nigeria, where local governments have no single bank,” the former Kano governor said and in some areas, even the local government headquarters is well over 100km away and it becomes extremely difficult for them to take their money".......I keep responding to the bragging that the North is far ahead and masters when it comes to politics........what is the point of being ahead in politics when it does not translate to human capital and infrastructural development? How can there not be a single bank in a local government? Shouldn't it have been their people in government over the years, who should have been in the fore front for the deployment of mobile banking where one can use a basic phone without internet access to execute financial transactions, payment of bills, receiving and transferring money, even receiving international transfers from the likes of Western Union, MoneyGram etc without leaving their villages....That is what Kenya got right with their M-pesa, as long as your phone can receive sms, you are included in the world's financial network. I worked in one of the far flung areas in Kenya, which can pass for a very rural area in Zamfara State. I financially survived on a very basic phone without internet, as my bank accounts was accessed through it and was receiving my western union through it without having to visit the nearest physical bank branch that was almost a 45mins drive away. |
"only the All Progressives Congress (APC) has a genuine interest in advancing the course of humanity and also lifts the country economy to an appreciable height"....8 years after.
|
Hendrixky:The coming census will shock you 🤣🤣 |
Commendable. |
peepydelano:I engaged you and rather than responding line by line, you are posting someone's screenshot that reflects her personal view, just as they were other Ndi Anambra who within that time frame have Nairaland posts highlighting the positives of the then Obi's administration.....so don't operate from a kindergarten level, engage me, responding why it is okay for others to support their candidates without being tagged as bigots. |
If a place is a rural setting,.it justified the constant killings? |
peepydelano:After you tried to convince them not to "waste" their votes but should vote for Atiku, since you couldn't get through them, they became tribal bigots!😆😆😆😆 Yorubas who are voting for Tinubu are not tribal bigots.😆😆😆😆 Core Northerners who are voting for Atiku based on tribal affiliation or religious sentiments are not bigots 😆😆😆 But Obidients who choose to vote for Obi are the tribal bigots.😆😆😆 You need psychiatric evaluation! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 |
Tinubuadvocate:E wan form University graduate.😆😆😆 |
Ireportlive:Same Tinubu that migrated to Lagos, like millions of other Nigerians?🤣🤣🤣 Or can you mention Tinubu's biological father's name?😆😆😆 Ireportlive:Too old to know that Tinubu is ancestrally from Osun State and moved to Lagos for better opportunities like millions of other Nigerians? Growing up means acknowledging reality, not air brushing it nor diverting attention.😆😆😆 There are more honourable ways before God and man, to earn your keep.....that is growing up. |
Reality setting in |
AnayoDivine:You write well for your age. While still awaiting University admission, you can learn online on how to improve on what comes easily to you... writing, and how to earn from it. Also look into transcribing, there are lots of free resources on it. During my undergrad days, $$$ earned from transcription projects helped pay my bills. |
Let her ask the husband for divorce, then the man should grant her that as he removes the name of the child from the building ownership, he should also ask the court to grant him financial compensation for all he has spent on the child and his soon to be ex-wife. |
It proves the borders up North are porous. |
Soludo is not promoting his party's candidate but has eyes on another.🤣🤣🤣 |
nicerod:His mum is supposed to be there before he met his wife, just as his mother-in-law was there for her daughter before she met her husband. As a married man, his wife is not a stranger but she and their children comes first before his birth family. |
Kobojunkie:She is a full blown adult and should earn her fare and related expenses that such visits would gulp because it is not enough missing her child and wants to visit, if she is not earning. She must have to work extra in the village and save for such visits, else she shouldn't disrupt the child who doesn't need inconsistency in her young life. |
Kobojunkie:Reality on ground is that she is going to be 20 while the child's father will be 19 this year and have been sent back to the village, like she was based on her thread 2 years ago. They had their baby when they were 17 and 16 respectively and still yet to get their footing, to provide for the child though it does not discount the fact that they are the child's parents. She needs to get someone to mediate between she and her sister, work out how she can spend some time with her daughter while she straightens her life. |
Ngozey:You have no means of providing care for the child for now, your sister stepping in the prevailing situation is the best for the child for now as presently you are yet to establish direction in your life and bringing in a child into that uncertainty will be cruel, so you need to have that talk with your sister, about visitations. |
Ngozey:OK. Should you get custody of your child now, what is the arrangement for the child's upkeep e,g feeding, clothing, medication, care in your absence when you go to where you are learning fashion designing etc? |
Ngozey:You were a minor when you had the baby and a dependent of your sister and her husband. You should be about 19 now, did you get to finish your secondary school education before having the baby? While in the village, have you been able to learn a skill or a trade? |
And what has APC achieved in 8 years? |
Were you above 18, when you had the baby? The father of your child is the brother to your sister's husband, on what ground is your child in your sister's custody? |
The dog is not liable. ![]() |
DaddyCK:When you have interest in multiculturalism and have an idea of what is culturally appropriate to certain people, such question won't come up. |
