I applied for Ma social work but was offered ‘Ma childhood and youth studies’. I studied economics but have human rights experience...I’m confused, is it a part of social work? considering a partway on d skilled list.

MA Social Work is really sought after, MA Childhood and youth studies is distinct from MA Social Work as it will not get you registered with the British Association of Social Workers.

I personally see it as course for those interested in child and youth advocacy though I am going in for a children related course but mine is Msc Clinical Child Psychology.

If you don't feel at ease with it, search for other courses.
