Reality: HIV positive can marry HIV negative, they need to undergo HIV couple counseling section.
2. Myth: HIV positive mother will give birth to HIV positive child.
Reality: HIV positive mother can give birth to HIV negative child through Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission (PMTCT).
3. Myth: AIDS can't be treated.
Reality: AIDS can be treated by undergoing Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART)
4. STIGMATIZATION can be positive and negative. People clap down on the negative but silent on the positive. For instance, if you pass a student that failed because the student is HIV is positive is positive stigma. Every December 1 is WORLD AIDS DAY.
