Every character in Suicide Squad is replaceable except Amanda Waller.
I can't think of any other actress to play the part other than Viola Davis.

James Gunn should not remove all the good parts of Suicide Squad just because of this so called re-launch

BREAKING NEWS: Will Smith will not be returning as Deadshot for James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad Sequel due to scheduling conflict. The Film is set to begin in production late September of this year in Atlanta, Georgia. Suicide Squad 2 is scheduled to release on August 06, 2021.

This is really sad cuz I loved Will Smith as Deadshot
I don't think they will recast him so the Deadshot character will be totally absent in Suicide Squad 2.

Deadshot has been in every Suicide Squad adaptation I have seen so I don't know how to deal with this news.

Another marksman is needed to replace Deadshot.

There is no Suicide Squad without a marksman in the team.

Another person that will likely not be in the next Suicide Squad is Margot Robbie due to her involvement with Birds of Prey.

Two good characters are absent, I hope they keep Viola Davis cuz if she's not there I gonna loose my cool.

This is a great idea.

Forget Marvel formula...

DC should do something unique and entirely different.
Something Marvel Studios execs have never thought of.

We should have an Aquaman universe made up of not just Aquaman sequels but prequels and spin-offs like that Trench movie everyone is hating on.

We should have a Superman universe with sequels and spin-offs like Supergirl and other Kryptonians we never seen on big screen.

We should have a Flash universe with dozens of speedsters that WB has not even touched.

We should have a cosmic ( Green Lantern universe ) with the dozens of great characters and different worlds and Lantern Corps still unexplored.

All these different universe will be housed under a bigger DC universe.

DC should not follow Marvel's formula of releasing solo movies and then bring everyone together in a big Avengers movie every 4 years.

I want something unique and entirely different from what Marvel does.

The DC universe is too big and it is busting with potential.

The Trench spin-off in an Aquaman universe is just the tip of an iceberg in a great plan.

I don't know why fans are against it.

People are so obsessed with Marvel's formula and they expect DC to follow the same old method.

But let me clarify that supes hasn't been written off because during last year arrowverse crossover he helped the flash and green arrow fight off Amazo, and he is expected to return during this year Crisis on infinite Earth crossover. BVS was a 2015 movie remember.

WB has the character rights to Batman i.e they're free to mention his name or reference him anyhow they like but they cannot put him on a TV network because Fox has that right. Take for example in an episode in legacies, Julie plec had to call Geoff Johns just to use gorilla grudd, that there is character rights.

Titans is not on a broadcasting network but on streaming service where Fox rights to Batman doesn't reach there. That is the only reason Batman shows up in Titans.

Batwoman is a character of her own. Fox has nothing to do with it, therefore she can appear on a TV show and Batman can't.

You are clearly stating what I said. Go through my previous post, never did I said Disney can produce a new Batman tv show. What I am saying is that Disney now has a back door to DC comics by claiming the 60s Batman show and that is not all, because they also have the rights to the 60s Batman the movie.

At bolded - WB only got the rights to distribute the merchandise of 60s Batman after a deal with Fox that's all.

Fox has the TV rights of Batman but not the character right. What that means is that WB cannot produce any tv show with Batman and Fox can't because they have not right to said character that is why Gotham is airing on Fox and produced by WB. Though Disney is not buying the TV Fox, they have the power to influence what show could go on.

Firstly, Gotham wasn't cancelled.

Secondly, Netflix is a streaming service and Fox is a TV network (broadcasting) service. Difference being Netflix marvel shows like Daredevil, Luke cage, Jessica Jones, the punisher etc are produced by marvel television and ABC (Disney owned TV network) but are distributed by Netflix after a deal with Disney had been made. So your putting 2 and 2 together is pointless.

Thirdly, Fox don't have to air the show it is already in their gallery, there is something as having a sophisticated movie library.
