FreeStuffsNG: The states are actually in a better position to feed the prisoners. When this happens, non indigenes who commit crimes in other states can be convicted and deportedly shipped to their own states to serve their sentences. You can not abandon your job as parents and think other states should keep feeding your wayward children by other states. That can't work. Their state will set them free to save cost |

Anything less than N150 is not acceptable. We can't be refining locally and still be buying over N150 |

Politics › Re: Adeleke Vs Oyetola: Supreme Court Delivers Judgement Today by Minjim: 1:09pm On May 09, 2023 |
press9jatv: My Take As Supreme Court Prepare to Deliver Judgment Today.
These are points to note in the previous Apeal Court judgement delivered in favor of Sen. Ademola Adeleke. We should all recall that the Appeal Court which has 3 Judge's as Member that decided the Tribunal Appeal gave unanimous decision. Their unanimous judgment are from this point below.
1. That Adeleke Ademola did not forge any certificate, which was one of the ground that Oyetola/APC used to challenge the declaration of Sen. Ademola Adeleke victory and it will be recall that even at Tribunal it was declared that no forgery in the document submitted to INEC.
2. That Alhaji Oyetola and APC did not proof any over voting at the Tribunal. It should be recall again that the over voting allegations was one of the ground OYETOLA/APC used in challenging the victory but they were unable to prove this over voting allegations and it is said in law that he who assert must proof beyond reasonable doubt.
3. That Oyetola/APC withness who was called to testify and prove the over voting was not an expert in the field. Which means that the evidence wasn't an expert to testify before the court.
4. That the court award the fine of #500,000 to be pay by Oyetola in favour of the Appellant, which means that court did not just award a fine in a litigation without finding such case null and void.
I will be right to say that we shouldn't be surprise if the Apex Court demise OYETOLA/APC appeal against the Appeal Court Jugdement which touch across all area of ground been challenge from the tribunal stage.
To the good people of Osun State, Our joy will last forever, while APC in Osun will continue to enjoy their opposition duty forever and ever.
By 2:00pm we dance and rejoice as we await victory.

Igboid: We all saw how Ogbannaya Onu was rewarded for the bridge he started building since 1999.
Man was loyal to Buhari from ANPP days to CPN to APC. He became a victim of Igbophobia, was left crying like a baby in APC primaries with Buhari and co laughing at him.
Igbo politicians are mentally challenged. I look at them and I laugh. Where is Rochas Okorocha, was he not once the darling of the Igbophobic Nigerians for his "bridge building"( which to these Igbophobe actually means being self hating and insulting fellow Igbos)?
Umahi always had a facial of someone mentally challenged, I'm not surprised he is currently following same "Bridge building" path.
Common sense should tell you that a people who hate your people can never love you. You speak of Ogbonnaya Onu's contribution to Buhari and he was rewarded with a ministarial appointment for 8 years. What the SE' contribution to Tinubu/Apc winning the presidency that it'll be given SP ? |

Foreign Affairs › Re: Assassination Attempt Made On Russian President, Vladmir Putin by Minjim: 6:17am On May 04, 2023 |
Ukraine lhordspy: There are 3 sides to this.
Firstly, it is either Russia is trying to use a false flag operation, by carrying out a self-sabotage, a pretext to escalate things in Ukraine. Maybe Russia is getting tired of the petty military operation. They want to start levelling the ground already. They needed a tangible reason to do that, and an attempt on Putin life is a very solid reason to escalate things.
Or secondly, Maybe Some sections or groups of the Ukrainian military are feeling fly and stupid, or maybe suicidal; probably inflated and intoxicated by the empty-promises of the west. So they are trying to dare Russia and see what the hell they can do.
Or maybe, The Ukrainian military truly launched the attack. With the confidence that no one is actually going to believe the Russian's part of the story. Afterall, their puppeteer; the Un!ted state controls the media. The world only believe what they want us to believe.
Whichever way, one thing is certain: There will be repercussion, there will be consequences. Ukraine is in trouble. You sit in the comfort of your home saying Ukraine is just in trouble. Ukraine has been in trouble for over a year now and everyone knows Russia planned that attack. Russia can go ahead and do its worst. What hasn't it done before? The world is watching. |

The Nigerian passport should be the basic requirement for identification. You do know there's a war going on in Sudan, right? How do I put this now, if your house has ever been on fire, I guess you would have time to get your passport from the building ? |

If any Nigerian has to beg for equity and fairness in their own country, it is not their country
The fact that Joe Igbokwe acknowledges that people have to beg for fairness and equity in their own country, but makes light jest of it, shows that the man belongs to the stone age Nobody is begging for equity and fairness in civil service. We've seen all tribes holding high offices at the Federal and even different states levels . It's in politics. And we all know politics is a game of numbers and in Nigeria it's a winner takes all affair. What Joe is saying is that If you've made a choice, be prepared to live with the consequences.
