joselekas: This your point of family members mistakenly declining ITA is getting me worried. Which kind of mistake is that.
I'm submitting my eAPR next week after medicals and I am toeing the line of a family member paying on my behalf. I will have to stylishly inform him to be careful even though it may sound somehow. It's well.
Thanks for pointing this out. Mistakes happen and the accept/decline button are too close to each other so there’s that but I don’t think anyone will set out to jeopardize such an important process. Just be careful, is all |

Olisa222: Please I want to create a profile with spouse accompanying. The problem now is, my husband has not written ielts, he's out of town. Can I still go ahead and create the profile without his result because I'm running out of time. You can create a profile anytime and also update your husband’s IELTS score when you have it. |

Dennyjuff: Please I do not mean dt the document is missing. I meant that there’s no placeholder to attach the document on her profile. She can’t see where she’s supposed to upload it Have you cleared cache and tried using a different browser? If it doesn’t come up and you are running out of time you can use the webform to send the document and also inform them that a placeholder didn’t pop up. |

Brunobia: Thanks for your response. I'm really grateful. I will use it. No need for agents then. All the answers you have gotten are good but there’s one part you should be careful with. There have been reported cases of family members making payment and declining ITAs by mistake in the process. If they can give you the card details, even better (that’s what I did ) , if not, do the share screen thingy aka team viewer or tell them to be careful. All the best |

Unstoppableymx: Hi Everyone,
I want to use my wife as the principal applicant for our Express entry profile as age has reduced my point but my concern is her working experiences. Firstly, she has 2 different work experiences which are not related so we want to use 2 different NOCs but the recent job she resigned from and which she want to use as the primary occupation experience was not a registered company as at the time she was with them. The company got registered in June 2019 but she resigned in may 2019.
Can she still use the company for work experience despite not been registered during her time with them? |

Brunobia: Hi everyone, please I will like to enquire from those who filled their application forms anytime in 2020 till now..i.e they got their ITA after Dec 2019 and had to fill forms and pay Right to Permanent residence fee and Processing fees. We know for an adult it's almost 400k at present exchange rates and there is a limit on using our Nigerian debit cards. So how did you pay those fees as I understand you have to pay by the next page that pops up after submitting the application online. I'm thinking of using an agent to fill the application form for me and pay the fees when the time arises as paying the money is the challenge I have. I can fill the forms myself (I heard its quite voluminous) I will be present to check all the agent is entering on his system. Did anyone use agents to fill their forms and pay their fees cos they have a type of card that allows them pay huge sums of money. Thanks for your response. It’s basically an extended version of what you completed before ITA. If you are going to sit and watch them do it you might as well do it yourself. Ways to pay - ask a friend or family member abroad to pay on your behalf and send the equivalent. -Use virtual dollar card by flutterwave - get a prepaid dollar card from your bank |

Alobayz: Thanks all for your response. l have actually used the CRS to calculate the maximum possible scores l can get, even with my PhD (i.e assuming l get the highest scores possible in IELTS). The maximum l can get is 447 which l think is useless considering the recent range of CRS. It's just a pity!
Nevertheless, anyone with a good suggestion can please tell me a way out. Thank you. Your age?? Depending on your NOC & years of experience you can look at Ontario PNP or Saskatchewan |

Alobayz: Hello All,
Please, l need advice on WES. l did WES in 2019 on my certificates and l remember l chose academic instead of immigration when filling the form online. Then, l did it to apply for a PhD admission in the US.
My question now is, can l use it for Canadian Immigration Express entry No you can’t. You need another one for immigration |

Pee2Jay9: Good day all, please how long do I have to request for remark of my ielts? Do I have to choose which one to remark? Again, what's the worst that can happen? Lose my money and nothing will change or they can actually now reduce my score?
I appreciate your timely responses If I am not mistaken, it’s 6 weeks or was it 8? You need to check that part on their website. You can remark all or one component. The worst that can happen is your score remains unchanged but it won’t be reduced |

Abdomox: No. Let's learn to think out of the box. Not everything we read we carry on our head.
This is a Youth service, you don't expect numerous JDs like that. Hence, the 3 JDs are enough. Don't fabricate what you did not do biko.
And mind you 3 JDs can even best summarize the6-9 you're talking about.
So you know, this has been accepted by the VO, hence the reason she shared it...So, what else?
Please let's know that these IRCC guys are human and know better. Your PR application is not a gamble |

Note 1 states that: RFV check done; pending approval.
Please what does it mean?

Cutiemart: Good evening, pls I am new here. I am planning on joining the EE pool, I have already done my ECA and IELTS. I had a band 7.5 overall in IELTS, but my problem now is my work experience. I have worked in 3 different companies, while I have salary accounts for the 2 past jobs, I do not have a salary account for the last and most current job I had, which is the area I want to specialise in because it falls under NOC B. Pls is it possible to fill this work experience without them requesting I produce the salary account bank statement? According to IRCC, to prove work experience you’ll need reference letters for the jobs you are claiming points. Salary account bank statement aren’t included and payslips are optional |

bemagnify: I am in a dilemma right now ..,
I intend to migrate to Canada via the express entry but some things are bothering me.
Background
I am a Nigerian lawyer with over 3 years experience. I am currently 29 years old but will be 31 years by May 10 this year.
I am yet to get married but will be married this year.
What are my chances of the express entry?
What can I do to boost my Score?
What other means a person in my situation can obtain permanent residence ?
Please help. Just do yourself a favour and read page 1 of this thread.Come back with questions if any part is unclear. And you will be 30years old not 31 yeah? If you max your IELTS, get an IQAS evaluation and with 3years work experience you should be looking at 473 or thereabout |

Tvickie: Hello, Thank you for everything in this forum. I have a question pls. I applied for the federal skilled worker program and did a fixed deposit for 3 months. Now it has expired and the application is still on eligibilty stage. I refixed the pof (gift deed from my dad) for an extra 3 months again. Should I notify cic? or just leave the money in the account like that? What about going for a long date say 6months or 1year? Did you get a reasonable rate Atleast? That’s a different matter. But yeah, no need to inform IRCC just leave the money in the account. |

Please can anyone help me the directions on how to get to my IELTS exam venue @
Art-Thez Limited Suite 1A, First Floor Plateau House, Ralph Sodeinde Street, Central Area, Abuja
I checked Google maps and saw that the venue is in Asokoro district.
I'll becoming fom New Nyanya and will be taking public transport
Please, help me o. My exam is next tomorrow (less than 48 hours from now)
Thank you The easiest way I can explain is that this street is behind National ecumenical center(the big golden fancy church). Another landmark is Federal Ministry of Finance. I suggest you leave early and stop at any of these two stops but Federal Ministry of Finance is closer. All the best! |

lumley: Hello house,
Our application has been approved and CoPR is valid until October. However, I don’t think we can land before then. We are expecting a baby in July. With the current restrictions, the baby might need to be born before we land. Also we are not ready to move permanently because I’m still studying so I’m not sure we can soft land. IRCC advised that if family composition changes then our application will be reevaluated. Does anyone have a similar experience? And does anyone have an idea what the reevaluation be based on?
Thanks Medicals and POF to cover new family size |

or is the authorization letter only for COPR holders?

Georgeonye: yes she is. Ok I will. Then we decided she will rewrite her IELTS.because when I adjusted her listening score from 6.0 to 8.0 on the crs tool her total score went up to 454 from 391. Hello, if your wife has a Masters degree I suggest you evaluate that. Going through IQAS to evaluate the law degree might take a lot of time. |

Munierhart: I would like to add that if she's a law graduate like you said, she just needs to evaluate the law degree alone with IQAS or other evaluating bodies for law(do your research on that). It will be evaluated as a professional degree which is equivalent with masters. Not really...she is better off evaluating her masters degree. IQAS takes forever |
