1. I heard ordering GCMS notes makes you look desperate and your application might be delayed because of that. Is that true?
2. If one spouse (who is the principal applicant) medicals should expire before the other spouse, must that spouse with the expired medical do another medical test? If yes, should the spouse wait till IRCC requests for it, or just go and have another medical test done without them asking?

1. False - please request for your notes and track your application that way you can address any open/pending item (if any) before it’s too late.
2. I’ll recommend you wait for instructions from IRCC as your medicals might be extended.

It's safe to say that the people who started this trend did alot of research and master everything compare to the newbies, please let's not shot ourselves on the leg read up and use correct words. I was almost confused, i have to go get the correct term from page 1. Just my little opinion, not to spite you, it's for our own good.

Gift deed isn’t correct if we are keeping it real. Every time I used “gift deed” in the presence of a lawyer, I get corrected but hey, I might be wrong on both counts.

Hi guys, please I need your opinions on this.... i submitted my EE application in November 2020 and been waiting patiently on updates since then, gcms notes indicate my file is in Accra and eligibility hasn’t been passed.... I recently saw this post attached flying about in different groups and I thought to do a quick google search of my name and results came up with two businesses which I registered with cac few years ago. Issue is I never mentioned those businesses in my application as they were just side hustles and I didn’t claim points for them and also one was inactive while the other was just off and on for a while. In my case, My LinkedIn doesn’t show any of the businesses it’s just what’s in my personal history in the application that’s on my LinkedIn but a google search of my name pops up both businesses as a co-director for one and a sole proprietor for the other , do I raise a webform to inform them or do I just leave it ??

You need your gcms notes to confirm exactly why your eligibility hasn’t been passed.

Today is Monday, let's motivate ourselves.

The plan for 2021 is 401,000 new PR, but as of today they've issued 98,804 ITAs. Though practically impossible to reach that target of 401k this year, but they should strive to reach 50% of the target level. Hence, FSW draws might be rushed or cut-off dropped when draw resumes.

Also, it will be unfair to have a cut-off above 468 when the draw resumes because Ontario issued nominations to those that have scores below the last FSW cut-off(468).

If they go to 468 as cutoff for the first FSW draw, ITA to be issued won't be more than 28,295+or-. This we have seen them do for CEC on Feb. 13.

Fair enough but the 401k is for Immigration as a whole not just Economic and I think economic is less than 150k .
In addition, ITAs are just numbers so your target should be “how many landed PRs (inland & outland) have they gotten so far?”

Update on the DOB Error on the Degree certificate.

So, I was at the PG school and the PG school officials said they can issue a letter claiming the Degree certificate is in process and not ready.

Is this okay guys?

No stress, you are good to go
When you get your ITA, submit your application with your ECA and statement of result. In your LOE, state that your certificate is not ready.
Between now and 60days time, your Uni might have it ready and if it’s after you have submitted then send it via webform.
You don’t have to tell plenty stories so you don’t end up confusing the CPA or PA.

Great that DOB on transcript sent by UI is correct and on ECA too....like you say obviously an admin/printing error.

As for certificate, your call whether to include it or not....is "proof of educational credential, your certificate or transcript or statement of results? Your call......be guided by IRCC and instinct. See links and screenshots and click on the ? beside the education placeholder on your APR and then decide.

Different strokes for different folks, some believe in short and simple, some (like me ) believe in "put yourself in VOS shoes" and respond to whatever would cross your own mind as a question/query.....why wait for an ADR when the issue can be addressed upfront? It's one thing to provide what they didn't ask us for, like a lot of us do for ECA copy..... but quite another not to provide what was explicitly requested.

i know what US style of date is. But here is the Mistake.

The real date of birth is May 1, 1989 which can rewritten as 01/05/1989 or 05/01/1989(US style). But they wrote January 5, 1989 whereas my month of birth is May. Same Mistake was done for almost all my mate

I submitted my application with just notification of result (no certificate).
So if you get an ITA , what’s really important is your ECA and you can work on rectifying the error in parallel with your Uni. Remember K.I.S.S - there’s no need for too much information, just a simple LOE saying cert is not ready.

NOTE-- I want to apply as spouse non accompanying because my spouse is not able to improve my CRS score she is dragging it down to to 461 because she only have SSCE certificate.

I think “dragging down” is an unfair word. You can select non-accompanying for now but the question is which province are you interested in?

Half if not all the questions you people are asking have been answered on the first page and most importantly IRCC’s website.
You are going to make A LOT of mistakes if you rely on answers here because some people applied long time ago and the conditions and requirements keep changing.
Do yourself a favour and refer to IRCC’s website to avoid stories that touch - this is your future, be invested in it.
