In the core Northern states, a grown up man does not share the same chairs/ seats with the same grown women in the public . Just like a man does not remain standing while either talking with someone old enough to be either his Mum or dad.

TV/Movies10 Reasons To Watch Genevieve's Lionheart by Misterdhee1(op): 6:47pm On Jan 08, 2019
Lionheart isn’t just another Nigerian movie. It’s Genevieve Nnaji’s beautiful answer to Nollywood’s attempt to break into today’s globalized movie industry. And who else can do it better if not Nollywood’s own Angelina Jolie?

If you haven’t seen the movie yet, here are 10 reasons why Lionheart is a must-watch.

1. Netflix’s First Nollywood Movie

Lionheart is the first ever original film from Nigeria to be streamed on Netflix. The giant streaming service bought the movie in a multimillion dollar deal in September, 2018. The big deal about this is that the film which debuted at the Toronto International Film Festival in September, 2018, can be accessed by anyone, anywhere around the world.

2. Genevieve at her directorial best

For more than two decades, we’ve been used to Genevieve Nnaji, the actress. Lionheart presents to us, Genevieve Nnaji – the movie director. The perfection in her debut behind the camera is better seen than imagined.

3. The All-Star Appearance

Lionheart brought together the Nollywood titans and the afro-pop stars. Nkem Owoh, Pete Edochie, Onyeka Onwenu, Sani Mua’zu Kanayo O Kanayo, Jemima Osunde, Yakubu Mohammed and Kalu Ikeagwu excelled perfectly in their various roles. We bet you wouldn’t also want to miss Phyno and Mr P’s attempts at acting!

4. The Life and Travails of a “working woman”

Lionheart perfectly illustrate what it’s like to be a young woman trying to make it in a business world dominated by men. You will marvel at how the message was passed across in a light-hearted and warm environment. If you a young woman trying to push through amidst men, this movie is for you.

5. Nkem Owoh at his unusual best

Many of us grew up to the height of Nkem Owoh’s melodramatic theatrics. In Lionheart, our favourite Nollywood comedian is curtailed to a brilliant and strategic business man. You should nonetheless expect occasional Igbo jokes transliterated into English.

6. Enugu to the world

It is an unforgivable sin for you not to watch Lionheart if you’re from the coal city. The wonderful drone shots brought to live the flavour, color and beauty of Enugu.

7. The Beauty of Kano

The short trip to Kano state was a beauty. The beautiful scenes felt like a city in Dubai. If you haven’t been to Kano before, we assure you the charming imagery of the city would make you long for there.

8. The Amaka Igwe Effects

Even in her death, Uzoamaka Audrey Igwe has few matches when it comes to movie directing in Nigeria. It’s not surprising to know that Lionheart was Genevieve’s homage to Rattle Snake, Igwe’s award-winning film.

9. The Igbo-Hausa connection

The idea that Igbos and Hausas are sworn enemies has stayed with a lot of Nigerians over the years. Lionheart makes a unique attempt at defying the unpleasant stereotype. You will surely enjoy the seamless mix of Igbo and Hausa by Sani Mua’zu and Pete Edochie.

10. The many lessons

Beyond the awesomely directed scenes are a bunch of lifelong lessons. The later merger between Mikano and Lionheart Transport companies rifts the importance of negotiation and alliances in business. The movie also gives credence to the idea of doing good to strangers and respecting an elderly person’s decision.

I was actually expecting an audio where Amaechi would call out or snitch on Buhari. If this really is the full transcript of the supposed audio tape, then there's nothing surprising or damning there. Reno should go ahead and release part 3 to drive home his propangada properly. For a man that could play "the Wendell Smellin" card, there's no stupid level he can't go to.

Oga stay in your lane please, I'm imploring a sister on the right path to follow, I can't be referring to a heartless Afonja beast without a single conscience or human feelings. Dino has presented evidence of his Mercedes G class pierced with bullets insisting the police on the contrary fired shots at his convoy on his way to kogi about six months ago. I know you will remain blind to that but please before condemning him to death why not pretend you're unbiased by waiting patiently until a court verdict is passed after due investigation. I keep warning the south west to stop feeding that monster in aso Rock cos it will someday soon swallow your tinubu. God is watching.
Blablabla. So you're actually panting nd ranting because of a politician that gives no hoot about you right? Your case is surely beyond redemption. If Dino is innocent, the court of law will decide, not your God-forsaken igbotic opinion.

I do hope yemi doesn't choose elrufai though because elrufai is ambitious and can be unruly for a meek osinbanjo. A nuhu ribadu or a gentle person from the CPC group should be preferred
I would prefer a nuhu ribadu too, but elrufai seems to have a larger fan base up north compared to ribadu.

I was there live.

PDP completely short down Gombe township road leading to Gombe stadium from government house was completely close due to crowd.

With I saw today, PDP is in complete control of Northeast because people came all the way from Bauchi, Yobe, Borno, Adamawa, and Taraba just to participate in the rally.

Atiku was looking so presidential even the police stationed along the highway were hailing him.

For the first time I saw Hausa, Fulani, Igbo and Yoruba and other tribes relating as one people. I was so expressed.

One thing I admire about PDP is they are detribalised and void of religious division.

It'll be a miracle if Buhari defeat Atiku in the entire north east.

BillGoldberg:
Story of my life. Igbos are 100% in support of Atiku! We voted against Buhari in 2015 and we will vote against him again come 2019. You know why? Buhari was an imbeccile prior 2015 and became a worse imbeccile post 2015! We do not need any presidency come 2023 as far as it is from Buhari. Nothing good can ever come out of an accursed and cursed fellow from birth like Buhari. We Igbos won't even mind mortgaging our turn to run for Presidency by 2023 all to make sure the Northerners remain in Power! Even if Atiku looses now, we will still give him the support he needs come 2023. We will keep on supporting him till he becomes a President. Who presidency help? Shey Yorubas think they have sense? Lets see a Yoruba man then compete agains a Northerner and see how he wins!
At the bolded, Osibanjo-Elrufai combo would defeat your any of your yeye northern candidate fair and square in the north come 2023. Northerners love PYO for his unshaking loyalty to their small god, Pmb. And he would benefit from that massively in 2023. Your zone will remain in political wilderness till Jesus resurrect.

APC zombies just they jump up and down.. They will like you to do right thing and they themselves do the wrong thing at will.. If it was them now, you go dey hear all sort excuses like they don't trust the APC to organize a peaceful elections.. PDP accepted the blame and is already probing it.. Can we please move on.

When the president refused to sign the electoral amendment bill APC supporters were jumping up and down, so what is the essence of signing a peace accord when police and army would be used to intimidate people during the elections.

[No APC organized elections has been peaceful, so we don't expect to see any peace at all.. It is better we are all prepared for the outcome of the elections than signing a false document promoting peace
Don't die yet bro. Cos if you do, even Satan would reject reject you in in hell fire for this satanic lie.

Ok. I can elaborate on this a little bit . And probably give you some concrete exemples .

First of all , I suggest you go on YouTube and search for . " cowboy capitalist " .
it is about some white guys going to Africa to make money. Listen to The first 10 MN intro, That will help you understand why Africa is the last frontier .

1- Do you know that 6 or 7 out of 10 world fastest growing economies are in Africa as we speak ?
I was not aware of this myself until a friend who is risk manager at Goldman Sachs investment bank told me this . And I went to Google it.

2- As The world population keep growing exponentially , there is a pending food crisis pending .
Climate change is not a helping matter either because many land are becoming unfavorable and over used .
According to many expert , the solution is in Africa . We have the biggest , largest almost virgin lands for agriculture anywhere in the world. ( Please go listen to Ted radio hour . The big 5 challenges awaiting the world ) . Now ask yourself why the Chinese are all over the continent now trying to grab as many land as the can .

3- less competition , fewer regulation more relax environment. Etc..

I know this Lebanese guy who told me that he used to live in Nigeria when he was young.
His dad opened a candy factory and this is how he started making his fortune .
The Chinese , the Lebanese comes with nothing , and leave our shores millionaires .
When Donald Trump received African leaders he told them how he has many friends who became very rich doing businesses in Africa . Go see that video .

Now to be concrete . Just think outside the box . Don't try to copy what everyone is doing . Try to create solutions in your enviroments. Think big . Always be one step ahead . Money is all around you.

- don't sell that family acres of land just to travel abroad and do manual jobs.
Buy 2 or 3 tractors ( you don't have to farm like your grandfather did ) , build that autonomous irrigation system . Try to be like those rich American farmers .

- solar is another big thing . With all the sun we have you can create a little cooperative , install and supply electricity for your people for a monthly fee.

- you want to do poultry business ? Why not create your own small brand of fast food or KFC type at the side ?

- All those trash you see everywhere , do you know that there are system nowadays to transform it to home cooking gas ?

I can go on and on. If Nigeria is not working for the moment . U can choose another African country . Abide by their law. Mingle with the right people to get some connection. Prayer and some luck , you are good to go.
Easy on paper sir. Come to Nigeria and face the bitter realities.
