Travel › Re: Should Nigerians Retaliate The US Travel Ban By Boycotting American Companies? by misterjosh(m): 12:18pm On Feb 01, 2020 |
If we were a nation that really produces things for ourselves, and are self reliant "to a reasonable extent", than boycotting American companies, goods and services would have been a viable option. |

Juliearth: Too many faulty/fake electrical fittings in the market and with this harmattan, a small fire is capable of spreading fast. May God replenish the pockets of those affected. Coupled with numerous generators that litter the market... all it takes is one faulty generator, then watch the fire spread. |

Good news, but what follows after aerial bombardment... even me that I'm a civilian know that a mop up exercise has to be carried out by ground forces. From this write up I can say nothing of such was not done or being positive, hasn't been done yet. That's why these terrorists keep recouping and striking back. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: FG Orders The Recruitment Of Constables For Community Policing by misterjosh(m): 3:53pm On Jan 26, 2020 |
2020 budget has been passed already, projected earnings and expenditures noted... now you want to do recruitment that you didn't factor in before. If this eventually comes to pass we will now be having issues of owed salaries. That's what we get when we are governed by people who do not see beyond their noses, always reacting to issues and never proactive. I'm pretty sure the emergency of Amotekun and other regions planning to follow same route gave birth to this ill-planned recruitment. Just my thoughts though. |

Witchersunited: Maybe it's me or somtin
Do people bother to check things
The crisis affects the north more, they kill their own people more than Christians
I'm not a Muslim but Christians over do things
False alarm and panic everywhere, see south west that nothing happens to talking about regional Police, how many people died in South West? Look at the case well and u will see that the vigilante group is a tribal affair, benue that has suffered alot aren't even talking about policing, it's Lagos with only 5 deaths So your defence is in that the number of deaths is not much enough? Because I'm really not understanding your point |

Someone this visibly angry and yet didn't act on it and you still say he can't control his anger . Anger is one many human emotions we experience at various times, how you choose to act on them now shows your control. Some kudos to the man for doing just that. |

Politics › Re: Nigerians To Get 18-Hour Electricity Supply Soon – Sale Mamman, Power Minister by misterjosh(m): 6:58pm On Jan 12, 2020 |
Clueless people, the 4000+ MW they're struggling to generate across the whole nation is being generated by just a single power plant plant in South Africa. Percentage of coverage over there in rural areas surpass what we have in urban areas here. We are indeed our own enemy, with billions of dollars spent on this power matter over the years (even decades) we are still here today. Very shameful. |

Audio tech nation where citizens still queue up just to register for national I.D card that we don't even know when it'll eventually get issued. There's no form of deceit worse than self deceit... we better wake up. South Africa is way ahead in terms of technology. Maybe when we're about to sort out our problems of power generation and transmission, then we can start challenging them. |
