iHart: They are building more estates while the ones that are already built are empty. If they place a heavy tax like 500k per month for every empty flat, every house will be occupied and price on the rent will drop drastically. People will even be begging you to come take their house.
A really nice idea I must say. If one defaults such taxes accumulates till it gets to the value of the property. At which point such properties are forfeited to relevant housing ministry. This nonsense will stop in no time if such tax reforms can be put in place.
Buhari sacked this, Buhari sacked that... does the Buhari even know these people at all, or what they do... someone or some persons are truly pulling some powerful strings behind the scenes.

BEFORE YOU MAKE A JUDGEMENT WATCH THE FULL VIDEO..WHAT HAS BEEN POSTED ABOVE WAS JUST AN INTRODUCTION TO THE REAL ANSWER WHERE HE MADE HIS POINT....
A very weak excuse, so the future of the youth is to be planting trees He was lucky that line was in his prepared speech.
Every year, same old news... mumu people. More serious nations are intensifying researches into green energy, you're here battling with refineries built decades ago.
Note- The population of Lagos alone is something that would only be calculated by a calculator.
In cities like New York, you can't escape traffic. So does it apply to a country of over 300 million heads like Nigeria, whose "get rich quick" pills is hawked in LAGOS.
I am very sure in the New York you mentioned bad roads are not the cause of their traffic... but this Lagos ehn, bad roads are the major cause of traffic.
The ignorant fellas shouting he is being invited to talk about transportation. Yeye, what exactly does MC know about transportation. Touting and transportation are two entirely different things... nonsense special guest
HeWrites: Senator Shehu Sani has reacted to the recent increment in Value Added Tax (VAT) by the President Muhammadu Buhari led federal government, Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV had reported that President Buhari, in the last FEC meeting held on Wednesday, approved a two per cent increase in VAT to move it from the current five to seven per cent.
The Minister of Finance, Zainab Ahmed, who made the disclosure, however, said the implementation will not take effect until the approval by the National Assembly.
Reacting to the development in a tweet sighted by Igbere TV on Saturday, the former Senator representing Kaduna Central, wrote;
Igbere TV could deduce that the Kaduna born politician meant the President Buhari led administration was 'robbing Peter (masses) to pay Paul' (workers’).
theenchanter: The Federal Executive Council (FEC) presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday approved about N182 billion for the construction and rehabilitation of various roads across the country.
The Minister of State for Works and Housing, Alhaji Abubakar Aliyu, said this while briefing State House Correspondents on the outcome of the maiden FEC meeting held at the Presidential Council Chamber, Abuja.
Priscy01: Nigerians have reacted with outrage to the approval of an increase in Value Added Tax (VAT) rate in the country from 5 per cent to 7.2 per cent by the Federal Executive Council (FEC), Igbere TV reports.
Igbere TV reports that the Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed, announced the approval after the FEC meeting in Abuja on Wednesday.
She said stakeholders, including the National Assembly and the states, would have to agree on the date expected to be in 2020.
“We also reported to council and council has agreed that we start the process toward the increase of the VAT rate. We are proposing and council has agreed, increase in the VAT rate from 5 per cent to 7.2 per cent,” she said.
Nigerians have expressed disappointment with the government over the increase.
Who exactly are the stakeholders, do they not include the average Nigerian on whose purchases the VAT would reflect on... no consultation with us so this yeye increment cannot be allowed to stand.
What's wrong with this country, how will you propose that a single road will be costing 1billion naira each year to maintain, like howwwwwwww come... have a good railway network, take stress off the the roads...
Debt is not actually a bad thing if the money borrowed is put to good use, but the case of Nigeria is different, they keep borrowing money with nothing to show how they're been spent. Just this evening I read of the massive debt Americans have accumulated just for going to college. That's debt in a right direction, not borrowing to pay salaries and carry out projects that you'll still borrow more money to maintain again. Just imagine borrowing money to service already incurred debts. This country ehn, let me just stop there.
With all these contributions of some governors to the police in their states, isn't it time to test the waters of state police... at least in states that feel they can manage a state police...
Heartless people, just imagine the huge sum... like they didn't have functional cars before. Four years will pass and they'll want to sell the cars to themselves at ridiculously low prices. Shame
