Politics › Re: The Threats To The Obi Mandate From Within The LP, Ireti Kingibe And Others. by Misterone: 8:29pm On Mar 14, 2023
G5politico:
Since the controversial and tainted elections that held on the 25th of February, it has been a familiar but uneasy journey for Peter Obi. The Labour party presidential flag bearer and leading candidate till the election results were announced in the early hours of the morning while men slept. as reality has set in and the battle has begun there are many that were with him but are no longer on his side. Many of them have been able to achieve their selfish aims and ambitions. The fight which will most likely end at the highest court of the land has only begun as one will expect with INEC and the ruling party seemingly hand in gloves. it's a battle of the people versus the strongest forces imaginable.

Along the line we saw the LP get some seats in the National Assembly which is key to any political success. with a divergent approach we saw people who had no political background run on the platform of the Labour party and win. A great win for democracy. in this same stroke of Obi grace, we have had some of the usual suspects sneak in and join the party. They are everywhere you turn but have remained quiet as we battle to save a mandate and most likely the future of this nation, we call ours.
Ireti Kingibe is a strong member of the old guard, she has been in SDP, PDP, APC and has finally come to the Labour party. 20 years she continued to run for office while enjoying juciy government board appointments from her friends and cronies in power. she dines and wines with the top echelon of the APC, a place where untill a few months ago she use to call home. An ardent supporter of Sen Tinubu and president Buhari it is no suprise her recent antics have come in to play.

Mrs KIngibe who turns 70 soon has refused to support the fight to reclaim the mandate of the stolen election because of her victory at the polls over Sen Aduda of the PDP. She in her first acceptance speech ignored the party, its presidential candidate and refused to acknowledge
the irregularities with the electoral process. After backlash on twitter, she proceeded to put up another one 2 days later when she tried to cover her tracks .it is rather unfortunate that people like her are the first beneficiaries of the good and hard work of ordinary Nigerians and Mr. peter Obi.

As she heads to the election petition tribunal to defend her mandate, she is part of those trying to dissuade Mr. Obi from retrieving his mandate at the court. although we do not need her support to emerge victorious it is painful that she has only been participating in photo ops with Mr. Obi but does no press conference or attended anyone that is not about herself. This is not the kind of person we need to fulfil and actualize our dream of a better Nigeria. in the last 20 years she has not contributed anything meaningful to the people of Kwara, Borno or the FCT. Her husband who is still a major supporter of president "elect" Tinubu has paid numerous visits to him before and after the election.

people like this must be weeded out before the sabotage is complete and the gnashing of teeth and wearing of sack cloth when they eventually show their true side. For someone who is already attending meetings on which APC senator to support the aspirations of becoming senate president. in the upcoming elections, obidients be wise, let us not open the door to our enemies.
Una go dey get sense small small. Even Obi would have done more than this if he had won.
Politics › Re: Facts About Ifeanyi Okowa Led Delta State Government by Misterone: 2:27pm On Mar 14, 2023
TonyeBarcanista:
By Tonye Barcanista

1. Delta State is a State in Nigeria that enjoys synergy between the Executive and Legislative arms of government. The State operates LGA and Legislative Autonomy, and is among those that passed the LGA Autonomy amendment bill

2. The Okowa administration has made progress in healthcare delivery, education, infrastructural and human capital development. The government successfully constructed over 2000km roads and 1000km drainages across the state.

3. Okowa administration did not borrow N850bn from anywhere - even the state's debt burden since creation is not up yo N300bn. Okowa only took N100bn bridging-finance facility to be paid from the N217bn FG owes Delta State. In layman's terms, the N100bn will be taken from the N217bn FG owes Delta State.

5. N10bn out of the N100bn, was spent on State and LGA pensions, while N81bn was Spent on the Koka Flyover and Interchange, Mariam Babangida Leisure Park and Film Village, and Ughelli-Asaba Dualisation and others - which have been completed except two.

6. This government spread its road and bridge projects to the Creeks and other riverside communities in Ijaw and Itsekiri lands.

7. The Okowa administration equally & successfully concessioned the Asaba Airport and Delta Line Transport Company to private investors - which has already yielded a positive result.

8. Irrespective of any sentiment, Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has done greatly with the mandates of Deltans, what Delta need is a government of continuity to consolidate on the numerous gains of Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa - this can only happen by electing Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori of #PDP.

The opposition has been campaigning on propaganda and whipping up ethnic sentiments, they have been lying to Deltans just to have access to Delta State treasury. Ironically, they are fronting someone that led thugs into the Senate Chamber to steal mace as replacement. Be wise!

rolams:
Forgery case has been settled after the 2019 election.
first of all, in an appeal, no new evidence is introduced. Therefore, based on the tribunal judgement that forgery was committed but not enough the disqualify the PDP candidate. A cross appeal was filed by the APC for the court of appeal to decide whether forgery is grade by grade as the tribunal stated.
Politics › Re: With The Evidences So Far Peter Obi Should Reclaim His Mandate Soon by Misterone: 2:08pm On Mar 13, 2023
Chimok:
With evidences assembled so far in Lagos, Rivers, Edo, Anambra, Kaduna, Akwaibom, Bayelsa, Niger, Kano and some other states its a matter of few months before the tribunal do the needful by returning Obi as the president-elect
In most of these states, Obi's votes were grossly shrunkened while Tinubu's were hugely inflated. In some of the states mentioned Obi's votes were counted for Atiku in the bid to discourage Obi from seeking justice

In Anambra for instance Obi's polled more than one million credible votes and this incidentally were experienced in other south eastern states as well
Obi polled more than 2million votes in Rivers. All these evidences are there for the tribunal to do its job and return the rightful winner of the presidential election, Mr Peter Obi.
How do these figures add up? The presidential, senatorial and HoR elections were done on the same day! So if you say Obi got 2 million votes in Rivers, how does it add up with that of other elections? You cannot have the presidential election total in a state above 2 million and corresponding elections totalling less than a million, what it means is that void votes are more than the allowed votes, which is not possible.

You haven't mentioned one thing that made those places more developed than anambra
1. The serene. 2. The workings of the city councils. There are no litters on the streets, drainage working properly, orderliness of the people. Good roads, etc 3. No Agberos on the streets. Defecation and urinating everywhere not allowed. Buildings are provided with water supply even if it is with a borehole

Apart from Lagos and Abuja which are scarcely more developed than anambra no other state is more developed than anambra state ..

Deal with it
Have you been to Kaduna, Kano, Rivers, Akwa ibom, and Cross Rivers? Even OYO, Delta and Edo is more developed than Anambra. Anambra is just a concrete jungle with no amenities. A huge slum with refuse dumps littered everywhere. Or maybe you think development is all about having 4/4 deckings everywhere. Anambra is a dump site

In Anambra, people still defecate in public, there's no pipe borne water, people still go as far as a kilometre to buy water, government officials use the roads as offices. Anambra is a dead zone. Kaduna and Kano are miles from Anambra. Even Delta state is more developed than Anambra. When you Cross the Niger bridge from Asaba into Anambra, it's like you are coming from Europe to Nigeria.

Recall that the ex-US military officer outlined what he would do if Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi won the election.

The All Progressives Congress candidate Bola Tinubu won the Nigerian presidential election on February 25, 2023, and the results were announced on March 1.

If Obi won the election, Pere had promised to return his US passport to the US government.

He also vowed to join the Nigerian army and impart some military techniques he had learned while serving in the US military.

Pere tweeted;
“If Peter Obi wins today, I would gladly return my U.S passport and then get involved with the Nigerian military, teach em a few things here and there.”

However, following the announcement of Tinubu as president-elect, the reality TV star informed fans he would no longer be leaving US for Nigeria.

“All plans to relocate back to Nigeria, ABORTED! Una good luck o.” he wrote.

That's might be a receip to avoidable chaos.

There will be more chaos if Peter obi wins the case, and they rule it off, than for Tinubu to relinquish that certificate of return.
which evidence is glaring? You think because you discover some manipulated results from polling units, then it means the election was rigged and the evidence glaring? Maybe you guys will learn one or two things from the courts. FYI, we had about 176,000 polling units. If you discover manipulated results in about a thousand, it does not mean rigging is glaring.

Ona dey waste ona time. grin In 2007, Yaradua came out openly to say that the election that brought him in as president was rigged. The Supreme court did not overturn the election, nothing happened. So if anyone thinks this election will be cancelled, that person is just deceiving him/herself. Election cases are proven polling unit by polling unit, not ward by ward or LG by LG, no. To go through a state result with the defence breathing down your neck is a herculean task. So make ona no waste ona time. The bus has left the park.
