GOTVee:
Even though I'm a born again Christian, i would like to appeal to Mr Peter Obi and Atiku to call their supporters to order. I condemn Violence and incitement in any form. We have no other country but Nigeria. Let's not burn down our country because of Elections that will still re-occur in 4yrs time. It's shameful that most religious leaders especially the Christian ones who are supposed to douse the tension in the land are all Partisan. The Muslim leaders led by the sultan appealed for calm and urged everyone to accept the result as the will of God while Pastors are inciting the masses. If we are not careful, this Obidient movement will soon metamorphose into a wild terrorist group That was how 8 years passed us by. Oga we have an inalienable right to resist injustice |

Politics › Re: APC Reconstructing Lagos Guber Election As "War" Between Igbo & Yoruba - Soyombo by Mitsurugi(m): 11:07am On Mar 06, 2023 |
Faiththatworks: Although I have made up my mind not to comment on the Election of the 25th of February again but I will make an exception today. Soyombo the real indigenes of Lagos State are very very very angry with the boastful, immature and uncouth language the Obidients have been pouring all over the media( online and offline). I was born in Lagos, had my primary and secondary education in Lagos and went to government school with the real indigenes of Lagos growing up. My secondary school education in Lagos State was in a boarding house in a far flung location, where having an ibo name automatically disqualified you from getting admission into the school. I was admitted because I had both ibo and Yoruba names. The Crux of my story is I'm in WhatsApp groups with my primary and secondary school friends and the feedback I get everyday from the group is disheartening. The indigenes of Lagos are very very angry with the loud uncouth noise of the Obidients especially those from ibo extraction. There's anger from imota to isale eko, from badagry to Epe,the people are seething with rage, even the educated ones are unleashing beastly articles about the occupation that's happening on their Homeland. The admin of my WhatsApp groups have deleted many inflammatory post in our groups to calm down nerves. Soyombo should know the mood of the real indigenes of Lagos is that of rage and anger to what they see as a hostile take over of their land. I pray Sanwo-olu wins with a landslide on Saturday, that's the only thing that can assuage the feeling of anger among those I have talked to. I will play my part by voting APC from top to bottom on Saturday. It's an error to keep calling Lagos a no man's land, there are people who call Lagos their state of origin, you must respect the feelings of these real owners of Lagos God bless Nigeria You're talking nonsense. Is GRV a Lagosian? Yes or no. |

Luukasz: This election has created a more divisive Nigerian especially between the Yorubas and Igbos, no thanks to Peter Obi and his supporters.
Igbos in Lagos you better be careful on the 11th of March, your life isn't worth sacrificing on another man's land ooo.
Use your sense, if you die for Obi.. Obi won't even know one of his supporters died.
And not just Obi, if you are supporting any Nigerian politician then you are a big fool.
Nigerian politicians are worthy of your support, you better channel that energy to bettering your life. We'll come with bigger guns idiot. Go and kill them na. |

Of course, they do not because they are damn too empty headed devoid of sense of anything meaningful and of value.
THEY ARE BUNCH OF DOUGH HEADS.
Imagine two candidates subscribers of illusions, second and third position placers laying claim to the first position.
THEY DO NOT YET KNOW HOW BAD THEIR MISADVENTURE LOOKS. So the evidence they need to support their case should be wiped off? Are you daft? |

LibertyRep: People like Joke Da Silva, Seyi Law, Eniola Badmus and other celebrities who didn't succumb to the bullying and intimidation deserve commendation.
Those who could abuse, bully, curse anyone online for their political choice are capable of doing same thing physically if given the chance.
The incidence at Lekki is unfortunate, but why close your eyes to the obvious one at Akwuzu River where bodies were clearly seen?
Lagos government even set up a panel of enquiry into the incidence and all parties represented. Guess what happened somewhere else, someone who should be questioned went to court to prevent being grilled by the panel.
I expect that the same energy deployed in dragging Lagos Govt should be directed to whoever was the Gov at Anambra when the bodies were found at Akwuzu River.
It all reek of double standard, hypocrisy and perhaps a path towards a predetermined agenda. Dude it's Ezu river. And it is the job of the police to investigate murder not the Governor. At least that is what I watch on CI on DSTV |

Lagos is the 4th largest economy in Africa even Dangote will rig the damn election in favour of Lagos State current government and maintaining the current working condition under sanwo Olu. That's first. And if you think Tinubu loosing Lagos during this last election wasn't strategic you don't have an idea of what politics really is. Triangles1: Politically religiously the north took away Kwara from the Yorubas, the same thing await them in Lagos, Igbos want to dominate and take over.
The best gift any human being can offer to a man is "peace of mind" and freedom to practice what they want, this was what Afonja gave aalimi in Ilorin and it went wrong for Afonja of Ilorin. The hospitality giving by Yorubas should not be taking for granted because the Igbos are becoming Russia Ukraine, the western world are playing some politics in the neck of Nigeria the earlier we wake up better for us. Is Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour Igbo? |

yordha: It wouldn't have mattered if they stayed in PDP, their people were determined to vote LP and they blindly voted regardless of who was on the ballot, the candidate's profile, skills and capacities don't matter to them. That's not on Wike. They are now even trying to vote one Chinedu in Lagos against an agile and outstanding performing governor Sanwo-Olu, who has proven beyond reasonable doubt to be best available option for Lagos right now. So politics has given you the audacity to slander an omoluabi of Lagos. Gbadebo is an authentic citizen of Lagos over Sanwo-Olu the foreigner for your information. It's only hunger based hypocrisy that's making your mouth run like a parrot. I will vote a true Lagosian this time around. If Sanwo-Olu is a Lagosian then Emeka. Hamza and Bature are also Lagosians. Bloody hypocrite. You urchins truly have no sense. Gbadebo has good plans for all of you. |

I checked another unit in my street and LP won by 16 votes i.e. (APC-30, LP-46, AAC-1, APGA-1, PDP-5, Total - 83).
These results are correct! Good that's 2 out of 176846 units. |

Iamgrey5: Even if a million votes were deducted from Tinubu's tally and added to yours, you will still lose the election to Tinubu.
You could only manage 25% in 16 states when you needed 25 states
I believe you want to use the emotions of your supporters as a currency to buy their loyalty till the next Elections.
ATIKU and even Buhari have been able to use the same mechanism in the past to remain relevant between election cycles.
I have always said Peter Obi is just like every politician in Nigeria, he is a very self-centered man who pretends to stand for everything and everyone but will always look after his own personal interest at the end of the day. So if you were in his shoes you'd just roll over, abi? |
