Attempted murder for were for someone that came to your apartment to attack you, assault for were, before the guy came to her apartment did she physically attack the guy,

How can u claim kidnapping when the guy in question was in his apartment.

The only thing there is illegal detention, but the question is did the guy report it to the appropriate authority such as the police.

The fact remains the girl was attacked in her apartment and she defended herself. Except there is an eye witness account who would say on siting the guy, the girl went to her kitchen brought a knife and stabbed the guy without the guy laying hands on the girl, I don't see her going to jail.

This is why we need to be careful, the fact say we fit beat person no mean say make we fight am, it only takes one wrong move to end it all.
When you hold someone somewhere against their will - no matter how little the time - that's kidnapping. The courts don't care about your emotion. I don't know where you read that it happened in her apartment. The fact that he did not report the case to the police does not mean she's immune from prosecution.
You just make shit up as you go, don't you? Have you ever been to court? If he hires a good lawyer he could make at least 2 of those charges stick and some more.

She is not going to any prison, she was attacked by the guy in her apartment, she can claim self defence,

The only thing she should pray about is if the guy is not a cultist be is if he is thee will be a blow back. Either way school done end for her be that.
Just locking him in the room is enough to send her to jail. She's not coming off that easy.
So you have attempted murder, assault and illegal detention/kidnapping.
Her prayer should be that he makes it.

She may escape with manslaughter if she has a good lawyer. The actus reus is clear but the mens rea was not meant to kill him. Except, of course, na nut case.
If I'm his lawyer I'll go for a kidnapping and attempted murder charge. It is clearly premeditated.

No, Computer Science is as much about computers as Geography is about telescopes. Don't mind the name, many departments use Computing Science instead of Computer Science.

The FG are the mojor problem btw Bsc and HND, it won't curst them anything to convert all polytechnics to universities.

That defeats the purpose of a polytechnic.

I don't understand why people see polytechnics as inferior versions of universities. A polytechnic is meant to teach technical skills, it is not meant to be a dumping ground for people who couldn't make it into a university. If you choose to go to a polytechnic, it should mean that you feel more technically inclined not that you couldn't make the cut-off mark. Their core competencies are not the same.

The polytechnics and technical colleges have derailed so much they think they are competing with BSc.
While I consider it better to give graduates a sense of direction into newer, hotter, narrow fields of CS they can realistically practice, more can still be done.

Computer and elect-elect engineering is another bastardized program in the HND space. PC technicians are even equating their ability to troubleshoot PCs to full fledged computer engineering and will gladly shame CE or EE graduates with their ability to use gmail or identify a bad RAM or install an OS.
That is because they don't understand what Computer Science is.
Computer Science is large a highly theoretical that has little to do with computers. It is the study of computation.

Polytechnics really have no business offering computer science as they lay an emphasis on applied and technical education.
You'll notice that even networking under a B.Sc Computer Science course deals mainly with understanding the TCP/IP model, protocols and how information is encoded and sent in bytes - you don't need to know all these to connect a computer to a network.

Build her up emotionally, mentally, intellectually, physically with love, respect, openness and tete-a-tete (heart to heart loving discussions). Take her to gym with you, to church with you, to social meetings with you, introduce her with joy to your clients and female friends. Let her have unlimited access to your phone and phone conversations.

Then, you and she should make God number 1, in your life.

This is the reason I dissuade men from seeking relationship with partners that have nothing going on for them. A wife or husband should be able to have a life outside of their marriage. You should have friends, hobbies and interests that don't necessarily intersect with that of your partner. When you have someone that you always have to be on the phone with or demands to physically be with you all the time, then there's a problem somewhere.

It is your duty to make your partner secure. If she doesn’t want you to go out, insist on her coming with you. When you receive calls from female clients put your phone on speaker and keep the call short and straight to business.

Give her access to your phone and the right to go through it whenever she wants. Let her be able to answer your calls if you aren’t willing or available to answer. She is suspecting you because you have given her a reason to and only you can give her a reason to trust you.

In my opinion, getting angry over a partner’s insecurity is usually proof of guilt. If you were innocent her insecurity will be cute to you.

This is an unhealthy opinion.
It is not clear that OP has made his wife doubt his fidelity in any way.
He doesn't have control over his wife's mind and I feel her insecurities probably stem from issues unrelated to the OP. It would be wrong to blame him for that.
At best OP should seek professional help through counselling for his wife or jointly through a couple therapy.

If Wike win Sim, then I can say Sim effed up.

Entertainment never came from the west. We had our unique way of entertainment. We only borrowed their technology and also, brought some improvement to ours This is one of the problem why you never value anything that is ours but seem to see the western practice as being better.

Black man's mind isn't backward. If that's the case, we shouldn't have heard of many black men who made giant strides and are recognised globally. Can you see where the issue is with your narrative? Believing anything western is okay but yours is backward.

I have been to many countries with technological advancement and yet, still see them uphold their culture with respect and value for the elders. Yet, what we have, we lose it because we want to be like the west.

Culture is just a way of life and we should start having the right thoughts about our culture. She expressed her view and she should be respected for this.
Nollywood, Hollywood. AMVCA, Academy Award. I see absolutely no relation. grin

Our entertainment industry is a direct copy of the west's, even the movies sometimes seem like cheap knock-offs.

Once again, culture is man-made it is not divine. There are a lot of terrible things that we've dropped and still a lot of terrible things we're still doing.

Culture is not perfect, so don't justify anything by saying "culture". It is also not static.

Mom007:

You want to marry a wife in court without marrying her first traditionally? Are you a thief? That is how you young people always incur curses on yourselves while thinking you are smart. I am all for jettisoning white weddings... its a waste of funds in my opinion but go and settle her family and village as tradition requires and stop playing with deep things. Even the bible says give cesear's due to cesear and God's dues to God.
Dear ladies, avoid baby mama fever and avoid any man who tries to marry you in court without going to settle your family! He is a thief and a thief's lot will befall him and you too, eventually! Let who has ears, hear.

Settle her family. Na goat you dy buy? grin

What makes you think that the bride price will not be paid if you do a court wedding?

All these customs and traditions are man-made but we prefer to force unbearable burdens on people all in the name culture. Those that eloped with their brides, are they no longer living or has their union not been blessed with children?

I personally believe that all you need to do is to ask for my daughters hand in marriage, if she want's to marry you, I go ahead and give my blessings. You don't need to pay one dime. Life is that simple.

Culture has nothing to do with politics. This is just the usual style of connecting everything to the situation of the country. When has respect for elders stopped the youth from coming out to contest in an election? Or have we not seen some youths who also messed up in politics? Does this have anything to do with culture?

It's time we go back to our values and unique culture and create a sane society. It's the disrespect and disregard for our culture that has led to moral decadence in the society and no headway anymore.

Did I talk about politics? If you interpreted my post that way, then you are to blame. What I was referring to is how I've seen a lot of older people misbehaving but are given leeway because the are "elders" and I'm not even talking about politics.

You speak of culture as if Nigeria's is homogenous. You've forgotten that what is acceptable in certain parts is completely frowned upon in other parts.

This lady is in entertainment and so she should expect to be referred to by her name. Your fans will not call you Madam or Ma or Mrs. That is all balderdash.

Wasn't the entertainment industry copied from the west, do you see them going about calling there actors Ma, Sir and all?

The black man's mind is so backward and we grasp at very foolish issues and make them seem important.

When you lose your culture and morals, you end up with words as yours.

She has said nothing wrong. We are gradually losing our culture to copy western practice whereas some of these westerners are gradually imbibing our culture. Respect and values are key.
Of what use is culture if it doesn't bring progress. We should have continued the killing of twins and child marriages since they were part of our culture.

State that it's a preference and be done with it but don't come and hide behind culture. Is culture divine, isn't it man-made?

I think too much respect (or reverence) for elders is why we are in such a mess in this country. You see old people misbehaving and you look the other way because they are old.

I don't think there's anything wrong with referring to a person by their name but if it's their preference that I don't, fine. It isn't a dearth of respect on my part.

Shaffy Bello, a wonderful actress. I enjoy her movies.

The "age is just a number" crew will soon arrive in 3, 2, 1...

Anyways, since youngies make money at an early age these days, and the parents that are supposed to mentor them, look up to them for handouts, the resultant effect will be truancy.

Also, when a young girl start riding her father's age mates and/or her elder brother's age mates d!cks, they begin to feel fly.

If a gal is riding a 60 years old Senator like Yamaha power bike, she'll begin to see those at that age range as her mate and also equate herself to a Senator.

Do you know the meaning of the word "truant"?

please how gan i test the actual watt of solar panel

The most reliable way to get an accurate reading is to measure the current with a multimeter and multiplying that by the measured voltage.
But make sure the multimeter you are using is rated for the short-circuit current on the solar panel and don't keep it connected for too long. You also have to select the appropriate range if you're not using an auto-ranging meter.

Using a charge controller (pwm or mppt) might not give you the actual power that your panel can output. There is also a dedicated tool for measuring this.

Fixed!!!
@ositadima1
It is the solvent that moves not the solute. It diffuses from an area of lower concentration solution (higher concentration of water) to an area of higher concentration solution(lower concentration of water) until both solutions are isotonic.

Higher concentration here means a higher solute concentration and lower concentration means inversely the same.
