emmanuelewumi:Thanks for replying. It was a really nice surprise indeed. 59 Kobo is 17% DY for me, at per with my Zenith. I'm rolling it back when the price falls hopefully later in the year. I bought at N3.43 several months ago when you mentioned it. Thanks for opening our eyes. May the Lord bless and continue to keep you . 3 Likes 1 Share |

emmanuelewumi:@emmanuelewumi please, can you confirm how much dividend UPDC REIT paid yesterday. My calculations came up with 59 Kobo or 65.5 Kobo per share (taking 10% tax into consideration). I need to be sure. |

oluwaleokey:Frugality cannot standalone. You shouldn't be frugal just for the sake of being frugal. It must be towards an end. Your level of the practice of frugality is determined by your financial/investment plan and projections, the stage you are on those plans as well as your type of business/occupation. Depending on how you get money, you should have a percentage or amount set aside at regular intervals to invest towards growing your net worth. Once you've met this target for that period, you can decide to be less frugal with the excess money after meeting your basic needs and responsibilities. The rate of accumulation of wealth is directly proportional to how much of your income you are able to invest periodically. Take for instance a vehicle purchase. Buying a 1.5M tokunbo car may "eat into" Mr. A's investment capital while it will enhance Mr B's status and help him to do better business The said Mr A could decide to wait for a year or two during which the 1.5M has aided the growth of his investment and be in a financial position to buy a more expensive car without disrupting his financial plan. It's easy to be thrift once you get rid of negative/unsupportive social influence. If you want to succeed financially, you must learn not to "send" anybody or greatly reduce the number of people you "send" 26 Likes 3 Shares |

oceanized25:-If the book is at least a few thousand words, you can add table of contents. You don't have to call them chapters. Just write each topic line by line in the TOC. E.g. Introduction First Step Second Step etc -Your smartphone can work but it's going to be tedious and difficult to spot errors. -About the author is not necessary. 3 Likes 1 Share |

jefy:Pen names have nothing to do with the name in your account (your real names). Pens names are strickly for your books. A pen name is just a way to give buyers of the book the kind of author name they expect for the type of book you have created. It's also a sensible approach when you have books on different unrelated topics. Amazon and other publishing platforms deal with your real person when it comes to account issues, payments etc. But they know you are the one behind those pen names. 1 Like |

HeliosHay:Good day HeliosHay Two of the several beneficiaries of this thread called my attention to your recently reinforced and incessant push to sell your mentorship and other services on this thread. I can see you have been answering questions and providing some useful information. I also have seen that you have answers to any question or challenge thrown at you about the sincerity of your intentions (by people who suspect that you are a scammer). However, you have continuously littered almost every page of this thread From February 11th, practically begging people to pay for your mentorship and other services. The purpose of starting this thread, started in 2013, was not to make money. It was is to reveal what I discovered about KDP which later evolved to online publishing and build a community of successful Nigerian online publishers. The one on training and DVD of publishing materials that people pay me for started after many people requested that I make them available and they will pay. I have not and will not advertise these or any services. It takes a lot of my time and is a great distraction to the increasing targets of my publishing business. Many people have had great financial growth through this thread (I am talking of substantial regular monthly income, cars bought and houses built). Some of them did not even pay me or any other person one kobo. We want to maintain the spirit of this thread by keeping it non-commercial. Please, take your mentorship and other services to your own thread, build your followership and get the “customers” you seem to be in dire need of. We don’t want it here. Stop littering this thread with your adverts for mentorship and other services. I believe if you truly are making the amount of money shown on the screenshots you posted; you will not be here begging people night and day to pay for your mentorship. I had to double the fee for my one-on-one training to discourage people from coming because of the burden of providing support for the large community of people that I have trained. I stopped commenting on this thread regularly because I saw that we now have a good number of people capable of providing answers to the questions of new entrants into the business although I still answer all requests through email. It’s unfortunate that you see it as an opportunity to make money. Again, take your mentorship and other services to your own thread, build your followership and get the “customers” you seem to be in dire need of. We don’t want it here. Stop littering this thread with your adverts for mentorship and other services. Thank you. Mk82 40 Likes |
