Good morning to you my bro. What Ojukwu saw in 1960's, Orkar realized in 1990's is what you're now seeing in 2017? No Wahala sha.
No. I've known this since I was a child.

It is not me who is just now awakening.

But I'm glad that others are waking up.

Let us banish the real problem instead of attacking each other over petty reasons.

The rest of us know that child marriage is wrong - but not in Sokoto.

The rest of us know that a child needs to be fed, educated and nurtured - but not in Kano where they think it's okay to throw a child on the street to beg.

NOBODY wants to be anchored with the core North.

NO ONE.

Why would they? What do you get from Sokoto, Borno, Katsina and the other useless emirates in the North besides senseless terrorism (whether that be Boko Haram or Fulani herdsmen), child marriage, awful leadership, poverty and gross stupidity?

And that is why I keep insisting that the solution is not for the Igbos to leave but for the rest of Nigeria to come together and push the core North out of the union. They are a cancer on not just Nigeria but west Africa at large.

European? Did you not see Arthur Koestler and Shlomo Sand both Jews there? Shey I said you have problems with comprehension.

I understand that history is not a one sided affair. I understand that there's always an alternative side to the dominant view. But I guess you don't see things that way.

Don't project your own internalised mentality of hatred on me. That's a skill manipulative people use. I am adept at parrying such juvenile twistedness. Tell them 'come, look at this other side, it might be different from what you think and assume' they quickly start yapping 'he hates us, he hates us'. How childish!

Audi alterem partem - listen to the other side is an ancient legal dictum. I only invited you to investigate the other side and draw your inference.
Arthur Koestler was Hungarian you dolt.

Shlomo Sand was born in Austria. His parents were Polish.

Those are Europeans. Your anti-Semitism doesn't allow you to understand geography, apparently.

What alternative are you talking? We're talking about Biafra and you're still talking nonsense about Jews after I told you that there is no comparison.

Scapegoats and nationhood. Understand that
You posted some European anti-Semitic nonsense to justify your hatred of Igbos.

It is you who has a poor grasp of comprehension (and history) which is you cannot see who the real problem in all this is.

Because the manipulative child always plays the victim to mask his manipulations.
Because like the Jews they have perfected the art of victimorology and it works like a charm.

Have you read beyond what you've always repeatedly heard and read and regard as the infallible truth?

Do you know how the modern nation of Isreal came to be founded, the real aims of the two world wars? Do you understand the import of zionism?
scapegoats? Heck! From the exodus to the holocaust - do you your research, you will be shocked. Don't just mouth historical platitudes, many of which have been proven to be outrightly false or at best a heartless mixtures of truth and lies. Penetrate the meaning of the book of Esther, read about the link between purim and the Nuremberg trials

Presently I am reading the 'Invention of the Jewish people' by Shlomo Sand (Jewish Historian) and I can give you scores of other books to read and topics to research on if you want to escape the danger of a single story
'The Controversy of Zion' by Douglas Reed
(that's why I laugh when I hear some Igbos say that they are Jews - I ask, which of the Jews, the Ashkenazi Jews or the Sephardic Jews?). Read the 'Thirteenth Tribe' by Arthur Koestler (a Jew), The International Jew by Henry Ford(founder of Ford motors)

The Jew cries out in pain as he strikes you- Polish proverb
Nb: I am only calling your attention to the fact that there's another side to the stories you have heard and that side too deserves a hearing. Only then can you draw your conclusions whichever way.

There's no comparison between Jews and Igbos, that's a lazy assessment.

Only fools claim such.

There's more to Igbos wanting their own nation than the Jewish nonsense.

He said that because the government is of northern extraction that is why there are issues - but if Buhari's government was moving the nation forward would there be so many people complaining?

The fact that he has such a lopsided system of appointment doesn't help but what makes it worse is that they are so ineffectual.

And as I have said already in this thread - I am not Igbo but I understand why some of them are agitating for their own nation.

If you want to know what I mean by uselessness of the north - look at the various indices. Look at education stats; poverty; maternal death; literacy; marriage age and it will very quickly become clear what I mean.

You said it.

It's designed to keep the poor, very poor.

And ensure that the wealthy can buy their daughters and rape them when they feel like it.

Use their sons as vessels for Jihad (violence).

Fill the minds of the young with tales of theft, robbery, rape and murder and claim that such is moral.

Fill young minds with fairy-tales instead of mathematics and science or anything that can be proven.

Fill young minds with Arabic instead of the lingua franca of the country.

Tell Africans that they should aspire to go to Mecca so that they can waste their hard earned money on camping in the desert, throwing rocks at a building and being treated with no regard by the useless Saudis. And when Saudi incompetence raises its head to the fore, expect to be blamed for their failings.

Islam also impedes any productivity by interfering with the workday every few hours so that any meaningful exercise must cease so as to scrape your forehead on the ground.

Pure stupidity.

Jews didn't entirely leave Europe and many that did when to America where they also face anti-Semitic sentiment.

Yes, I do.

Not as much as I blame those who were deceived into believing that Buhari was a messiah but he seemed too eager to take credit for things that were not necessarily his own achievements.

There are other countries with same advantages, that are very much older than America. Did they attain the level of success America did.
While I understand we could learn from America's success, the fact that we didn't makes us give kudos to those who got it right.
E.g I sincerely believed Fashola when he said any reasonable government will fix it power problems in six months, I was elated when his party soon and he was made a 'super minister'. Two years down the line, we are still where we are.
Don't blame anyone when they rever people who got it right
Fashola was clearly a man who was largely talk. He has since been exposed by his successor at state level and his own ineptitude in his current position.

People who thought he was believable in his statements display(ed) poor judgment, which is why such people are prone to hero worship and deification of those who show themselves capable of the most mundane human feats of organization and execution.

They have leveraged slave labor and a military industrial system to take from others.

They're also several hundred years older than Nigeria.

There's a host of other reason but like I said, it's stupid to put them on a pedestal.

Learn from they've done, learn from where they've gone wrong and chart a new path for yourselves. Star gazing doesn't get anyone anywhere and for whatever reason Africans seem very keen to make deities out of any and everything.
