IamPatriotic:She didn't need to take the job. She's just as culpable as the useless Buhari, he himself is in over his head. |
MadCow1:He's already failing you. The economy is contracting. Dude made promises in 2015 that he hasn't come close to fulfilling. What happened to the N1 to $1 that that he promised? What happened to the N5,000 that he promised? Why are the Northerners that he was so concerned about previously starving to death in IDP camps? Why is nothing being done about the people who have been entrusted with food that was meant for Northern refugees but has been sold by Northern government officials? |
kingphilip:If they were serious about their jobs then they would hire the desired speakers to come to Abuja. Because they know that many Nigerians will take the N2000 hand outs that they give when out in public and keep quiet is the reason why they behave like this. |
I blame Nigerian citizens for the stupid leaders that they have. If these people feared for their safety when they did wrong they wouldn't be so quick to abuse their position. They need to be reminded that they are public servants not dictatorial monarchs. Until Nigerians remind these fools what they are and what their purpose is they will keep doing nonsense like this. The governor of Zamfara (of all places) shouldn't even be allowed to leave his state. |
Nigeria is 170 million and growing. We don't need more children, especially at the rate that Nigeria has been growing. If it's that important for the OP to raise children then adopt a child. There are plenty to choose from. |
rottennaija:The government has said that they cannot fund the majority of budget that they laid out this year. The padded budget that was signed by the incorruptible one. And this project was done by the previous administration. Amaechi is simply taking credit for another man's labor. |
Useless tout. |
Obynolee:The father raised the son, if the son is irrational it's probably because the father is too. You can put distance between yourself and your son without telling the whole world. This was unnecessary. |
Five years from now they will make-up and regret this whole mess. |
ENDTIMEISNEAR:It's a good move. Pavements are for pedestrians not small, unsanitary market stalls. I was worried when this man started and there seemed to be an insecurity issue brewing but he's been hard at work ever since. |
taylor88:You know why. Those images from the IDP camps would become the norm all over the North. They claim to farm, to feed the nation but we can see that is a lie. They scrape their heads on carpets facing Mecca and impregnate children and call it marriage. I don't expect such people to shout 'Araba' any time soon. There's nothing in an independent future for the North besides poverty and more insecurity. |
Checked86:The FG can't pay salaries either. The FG hasn't dealt with insecurity and now can't deal with the roads. At least the good states take care of their roads. Until Nigeria stops relying on the resources of 9 states to subsidize the other 27 this nonsense will keep happening. Sai Baba, now you can all see what I was saying two years ago - this man is not fit to run a bath. |
Bolustic:It isn't about GEJ but it is about the current clueless administration. In the past state governments would work on FG roads in the knowledge that they would be reimbursed. The states know that they will not be reimbursed by this administration, especially when there are noises that the FG cannot even fulfil its contractual obligations with its own direct employees. The FG wants to divest itself of responsibility but doesn't want to hand resource control to productive states - does that make sense to you? |
Looks like a gathering of touts. |
Love Machine:You solve corruption by recording transactions and automating that which should be automated. Don't give people cash when a transfer between bank accounts is all that is needed to make the necessary payments. And corrupt officials are very prominent in this current administration. Not only are they corrupt but men such as Buhari, Amaechi and Fashola are incompetent. |
Subtlelad:She is not 18, the cake says 'another 18th birthday'. |
Subtlelad:It's a fake 18 - women and their age lies. Look at the cake picture, they admit as much. |
steve308:The previous administration is not the reason why the current administration failed to appoint ministers for six months; or why they failed to announce a fiscal policy to businesses for almost a year or why they have a failed currency policy that they keep pursuing that is strangling business. You have fallen for the scam. They told you Lies and you believed all of them. The facts are that Nigeria's economy expanded during the previous administration. Who is this 'Alex' that you speak of and how do they compare to the current petroleum minister General Buhari? |
Why has this been posted on Nairaland and why is it on the front page? |
steve308:Nigeria's economy had expanded under the previous administration and they had a team to push Nigeria forward, this current administration is as bad as any Nigeria has had. The only hope I have now is for further weakening of the Federal Government, regional governments and full resource control. |
steve308:'Change' is not a strategy, that is a lazy catch-word for simple minded people. They didn't have a strategy, those paying attention were aware of this fact. They came with lies such as $1 to N1, N5,000 for the poor, millions of jobs, diversification of the economy. Only the foolish amongst us fell for the lies. |
steve308:You mean the wicked administration that they voted for? |
If the Northerners are so happy together why don't they form their own country and leave the rest of us alone? |
The problem isn't religious. The problem is that in the North their leaders are imposed on them. Neither their traditional nor elected officials are chosen by the people as a result they are not beholden or accountable to the people. Those officials then go on to squander money meant for the betterment of the people on luxury to maintain the image of power, all whilst doing nothing. This is why there are senseless religious riots in the North and organizations such as Boko Haram and IMN who do nothing to foster an environment of congeniality or progress. I wish Nigeria would partition so that the trouble makers would be made to fester alone in the mess that they have created. |
Jorussia:How are they different? How has Buhari done as elected President? Is he any better now than he was in the 1980s? |
validman7:Fernando Santos (the manager of the Portuguese national team) is Portuguese. |
Waste of money. And where did David Mark get the money to buy these men vehicles? And what happened to being 'Christ-like'? |
Pinnick should resign and take all the idiots with him. It's bad enough that they insist on playing in Kaduna where the ground isn't big enough; the pitch not good enough; the fans unruly and where the players keep falling ill. He can't put together a team of people who can do simple things - pay coaches on time; release accurate information to the press. The man is incompetent. The NFF under him has been a disgrace. They had a great coach in Stephen Keshi who they did not appreciate, at all. Instead, even after he won a title they were talking nonsense about hiring a foreigner to act as technical advisor. How were they planning on paying a technical advisor when they couldn't pay Keshi on time? Why would any foreign coach or manager work for free? Why did Keshi even need a foreign technical advisor? Then to compound their error, they fire Keshi and hire a known trouble maker in Oliseh who immediately ostracises Enyeama - one of Nigeria's most committed players and the best goal keeper that the country has ever produced. |
Paul Le Guen is not the solution to Nigerian football's problems. The problem is the NFF. Any organization that ignores the stadium in Abuja; the stadium in Uyo and the stadium in Port Hartcourt to play in Kaduna is unfit to manage anything. They also erred in not treating Keshi with the requisite respect; hiring Oliseh and refusing to pay either on time or at all. |
Why would anyone in Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Rivers, Bayelsa or Delta vote for APC? |
Graduating from university is great but why are we not more concerned at the amount of money that we waste on educating Nigerians abroad? Especially the government officials who use government money by way of 'scholarships' to send their children to school abroad for 'free'. |
