Anyone who felt compelled to vote for Buhari is irresponsible and foolish. |
This guy is the most useless leader in the history of mankind. When is he going to propose solutions to these problems that he speaks of? He wanted the job and was willing to incite violence to get it in 2011. Now he has it, he's floundering worse than a three year old paraplegic in the ocean. He spends all of his time talking about a) Oil b) GEJ/PDP. Why does he not discuss how his economic policy has sucked so much liquidity out of the economy? |
I hope that they find oil. Although I find it disturbing that they think that oil is the only source of wealth. Why can they not use their other resources and call for a split? |
Wow, people are still blaming GEJ for 18 months of mismanagement. Buhari is a disaster, as he was first time. I truly hope for the sake of the nation that he does not awaken tomorrow. This level of incompetence is too much. |
seguno2:Private developers build homes linked to the main drainage systems all the time and if the people have not received planning permissions for their unstable shacks then why would the government build for them? |
Northern Nigeria is truly the pride of Africa. Polio, in 2016... |
jossiwan:Where would you land a helicopter in Ajegunle or Makoko? The reason why slums are considered slums is because the residents build without due consideration for anything beyond their own base needs. No regard for drainage, traffic or sanitation, then those same people cry about 'government' when things go wrong. |
Hopefully the Lagos state government has a plan to deal with this area similar to the one that they have for Oshodi. |
PaulIdu:Searching for lithium to build batteries to store solar power. We hear nothing about solar farms in the North, still talking about fossil fuels and currency restrictions in 2016. |
There was an economic policy vacuum for almost an entire year thanks to the clueless one. No cabinet for 7 months. Still no clear economic policy. Everything that these APC idiots have been calling for has been tried in Venezuela and lead to economic collapse. And people keep telling us that Bubu the Fool knows what he is doing. I hope those same people hire Buhari to manage their businesses or households after his tenure so that they can see close up how stupid they are. |
Joel3:You will need to build more than one because people need to cross at different points. You cannot expect or assume that everyone will use the exact same route. It isn't 'lack of planning' it's about providing options. This is the same illogical nonsense I hear when people rail against the Fourth Mainland bridge. |
Joel3:They are building more pedestrian bridges and they will have to build more if the population expands. That is the case in every city in the world. Your nonsense about the African and the European is predicated on ignorance. |
Iyoma2:My grandfather is 92 and looks healthier than Bola Tinubu. |
Sunofgod:He always looks ill. |
All this man does is tell use what we already know - when is he going to propose solutions? And why is government intervention the solution to an unprofitable industry? |
dockokwus:How can you say that GEJ's government ran the economy into the ground when the economy was growing, recognized as the best nation to invest in in Africa and became the largest economy on the continent? |
This is how you idiots believe everything these moronic oyinbos come out with. Dude didn't even have the sense to check his figures, just running his mouth like Sanusi when he said that 49 billion was missing. |
Averted:Why should he fight for people who can't tell their left from their right? He warned the voters pre-election that there was a choice to be made between progress and the old ways of the dark past. They made their decision, let them stew in the mess that they created. |
SamuelAnyawu:LOL |
FFKfuckedBIANCA:Why do you keep stressing 'Yoruba West'? Is there a 'Yoruba East'? |
You idiots voted for this fool. That he had no economic policy was clear during his pre-election campaign. I hope you enjoy the Buhari era. Mumu people. |
mynduu44:What does Boko Haram have to do with the Brazilian armed forces? |
Where are the woman who are always crying about 'domestic violence'? I hope that they are going to protest about this behavior too? |
andobi1:You need a good geologist to do soil analysis to tell you where best to build the road. If this road keeps falling apart then maybe they need to find another route to build the road between Uyo and Calabar. |
Why do they keep repatching a road that will fall into disrepair come next rainy season? I hope they consult geologists so that they can build a road that will last rather than this road that is the worst in both AKS and CRS. |
Pennywise:My last sentence is where I said that I hope that those who are guilty are made to pay. But even then is Akapabio the one to go after? At least he put infrastructure in place, if you'd been to AKS you would know why people have respect for what he did. The roads are the best in the country, covering the entire state. The airport is orderly and clean. The stadium is genuinely world class, unlike the hovel that Nigeria disgraced themselves in when they stupidly played in Kaduna. And so far no one has been found guilty of anything. Why is he the target and not someone like Tinubu who looted so much that Lagos state had to put a toll road where state funds when state funds had been allocated for the Lekki Expressway? Why not deal with Amaechi and his vanishing hospital? Or his monorail that was built without foresight, besides being a vessel for corruption? Sunlight is the greatest disinfectant, as they say. If Nigeria is serious about battling corruption then you need to make transparency a necessity. This comes from the top and entails public officials making their assets known to the public, at all times. Allowing the public to see how much the state has in its coffers and how much it has spent and on what. Also, it's not true that without federal allocation that Akwa Ibom is dead. Clearly you are unaware of what the state government has been doing, with agriculture and tourism. The state is set to make as much from palm oil as it makes from crude. Besides, the 'federal allocation' is derived from the natural resources of the state - if Nigeria were a proper federation they would earn a lot more from the resource that is rightfully theirs. You are not talking about Katsina here that produces nothing and exists on the resources of another state. |
olowo72:He more than tried, he actually did. He didn't just make promises, allocate funds and then have nothing happen like that man in Edo state who has done nothing. A good platform has been put in place for the people of AKS to prosper. But I still hope that anyone/everyone who stole or unjustly enriched themselves whilst in public office is made to return said money. |
On the one hand there's ample evidence that suggests that he enriched himself while in public office. On the other hand he was very busy as governor and performed better than most (if not all of his peers). Make him return which does not belong to him but I also hope that Amaechi is looked into with the same level of scrutiny. |
abdul4new:Why does she need to get herself a husband when she appears to be doing what she loves? Nigeria needs entrepreneurs more than it needs housewives or more children. This woman is doing the right thing. |
Religion is nonsense but this is logical: The statement of the President is that he has not even opened the report of the National Conference. How can you conclude that a document is not good when you have not seen the content? Someone occupying such a position who is looking for the best solution to move us forward will not have that type of bias. You can’t condemn what you don’t know about. |
I have no problem with states being made to open their books, all of them should as a matter of form. My question is why a state like Rivers where money has clearly been squandered on nonsense has not been made to open its books? Why Edo where money has been squandered has not been made to open its books? Imo state is clean abi? I know people will say very different. And of course the Northern states are all fine, that is why they are developing at such a fabulous rate, eradicating poverty and illiteracy in one fell swoop. Oh wait, that isn't happening. So where's the money? What does Katsina do to generate income? How does it spend its allocation? If Nigeria is going to have a real war against corruption you first need to conduct a credible census, then make all government officials open their personal accounts for inspection - anyone caught hiding assets should be deemed guilty. |
agbonkamen:Some of you deserve the insults. Especially those of you who carry Bible and chase money at the same time. |
