One of Nigeria's most decorated male pageant 'Mister model Nigeria', is looking to crown their next winners who would represent the country in various international competitions.


The competition otherwise known as 'Misters of Nigeria' brings people from all over the country on one stage to compete for the ultimate title.

This year's edition had over 400 enthusiast young men vying for the prestigious title. As usual, the pageant screen contestants based on their physical and intellectual prowess. Some of the test include; their creativity, eloquence, physique and overall IQ level.

The lucky 40 Semi-Finalists who made it to the the next stage were further screened by the management and some pageant veterans and ex title holders including Most beautiful girl in Nigeria world Anita Uka, Miss grand Nigeria Princess Agunbiade, Samantha Ubani , Ada Imo Isabella okafor amongst others.

At the end, 25 contestants made it to the next round and were published on the official Instagram handle of Mister Model Nigeria, leaving the contesting Kings in tension.

The emerged TOP 25 Models are listed in no particular order: Sochima Emmanuel, Emmanuel Etim, Marcel Soludo, Levis Livinus Osakweye, Lam Chris, Clinton Nnaji, David Ibangah, Omoh Oshos, Emmanuel Igwe, Elkanah Sohnan Enviss, Kelvin Nnaji, Lawal Ademola, Collins Uzoukwu, Obidi Christian, Lanre Oluyemi Olarenwaju, David Ginger Eke, Peter Edokpaibe, Moses Akinwunmi, Prosper Ikechuwku, Hilary Ubongabasi, David Michael, Miracle Chuwku, Chrisdiamond Uchechi, Julius Spencer, George A. Joseph.

With the grandfinale holding later this year, the contestants will continue to be assessed in a bid to pick the best delegate that will represent Nigeria at the 2021 edition of 'Mister Model International' while the runner-ups get an international placement amongst other benefits.

The last winner of the pageant, Emmanuel Somto won the Continental title for Africa during the international competition and he is waiting in line to welcome his successor.

Queen Edidiong Umoh, the newly Crowned Miss Next Rated International Model 2020 releases stunning New Year photos to celebrate the new year and reveal her plans for the 1year pageant platform.

The Lagos based fast rising International Model hails from Ibiono Ibom in Akwa Ibom State. Although the young and intelligent Queen holds a BSc. Degree in Pure Chemistry from the University of Calabar, her passion and natural talent for modeling has brought her many opportunities in the industry.

Former Nigerian beauty queen, Ruby Uche Flaunts her new birthday car gift as she marks her 21st birthday today.

Ruby was crowned at the 2017 edition of Queen of Aso beauty pageant held in Abuja. The young Imo state beauty queen who added a year older today is also the CEO of Ruby's Signature.

She took to her Instagram page to share the photo of her new car alongside her birthday photos.

The successful model is one of the few beauty queens that championed several humanitarian projects during their reign.

In its efforts to lessen the hardship being experienced by Nigerians as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic,Learning and life aid foundation ( LALA ), a non-governmental organization recently launched a sensitization and advocacy program, at Oyobu clan in Opokuma ( KOLGA) Bayelsa State. Where representatives of about a hundred families were sufficiently and necessarily educated in izon language on Covid-19 pandemic. 

In addition, palliatives of a large tuber of yam, a carton of noodles, a bag of rice, face masks and hand sanitizers were distributed. 

Lilian Alaere Ebifegha, the founder of the Foundation, and an illustrious daughter of the community, said the gesture was necessary to support the efforts of the state and federal government in cushioning the socio-economic effects of the pandemic.

"The effect of COVID-19 is greatly felt in all corners of the world. The novel virus has brought untold hardship to the people of the community in particular, especially the elderly ones as well as widows and orphans.

Our mission is to assist in every possible ways while also calling on the government and well-meaning Nigerians to key into the vision of the foundation which is, 'Advancing world peace, as well as well-being at all levels - individual, family, tribal, national, and world." she added. 


Speaking to newsmen present, one of the board member of the Foundation, Mr Alfred Okubo explained that data of all households in the community had been collected earlier, to guide the foundation in its assignment. He further assured that continuous efforts will be made to ensure the community gets assistance from the foundation. 


The feedback from participants revealed that the desired overall aim for the communication campaign was achieved. This is premised on the absolute satisfaction they expressed. 

In appreciation, an elder who represented the community thanked the foundation for their consistent demonstration of love for the people, and for the zeal and sacrifice with which they executed the charity campaign.


The founder of the NGO, Lilian Alaere Ebifegha during her final speech acknowledged the efforts from members of the Foundation who assisted in the distribution of the palliatives. She expressed further gratitude to the board members Mrs Gabrielle Cherechi Egerue and Ugochukwu Dimpka for their prime support towards executing the project.

Angola super Model, Maria Borges have joined other international figure and philanthropist who have raised support for the healthcare workers combating the novel coronavirus.

In a charity project organised in conjunction with Aflik TV, the model, through her foundation "One Touch Charity" donated food items and other relief materials to staffs of Bellevue hospital in lower Manhattan, New York.

The Associate Director of Critical Care and Surgery who received the items from the organisation expressed his full delightedness and also appreciated the group for carrying out such kind gestures especially at this trying time, he said: “Wow, this great!. Thank you so much for doing this. The staff will appreciate these items. May you continue to be blessed.”

Maria Borge​s, also added, “I cannot live without giving back, it’s just part of me. Joining Aflik TV to raise funds for front line workers was a must. I want to specially thank all those who contributed and also encourage more fans to key into this project.”
