I don't like what I am hearing. |
Marhyaam:All good alhamdulliah. How about you? |

Sis I am not sure what you mean. Whether a man follows or refuses to follow religious obligation shouldn't affect the woman's obligation towards her Lord. What that means is, regardless what the husband wants, if it involves disobeying Allah then it shouldn't be obeyed. The prophet (peace and blessing be upon him) mentioned that there is no obedience if it involves disobeying Allah. If the husband wants her to wear khimar and cover up, she should obey him and she can advise him to fulfill his own obligations (if he is falling short in that regards). If he is preventing her from fulfilling her religious obligations, she shouldn't obey him and may demand a divorce. It is wrong for a man to be admiring women in fitted dresses, what he should be doing is lower his gaze. Domestic violence is bad and wrong. |
Damsel21:Salam alaykum sis. Eid Mubarak! Regarding the pics- except maybe the last one, the hijab do not fulfill the requirements of a proper hijab. The whole idea of hijab is to prevent display of beauty to non mahrams. It's not just a headscarf. There are a number of faults with the pics: 1) Clothes are tight fitting (showing the body shape, I am not just talking about the waist but arms, chest etc). 2) The headscarf do not cover the chest 3) Feet aren't covered 4) Arms aren't covered 5) Display of beauty (make up) |
It was narrated that ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said that ‘Umar took a brocade cloak that was for sale in the market and brought it to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), and said, “O Messenger of Allaah, buy this and adorn yourself with it for Eid and for receiving the delegations.” The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him, “Rather this is the dress of one who has no share (of piety or of reward in the Hereafter)…” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 948. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) agreed with ‘Umar on the idea of adorning oneself for Eid, but he denounced him for choosing this cloak because it was made of silk. It was narrated that Jaabir (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) had a cloak which he would wear on the two Eids and on Fridays. Saheeh Ibn Khuzaymah, 1756, Al-Bayhaqi narrated with a saheeh isnaad that Ibn ‘Umar used to wear his best clothes on Eid. So a man should wear the best clothes that he has when going out for Eid. With regard to women, they should avoid adorning themselves when they go out for Eid, because they are forbidden to show off their adornments to non-mahram men. It is also haraam for a woman who wants to go out to put on perfume or to expose men to temptation, because they are only going out for the purpose of worship. *Let's also not forget the Takbeer today |
Eid Mubarak Taqabbala Allaah minna wa minkum. May Allaah accept it (good deeds) from us and from you. |

By Bashir Adefaka Sunday June 25 equivalent of Shawwal 1 is Sallah, Sultan of Sokoto and President-General Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar III, has said. The Sultan of Sokoto Declaring the new moon Saturday night at his Palace in Sokoto, Alhaji Abubakar said the new moon was sighted in parts of the country including Borno, Yobe and Adamawa. He therefore asked Muslims all over Nigeria to cease to fast as it is not permitted to fast on Sallah day. The Sultan congratulated the Muslims for successful completion of the monthlong fasting period and urged them to keep alive the lessons if Ramadan even after fasting is over. Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, and other Arab countries announced on Saturday that Sunday will be the first day of Eid al-Fitr 1438. Oman, however, has not sighted the moon, and thus declared Monday June 26 as the first day of Eid al-Fitr. According to Bangladesh, Pakistan, India will be sighting the moon on Sunday. These countries started Ramadan on May 28 and so Sunday will be the 29th of Ramadan for them. Eid al-Fitr, which means “festival of breaking the fast”, marks the end of the Muslim holy fasting month of Ramadan. Turkey and Muslim communities in North America, Europe and Australia had previously announced they would celebrate Eid al-Fitr from Sunday June 25 based on astronomical calculations. Eid al-Fitr is is an official holiday in all Muslim-majority countries Source: http://www.vanguardngr.com/2017/06/breaking-sultan-declares-end-ramadan-sunday-unday-eid-el-fitr-day/ Eid Mubarak to my brothers and sisters.

Jazakallahu Khyran for the update. I was starting to wonder. |

I hope there is credible proof to present to the world that the Qatari government is supporting Isis and terrorist groups (Muslim Brotherhood isn't considered one and Hamas isn't considered one either) and not just media reports. Perhaps, people will stop being mystified then. No good will come from bullying a country. It does not make senses to ask a country to close it base with Turkey. Over what threats exactly? I was going to post a report from a UK based newspaper published six days ago but since you are requesting 'credible' evidences. A Saudi delegation vising Israel last year wouldn't be one because there are no official announcements, pictures, dates or documents which would have made it credible. |
May Allah preserve the emir of Qatar upon goodness and strengthen him. Ameen. May Allah reward our brothers who have provided us with food, medication and made life normal for us. Ameen. May Allah compensate the bedouins and others whose livilihood has been jepordized as a result. Ameen May Allah preserve the Saudi crown prince upon goodness. Ameen. May Allah expose the hypocrites and unite the Muslims upon goodness. Ameen. |
SMH. May Allah rectify our condition. Ameen. I wonder what the average Yemeni thinks about the war. I was one of those who supported the Saudis because I felt the houthis were stubborn and needed to be put in their place. I called my Palestinian friend who has relatives in Gaza and she strongly opposed war. I honestly didn't understand her stance then. I thought the war would take weeks and everything would be back to normal. The first few weeks I followed the news but after that I forgot abt it. Was reading in the news yesterday about malnurishment and starvation in Yemen and I was shocked when I realized that the war started 2 years ago. I then realized it's not just the houthis that were affected. What happened in Yemen is a result of external influences by both Saudis and Iranians which once again has resulted in normal innocent people suffering. |
I read about people breaking out when taking high doses snd not drinking enugh water. I haven't exactly takem biotin alone but I have watched some reviews on youtube ( some said it worked and others reported otherwise). |
Ahmed4002:This hit home |

Jazakallahu Khyran. Have a few reservations but I enjoyed reading. |
Narrated Abu Huraira in Sahih Bukhari: I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, 'Not even you, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?' He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me." So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah." |
MISSOPTIMIST:Agree! |

. You were right sha... but in my opinion, I think love, understand and diligence on the side of a man can bend any woman.. I personally do not like it when a woman dominates her husband.. but some husbands shaa.
