men congrats to all the ppl on this thread dat ve gotten their letters,i think we shud all stay +ve ,i guess sometimes its hard to do dat wen u think u ve put in all u ve got into this (especially spiritual).its easy for one to look back and feel God probably did't cum thru for us this time bt its important to remember that no matter wat is going on he's working it out for ur gud!he's a MEGA God and He is all knowin.so ppl do sumthing really "crazy" ,praise Him everybody even if u ve not received ur letters its important we let him see that no matter how things work out HE IS GOD and nothing can change his SOVEREIGNTY whether we work in LNG or not,its hard ,its painful but its true.Opoks i luv u last two posts u dey "yearn".cheers ppl

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Please I Need Info On Oracle 10g by mohid(m): 12:23pm On Oct 24, 2007
ppl,
watever u do ask questions and be certain wherever you re doing ur training is an oracle recognized training centre if not you would not get all ur certificates even after you pass both exams(for 10g).i trained somewhere and had to still pay fees at a recognized training centre, also note that a centre that also features as a prometric one does not necessarily mean it is an Oracle recognized training facility.all da best

Jobs/VacanciesRe: Which Way Nlng? by mohid(m): 3:31pm On Oct 23, 2007
hey peeps,
its gud to see the atmosphere in the house returning to normal, and its gud to see Kuwena finally crack, man kuwena its O.K to let out ur frustration jare at least it proves u re human, it seemed weird b4 now wen we were always showin our frustration wit the NLNG waitin game on the thread and u re always out there actin all composed and calm,my guy no mind dem(NLNG that is) remember that ur song u put on our lips at the beginnin of this thread "God don sign am say we go make am o" just kip singing it.And for every other person on this thread i tink its healthy to let out our frustrations here(after all we never get "anger management" clinics for naija)so long as we kip dem healthy and less personal,i believe having bin down this road 2gether these past 12 months i tink we nw family, and what better use for family than to share ur pain.important thing is stay +ve,kip ur head up and share a little hope, remember "He who gives anoda hope means he has plenty himself".I remain No.14(IGWE) on this bus, nuff luv.cheers
ProgrammingRe: Java And Oracle Which Is Best? by mohid(m): 2:55pm On Oct 23, 2007
guy its not easy to say one is better off,on the salary structure in the states Data base Adminstrators are the highest paid proffessionals mostly because they handle sensitive stuffs but Oracle itself is actually a very COMPLEX software with most of its GUI(graphical user interface ) built with Java ,and as for certification u ve an easier chance writing Oracle exams and passing they are cheaper and last longer while Java exams are more expensive and involves more stages ('cept u want to just get SCJP which is really very low in the Java "Food Chain")and besides they sort of expire after a while if u don't do the next stage, the truth be said it really depends on your plans ,if u planning to leave the country go for Oracle bt if Naija is home for now then go for Java there seems to be a more available market for programmers in the country than OCDBA's mainly because a lot of coys are just catchin up on the Oracle bug and because runnin and upgradin an Oracle database from time to time is quite expensive.
CareerRe: Aptech, NIIT Or Karrox For Oracle Certificatification? by mohid(m): 2:44pm On Oct 23, 2007
just in case you really keen on knowing oracle and not just getting certified there's a place on Allen(nikki africana plaza opp UBA on Allen Avenue)its called Info-Systems there training is really great and u ve a smaller Faculty/student ratio which is usually gud for such trainings, bt the catch is this u might still ve to go to NIIt or anoda Oracle recognized centre to do ur exams and get certified but i assure you its going to be such an experience.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Which Way Nlng? by mohid(m): 2:01pm On Oct 02, 2007
men,
kuwena and crew i dey hail o!u ppl sure know how to kip busy on this thread this nlng ppl no go giv person high B.P.meanwhile i happen to be in Portharcourt and i cant help noticin u dont get to see em white dudes in the regular hangouts, supermarkets and the like.Besides a friend dat jus finished a QHSE evaluation at bonny told me those guys are lamentin the extra running costs this millitancy thing is causing them.besides the extra cost accrued cos of the strictly helicopter flights in and out for staff only, they ve also had to go buy new choppers, they also claim their families(the whites)re suffering cos kids are changin to more xpensive boardin colleges in lagos and families are seperated and wives ve to go get houses and jobs in lagos cos they can't work in PH anymore and they cant get to see them at will 'cept on specified days they re booked out, besides for those dat ve to stay n work they re not allowed to stray off their R.A after 7 pm.he said all they do is work out at the gym, swim and play tennis all day.
In as much as i think crime of any kind shud nt be encouraged i ve to say em whites leaving wud make us black folks take their jobs.(especially us engrs)let us not shit our selves for one instant that the nigerian oil & gas industry cud fold up cos of this thing the world demand for energy is too high right now to allow dat ,and wit the issues in the middle east prices without a nigerian market wud take prices to the heavens, truth is the minute all these westerners leave the eastern coys wud cum take their place (the russians, chinese and arabs)and now that our ppl are more exposed than we were 50 years ago the terms and conditions for exploration wud be reviewed and gotten right this tyme, anyway i guess all depends on how one sees it "the glass is either half full or half empty".
Meanwhile he said Train 6 was complete and dey were thru wit tests and they shud be callin us soon, so we wud see and continue this argument then.my ppl once again I HAIL O!

kuwenatitis!!! u ve plenty of energy o!good thing its all positive,i really need to apologize to the house for being silent for a while thing is i dont spend too much time in the cafes browsing and job hunting anymore since i got my nlng job and see where the thread has gotten to in this tyme!anyway so u all know i ve taken my "IGWE'S" no. 14 on this flight,(i always knew me and henry had a lot in common).meanwhile i want to just say faith is an action word it is a whole more than talking it involves doing.During Christ's tyme on earth for all the miracles he did it was first preceded with an action by the party expecting the miracle, rthere was always a-STRETCH UR HAND,RISE UP, or even in cases like the man sick of the palsy(carried by 4 friends) or the rulers daughter someone showed faith on there behalf and took an action that preceded the miracle. So take a step of faith today and u will be glad u did!!!(make una no go they prize land yet o!!!)enuff luv ppl.
