abuse is not right whether the woman did u wrong or not. I would wait till his calm, find out where all this is coming from and work on a way i can avoid things that upset him and make it clear to him i would rather we talk calmly instead of beating each other. If it turns out that his is an serial abuser i will be mad at myself for not taking enough time to know him because should i have picked this bad behaviour up before marriage we would have dealt with it before it became a problem so this goes back to ladies being blind when they want marriage. Leaving him should be the last option because no one said marriage is easy. but what ever happens we have to work on our issues. its an unwritten female rule. Sometimes a lady might be older but looks younger and the real age might or maybe she is young and looks older. The thing is with ladies its hard to tell the age and when she finally discloses most of the time ppl will be like '' Ohhh really wow never imagined u would be that age'' and such expressions are just boring. so u can imagine having to get such expressions from 3 different ppl, the 4th one ain't getting no answer at all. The moment she feels comfortable with u she will even disclose on her own without being asked. Its all a question of '' does she know and trust u enough )
