sweetcheecks: You need to understand the dynamics and differences between Naija and SA. In SA the female male ratio is 4 :1 Where as in Niaija it could be 3: 1 male female ratio.

So just becouse they date outsiders does not mean slutty just means they are tired of fighting and dating men who are dating many others girls. While in Naija the ladies are the ones having many lovers for money, marriage and or survival.

Secondly, SA women know what they want in men. They are not the to cook and clean and have children. They are open about sexuality, they know their boddies and want to be fullfilled inrelashionships. They can even work and support a guy who loves them the way they want to be loved. Its a whole different world than Naija.

Most importantly, they are confident, fun to be with and happy!!!

sweetcheecks: Honestly, where does refined and HIV meet. When someone say refined you think se'x? Besides whats the hiv rate in Nigeria? If you actually even do census for the country. South Africa may have a high number atleast they are realistic, informed and highly independent that Nigerians. Amazingly, Naija men in those countries ussually date the fluzzies with hiv go home have many girls and marry Nigerian women. Guess what, they transport it outside of Sa more than inside.

But we all know naija people would never tell of their hiv/aids status they would rather die in silence. And secondly, promiscioucity seem to be more in Naija but kept under raps. Have you seen the rate of complaints about cheating men and women in Nairaland alone? Imagine the rest of the country?

The differemce, is one is sstanding up to be counted and tested the other dies in silence and pretends as if it is not happening. Its the Naija culture, to sweep things under the carpet.

This is not about West Africa against SA it is reality. Do you have a compulsary testing for pregnant women? Have you checked the latest hiv infection rate in SA or just becouse this was mentioned no one care to check the progress? Naigerians a great pretenders! If 80% your population adult population is sex'ually active then you cannot point fingers especially with the highest number of men travelling out of your country often.

My take is yes it is true that SA girls are elegant & classy but yes not all of them, as much as someone mentioned they don't travel, they are exposed to a lot of things which plays a role to the the way they act. It is sad that that the whole topic changed to their HIV status? With all the abortions going on in Nigeria, is it not possible that people are not infected by HIV? With a lot of the men traveling out of the country what are the possibilities? With so many brides getting married with their pregnancy showing, does it mean most people in the country are just faithful & their status is negative? What about Nigerian women who are prostitutes around the world or those in diaspora with their spouse back home are they faithful, thus making the population negative?I think Nigerians keep things under wraps & they have a culture of not speaking out. how many of you will visit a wellness centre, be at work, the mall wherever & just be tested?

We all have good things & bad things & we can all learn from one another to become better, all I am saying it is not good to generalize, we hear a lot f bad things about Naija people but we don't assume they are all drug dealers, crooks. It is always said the woman are after money, material gain & trap guys to get married by getting pregnant, that they a bunch of educated people who can't do anything for themselves but if we all have to believe that it will be foolish & ignorance.
