PoliticsFg To Dialogue With Mend Over Threat Of Bomb Attacks by monkeyleg(op): 10:28am On Mar 17, 2011
By Kenneth Ehigiator & Jimoh Babatunde
LAGOS – The Federal Government, yesterday, expressed its willingness to dialogue with the Movement for Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, following the latest threats issued by the group to launch bomb attacks in Lagos, Abuja and the Niger Delta.

This came on a day the government sent to People University, Moscow, Russia, 75 youths of the region who had just completed their non-violence training at Obubra, Cross River State, under the amnesty programme.

@Poster, you will find your answers here

A good percentage of people on the political forum would probably have started off supporting goddy at some point, but as time has gone on, people have become disillusioned with the man.

Funny you say this here, i have since seen people who openly supported him on Facebook switch sides. People have wisened up to what goddy and PDP represent

PoliticsRe: We Once Believed In Jonathan by monkeyleg: 3:03pm On Mar 15, 2011
@Aisha2,

Thanks for starting the thread, I had it in mind. It is so important people try and take a measured view on why things have changed so drastically. i remember you and I firing off post on here in support. I know you attending the march in Abuja, i did in the UK, but just missed out in Lagos.

I was convinced at the time that it was only fair that Goodluck be giving a chance. I populated my facebook page, got friends and family to do the same, asking the critical question where our leader was. The injustice, he suffered at the early days moved all. We all remember the infamous interviews by Ojo Madueke, the Lies by Aondoakka. But we also remember the breaking of ranks by Dora, and the final truth call from her.

So when I get accused of hating Jonathan, I just laugh. Most you say so, didnt even play a part in getting him in there. But it wasnt long for his true colour to show. His seemingly strong alliance with those certifed as high priest of corruption. His somewhat lukewarm attitude to the fight against corruption, not to mention his in-action on those who were brutally and wickedly killed in Jos.

I invite our critics to revisit those links you have posted

PoliticsRe: Governor Uduaghan (delta State) Loses Tenure Elongation Case by monkeyleg: 2:45pm On Mar 15, 2011
You know in Warri we say "Na only once dem dey Phuck ashawo no pay", Uduaghan can be as Nice as he wants, but his time is up. He once commented to a friend of mine that he is wicked and he knows. He owes people left right and centre, but he has even done worse by not serving the good people of delta state. We have been raped, molested and abuse far to long by ibori and his short devil brother. The time of reckoning is drawing near.

I expect Ibori to be extradited to the UK probably Just after the elections.

@Wesley80,

You have been caught and exposed now, havent you. I knew sooner or later you true nature will show up on here. After all you are the same person who said it was ok to take money from pdp to vote Uduaghan in, didnt you? So I guess you dont understand that word Principle or Should I sat intergrity. By the way you Master case has fallen flat on its face. Come April God willing Uduaghan will be kicked out, and I will want to see where you will go and fill your begging bowl. Rasclat.

There is a lot to be excited about. What if an unfavourable outcome was the case, like Ibori? we wont even be talking about the opportunity to fight the elections. I sure the short devil knows his time is up.

This is good news for all Deltans of progressive minds.

Infact I am leaving work early to go and celebrate. Drinks on me everyone!!!

^^ you can call me whatever, at least I dont have to wallow in self deceit, neither do I need to accept corrupt money to vote my conscience, that is assuming you have one.

It amazes one, that in 2011, call it modern day Nigeria, that folks are still prepared to be treated like slaves, all because of money
PoliticsRe: Let’s Crash This Democracy – Pat Utomi • Nigeria Is Dying by monkeyleg: 10:29pm On Mar 14, 2011
@U de vex?,

If you believe the rubbish you wrote you will believe anything.

Now it is very evident why those who can move Nigeria in great stride choose to do nothing, the country is simply full of dunces and lazy idiot, devoid of any sense shame. That is why a grown man can state that PDP does not represent a significant problem for Nigeria. I give Up

There is statement that rings so true in that country "Nigerians are actually worse than thier leaders, hence they get the leaders the deserve"
PoliticsRe: Why Is Everyone In Nairaland Against Gej? by monkeyleg: 9:15pm On Mar 14, 2011
I think Aisha2 has aticualated the point very well. I remember last year starting a thread about the absense of our then president, and how Nigerians could not be left in a vaccum. I remember galvanising my friends and family to join the march both in the UK and Nigeria, all becuase we felt Goddy should be given a chance. Then what happened, he started surrounding himself with thieves and crooks, quickly shwoing his true colour, that he didnt represent any change that the good people of Nigeria deserved, and simply put that is one big reason why I will not vote for him or get anyone I know to.

For those who need reminding, please follow the link below.

PoliticsRe: How The Us Really Sees Efcc by monkeyleg: 9:19pm On Mar 13, 2011
Why are you people shouting, was it not in broad-day-light that Goddy openly endorsed a Known Thief, Uduaghan. Was Uduaghan not name in the ongoing money laundering case for which Ibori is accussed and his wife and concubines have been sent to jail for. Has efcc not flagged Uduaghan as a thief under thier rader? Now how could anyone allow this man run again in the elections, epecially when there was a very good opportunity to deal with him when he was kicked out of office.

Nigerians must wisen up to the wicked tricks of PDP and thier Band of thieves. Are efcc claiming that there are not enough corrupt ex-minister and politicians to keep them busy? what happend to Aondoanka, what about Ojo Madueke? the list is endless.

My view, scrap the damn thing, just a phucking waste of money

^^^ lol still whining as always i see. R u ever going to grow up and get the full picture? We all think Utomi wld make a great president but u're living in a foools paradise if u're taking his candidacy serious.
At least I vote with my conscience, not like some who have sold their family to PDP for 1000 naira. Why dont you tell people on here why you are backing Uduaghan of Delta state, A known Certified Thief.
PoliticsRe: Let’s Crash This Democracy – Pat Utomi • Nigeria Is Dying by monkeyleg: 3:56pm On Mar 13, 2011
What Pat is saying is the damn phucking truth, but the problem is with Nigerians. not Pat, but Nigerians. if after 12yrs of mis-rule, people can still consider PDP as a party worh voting for, then Nigerians are not ready for change, it is as simple as that.

And it is just a shame, that a lot of people come on here without a clue and critisize him, these same people will not lift a finger to change things in Nigeria, infact some are quite happy to sell thier votes to the highest bidder.

I supported PU @ the last election, and I will support him again
PoliticsRe: N/west, S/west’s Voting Population Worries Jonathan by monkeyleg: 1:26am On Mar 13, 2011
Its a shame, that the typical Nigerian, including some on here have quickly turned this whole election thing into North Vs South. It should be about issues and policies of which the most damaging of all is corruption. Really if Nigerians can leave sentiments aside and focus on issues, there is really no basis for considering Goodluck, absoluetly none. But as usual the typical naija fella is politically lazy

We quickly dismiss others posts because we dont like what they say. lets face it PDP is rottern to the core, and I doubt, you can ever get good chicks from rottern eggs.
PoliticsRe: A New Important Reason Why I Would Vote Buhari. by monkeyleg: 6:47pm On Mar 12, 2011
It is easy to discredit Buhari at the slightlest opportunity, especially as those who do act on sentiments not facts. Whether we like it or not those who are fair to BB knows what he stands for and if the truth be said (and it should) that is exactly what we require in Nigeria right now.

Those who clamour for PDP seem to have forgotten so soon what life in Nigeria has been like in the last 12yrs, and if that is the case, why should any Nigerian be interested in having a Nigeria that works?

Nigerians have forgotten what PDP and her leadership have done with corruption
Nigerians have forgotten what security has been like this 12yrs
Nigerians have forgotten the new era of kidnapping
Nigerians have forgotten the new era of Bombing
Nigerians have forgotten the run down and totally destroyed education sector
Nigerians have forgotten the non-existance health care sector

now if Nigerians have not forgottne all these Awful things, then why would they even consider voting PDP?

Think wise and vote smart, remember a Vote for PDP is a Vote for Criminality
