Most times, you don't make sense. cry
Maybe to someone like you, I dont. Tells a lot about you doesnt it?

Why dont you go and deal with the issue at hand, instead of spreading lies
PoliticsRe: Why Is The Buhari Supporter Soooooooooooooooo Angry? by monkeyleg: 5:45pm On Apr 02, 2011
@Beaf,

leave all these childish propaganda, and go and deal with the total failure of Jega, a man annoited by your Oga.

Another failure of the PDP administration
PoliticsRe: Reuters Mocks INEC's Incompetence Over Postponed National Assembly Elections by monkeyleg: 5:26pm On Apr 02, 2011
@Beaf,

it is on your uncles watch, so ultimately he must take responsibility for this mess.

A real shame, that after 50yrs we still need outsiders to tell us when we get things dreadfully wrong. Why cant we live by the simple principle of telling ourselves the home truth.

To be honest, i have nothing personally against Jega, but he has shown that the Job is far bigger than him. The signs were on the wall, with the delta re-run farce
PoliticsRe: Breaking News! James Ibori Granted Bail by monkeyleg: 5:08pm On Apr 02, 2011
This would be the utmost failure of justice if the master-mind is allowed to walk while his helpers have been clinked up for years.
PoliticsRe: Election Guesses Per State by monkeyleg: 4:20pm On Apr 02, 2011
@Sagamite,

No one voted for Uduaghan. He did not win, We should be questioning Jega who openly said there was ballot snatching yet failed to cancel the election, We missed the boat then, for I cant understand what the term credible will mean during this election
PoliticsRe: Election Guesses Per State by monkeyleg: 3:54pm On Apr 02, 2011
@Sagamite,

you and I are on the same page on this one, but I wont give PDP Delta state. I know for certain, it wont be BAU. Those who form credible opposition are not going to give into any rubbish this time. But again this is Nigeria, where the unthinkable is possible
PoliticsRe: Election Guesses Per State by monkeyleg: 3:10pm On Apr 02, 2011
it is simplistic to suggest Delta will stay PDP. It is not going to be BAU
PoliticsRe: 2011 Elections: A Nation At Crossroads (Must Read!!) by monkeyleg: 3:05pm On Apr 02, 2011
@Midas02,

your assessment is a fair reflection of the current situation in Nigeria. If only people will drop sentiments and view issues based on fact and in the true spirit of getting the best to lead us, they will arive at the same conclusion. But the problem is that as a country we are not at that position yet.

The spectrum of the word change is extremely broad in the Nigerian context. This needs to be narrowed
PoliticsRe: Breaking News: Entire NASS Election Postponed Till Monday April 4 - Jega by monkeyleg: 1:49pm On Apr 02, 2011
I said this when the Delta state re-runs was done. with the whole registeration debacle the evidence was there to suggest the work pass the man. this whole process has been shambolic to say the least, I am really not convinced the election would be any better than 2007. But as usual, people jumped up to his defence. I shudder to think what will happen nexy saturday or 2 weeks from now

Right now, i am not sure sacking at this stage would achieve much
PoliticsRe: Naija People!! Today Is Your Chance To Punish Looters, Don't Waste It! by monkeyleg: 8:15am On Apr 02, 2011
Make the wrong choice, you suffer the consequence for 4yrs. As the poster said the salaries these guys earn is not commensurate with the work they do. We must kick them all out.

Dont forget these guys are called to public service not public chopping. We must all vote wisely, but also folk, be careful out there, dont allow people use you for thier selfish wicked ends.
PoliticsRe: Scam: Delta State Gov Commissions Uncompleted Airport: See Pics by monkeyleg: 1:47pm On Apr 01, 2011
This is what we have been saying for years, yet people still see pdp as vote worthy. When will Nigerians wake up. You wont believe in the midst of the rubbish, there are people out there commending this farce.

Sometime I tire for Nigerians. Sometimes you wish this country was China, it would have been staright jail for the crook

Ol boy, it is not your eyes. the whole things has been wonky from day one. Ultimate deceit of the people of delta state, and wait for it. this rubbish cost over 40BN and it is not complete yet.
In my opinion the governor should be charged and jailed

@Redsun,

That was the excat reason why I lost all support for Goodluck, and I can tell you a fair few people from Delta state did as well. Are we the only people who cannot recognise a Big Thief when we see one? Do we need the UK to keep identifying the thieves amongst our mist?

Uduaghan was name in a high profile court case, infact he was fingered as a master-mind behind the grand theft that has occured in Delta state, his big brother is on the run, a crook and an outlaw, yet Goddy found nothing wrong with endorsing him.

I gather that though Obi (acting governor), spent quite a lot, but he did pay a lot of people Uduaghan had been owing for years. The Thief Uduaghan is unbelievable. I hear when he was kicked out, Obi handed over the notorious desiel contract to his wife. Uduaghan was furious, this is Roli Uduaghans bread and butter, who was Obi to challenge the status quo. From news reaching us, Obi told him that he was entitled to it as it comes with the Office of the governor, and threatened to expose Uduaghan. The Guys Greed would shock even the Devil
PoliticsRe: Obj Disgraced In Owerri by monkeyleg: 9:49am On Apr 01, 2011
And Delta state too. In fact we have all contributed money to buy potmanto, boxes and ghana must go bag to help carry Uduaghans things out of government house, we might even go as far as hiring the truck to carry his things out.

They have all failed thier people

PoliticsRe: Nigeria, 4th Fastest Growing Economy In The World- Uk Govt. by monkeyleg: 6:05pm On Mar 31, 2011
Growth without accountability, is like throwing money down the toilet. Serious investors are concerned about security, transparency, lack of corruption, stable and functioning infrastructure. Which is these do we currently have?

I keep saying that we are trying to fill a swimming pool with a sieve
PoliticsRe: Nigeria, 4th Fastest Growing Economy In The World- Uk Govt. by monkeyleg: 5:39pm On Mar 31, 2011
in 1985 the exchange rate between the Naira and the £ was 1:1. It was 70kobo to 1 dollar.

An economy might grow, but without the right programme and guidance in place, it is worthless. If you dont tackle corruption and the causes of corruption, we will not benefit from this so called growth.

@Ibime,

you spoke my mind. I think the author of this thread, is seeking some sort of relevance for the one man show of shame we saw yesterday. Thank God some sectors of our society are begining to wake up and challenge the nonsense we call government.

Like you said, why did BON not move Utomi and co to Wednesday? Big breeze for blow and the whole country for see fowl nyash.
PoliticsRe: Walking My Talk: A Cry For My Beloved Country – Patrick Utomi by monkeyleg: 12:23pm On Mar 31, 2011
Well done Pat. You fought the good fight, and set the stage for othes to follow. I have never doubted your love and commitment to this country. Its a real shame others misunderstand your passions for change, and the frustration it brings. You have done all you can for now, as for me, I have since understood that Nigerians prefer the tough way out.

Pharoh:
This is very sad but why add politics and pdp to all of this?,
My brother it is Sad indeed. And thanks for asking the question.

In any sane society, you hold the government in office responsible for failing systems, especially when they are government run.

Please, give one example of e government system or sector that is working. We must learn to take those who claim to lead us to task.

I was educated by the state system, and to be honest, I received excellent education. What is so wrong in asking for the same for your children, your brothers and sisters, and mine.
If we are to be truthful to ourselves (a quality lacking in Nigeria), there is no way anyone can give the last 12 yrs pass mark. So I think it is important that we use clear heads to make our decisions
PoliticsNeco Posts Another Mass Failure In Nov/dec Ssce by monkeyleg(op): 9:09am On Mar 31, 2011
Strange country. The evidence of a party that has failed the common man is too clear for all to see, yet we still have people supporting PDP. Now who is responsible for this?

12 years of total failure, yet we havent learnt anything. Just like the wayward wife who keeps getting pregnant for different men. Shame on us as a people for letting down our future
