CrimeRe: 3 Students Burnt To Death In Uniport by monkeyleg: 10:31am On Oct 06, 2012
oyb: blaming the govt. yeah right.

i should sit on my ass and blame the useless govt

by doing that i will have light
water
security
good road to my house etc

the govt has failed us. that is why, like everything else, we have to take everything into our hands
Well, you have fallen into the trap the government wants you to, that is turn against each other while they continue fleecing the country dry. So who wins? Typical of us Nigerian always taking the easy way out. Go and fight for real justice and good governance, not opportunist chances to beat your fellow Nigerians and roast them to death
CrimeRe: 3 Students Burnt To Death In Uniport by monkeyleg: 10:19am On Oct 06, 2012
People are missing the point here, as always. Why dont we balme the govenment that has failed to provide inadequate security and justice for the people. This anager and aggression must be channeled at the leaders who have failed you, not some students who might end up being innocent. A very BIG WRONG has happened here and no one, no one must excuse this wicked act. If it is true that the governor has ordered the arrest and investigation of the matter, then good on him
CrimeRe: 3 Students Burnt To Death In Uniport by monkeyleg: 9:31am On Oct 06, 2012
There is too much anger and wickedness in the land, Funny enough stupid Nigerian do not know where to rightfully vent thier anger. I would have loved to see these same holier than the pope condemmers met out the same Jungle Justice to the leaders who Steal, Impoverish and maltreat the citizens. Phucking cowards, like someone rightfully said, who is without wrong in his lifehuh

We as a people are so Neck deep in wickedness to succeed as a nation. we wonder why things dont go right for us, the reason is starring any right thinking human being in the face
CrimeRe: 3 Students Burnt To Death In Uniport by monkeyleg: 9:24am On Oct 06, 2012
Again we wonder why Nigeria is the state which it is. There can never be justification for this kind of wicked jungle justice, what if these boys were innocent.
FamilyRe: Help, My Brother Whips His Wife! by monkeyleg: 8:25pm On Sep 23, 2012
chaircover: Lock up ke?!!!! In Nigeria? a man that will bail himself in 2 hours and come home and beat the hell out of them again . . . The policeman she wants to report to, probably beat his own wife up that same morning.

The only thing I can suggest to the poster is to get your parents involved. They are still his parents and they should still be able to talk to him in a language that he understands regardless of whether he is the one feeding them or not.

As for your SIL all you can do is to explain to her the dangers of being seriously injured or even killed one day and what is being instilled in the watching kids. Tell her to take this seriously and go speak to her parents/family and even if it means that she has a trial separation until the husband comes back to his senses so should it be. She has a job, and if the man was/is as generous and rich as you say, then your SIL should have some savings to be able to fend for herself for a while until the man behaves himself.
Thanks you, this is exactly what I have been saying
FamilyRe: Help, My Brother Whips His Wife! by monkeyleg: 8:12pm On Sep 22, 2012
Ujujoan: What other consequences could be worse than being beaten with a belt of flogged huh shocked

Just thinking about it gives me chills . . .

It's time for her to make him understand that she wont rool over anymnore and take anything he disehes out. Bullies often withdraw when confronted!

She needs to make it stop . .
You know, sometimes it is easier for us on the outside to comment,we dont understand the dynamics of their relationship. what if the consequences of him being thrown into jail means he walks out of the marriage? is she ready for that? Not saying that she should not do something about what is happening, but she should weight-up her options carefully
FamilyRe: Help, My Brother Whips His Wife! by monkeyleg: 7:52pm On Sep 22, 2012
Very shameful that men would treat thier wife this way. I wish there was an easy solution, it is simplistic to suggest throwing the man in Jail, then what next? she would need to live with the consequences, That sort of action is only considered when the woman knows that she is prepared to walk away from everything. Now is kids are involved, it is far more complex than we all think.

My suggestion would be to bring your Dad into this, he probably has the best chance of talking sense into his Son. It is amazing that in 2012 people still consider it okay to treat others this way, especially someone you have declared and publicly pronounced your love for. Shocking
FamilyRe: Infidelity: Objective Analysis by monkeyleg: 1:26pm On Sep 22, 2012
sorry, but if the story is as you state it. The woman is damn wicked. her Husbands goes away to sweat to bring money home for her and the kids, and the best she can do is entertain another man in his absence. Not wanting to be alarmist here, but she must be sternly cautioned, if that foolish married man "Taking advantage of her" can not stay away, I think it is only right and proper that husband knows whats going on, after all if it is all innocent, there is nothing to be scared of.

If the man did not do his best to support his family, he will be critisized as being lazy, now her does, wife takes advantage to bring ex-lover home to spend the Night, which kind wahala be dis. Damned if you do, Damned of you dont

UYCO: @Ejine and Monkeyleg, it is your father that is a thief. One does not become a thief just because you say so. Why are you angry that the governor is working and the people are happy? If you don't have job to do you should have told us, are u not aware that His Excellency ,the Comrade Governor of Delta State created more than 2,000 jobs for unemployed youths recently? The man is now in a hurry to deliver and you are angry. What do you want?

Matthewgreatman: The same people saying he refuse to develop their LGA because they didn't vote for him, they have representatives in the Executive council, house of Assembly. All the contract allocated to their communities are bin place unhold by their representatives.Don't expect him to come to your various communities, to inspect the projects he has awarded. My problem with those criticizing him is that,u don't know anything about administration procedure. Do u expect a son to ask his father what he was doing with his mother in the room? Such questions will only arise when his mother shout for help.My advice to you now is that you should cast your blames on those you and others choose as government representative in ur LGA.Allow the man face his calling.
Stop deceiving yourself. I know Eweta very well, and he is a Bloody Thief

PoliticsRe: Anioma State Must Be Created by monkeyleg: 4:24pm On Sep 17, 2012
@Ogugua88,

I agree with you to a point. yes creating more states does not necessarily mean they will function well, however the situation on the ground means that the Ibo's between Edo and Delta (Old Bendel state), would be better served by having an entity that enconprises the group. we cannot shy away from the fact the Ibo's are highly marginalised in Delta state, right form creation. We have even heard the likes of Ibori and his Ilk swear that Asaba will never see good, questions have to be asked why a Government house extension had to be built in Warri. Seeds of disunity were sown at that stage. These are real facts that cannot be taken out of a legitimate argument for ones people to seek an entity called thier own. It is easy for people to make simplistic comments about this request, but believe me, I have been in positions of understanding to see the real need why this should be considered. The fact remains, that Nigeria is still not politically mature enough whereby Merit rather than tribe comes into play when govemenance is sought

Chai, the usual story. Instead of looking at the total mess, people are celebration failure. In all my years of following politics in different countries, I just dont understand how the Nigerian animal can see the country totally phucked up and claim there is progress. What is wrong with the country and its love for its demons. What is wrong with critisizing the system as it is, after all a successful country benefits everyone. I just dont get the Nigerian animal, or is it a case of people who JUST DONT KNOW, and are so Ignorant to preoperly functioning governement.
