G.morning house pls be careful with the immigration officer you use to renew your passport in Nigeria. So many of them are theives. If you don't get the right amount for passport, they will drain y money. I will advice that anybody that wants to renew passport should walk inside their office and do it. Atimes some of them connect you to some one but that person is not working in passport office, the person has his boys that does it. The person might be working at the airport. I will advice that immigration women are the best to use than their men. They are less expensive and have human feelings. The normal amount to renew 32 pages is 30k, some collect more than that, try to bargain well. For 64 pages is 40k. Even if you are doing express. I even know of some1 that renew for 28k. My friend just renewed and they collected 50k from him for 64 pages, the immigration man never explained and taught that it is 32 pages and it was already late bc they claim they have submitted it online and they told him to pay for extra that the 50k surpose to be for 32 pages. We need to be careful. Money is hard to get. For those of you that don't have national ID, the best place to renew is festac. 1 Like |

sammydoe: I was told by an immigration officer that one can travel, when you get to Nigeria they will allow you and write something on the passport. But he said that one need to have an immigration officer at the airport that can easily pass you through. (Trust Nigeria) I will also advice you do emergency traveling document. I posted here bf on this and some1 said that the airline did not allow her/ he travel. So get necessary information. |

mmo1: The total amount of money you make from all sources of your income in a year excluding your tax and pension deduction. Calculate the amount you make from your net salary and multiply by 12, you will get what you make in a year. Then if you have additional job calculate your net and multiply by 12 and add it to the first to get the total for the two jobs yearly 2 Likes |

mmo1: The total amount you make in a yearHello Experts, So I wanted to find our my chances. I am a Cloud/Infrastructure Architect with over 8 years of work experience. I am currently looking for a job in the UK under the Tier 2 Visa Skilled shortage list. I have seen tons of jobs. I see the new Immigration law takes effect from Jan 1 2021, for skilled workers outside the EEA. What are my chances of landing a good job. I am based in Lagos Nigeria. Also would it be possible if I visit the UK next year, see if I get a sponsor in the UK and come back to Nigeria to apply for a Tier 2 visa? Please I would like someone who is experienced for guidance. Thank you. You don’t need to come over to find sponsors, lol. Finding sponsors is not something you do by walking the streets of UK. Just apply for the jobs that fit your spec, indicate that all conversations must be via Skype (provide your Skype ID) or emails. Fine tune your CV to uk standard (they don’t care about your state of origin and age), then wait for recruiters to be interested in you and schedule interviews with you. Your field is really good and you have a great amount of experience so I’m sure something positive will happen within 6 months of search. Regardless, you should be weary of the fact that your competition will be guys from Asia who are gods at IT, however, your strong point will be that you speak English better than them (leverage your English speaking capability). You should only come to the UK if they ask your for a physical interview, but try your best to insist on remote interviews unless you have plenty money to spend. LagosismyHome: The immigration guy I asked said that the 10 years is available for 64pages. Moreso, he said that those that wants to come back to Nigeria with expired passport can do so, since one is from Nigeria, u can come bk and renew your visa. But the only problem is that some yeye immigration officer might disturb but normally they don't surpose to disturb one. |
