Hello house , what can one do if one is not earning exactly £18,600 to apply for spouse visa. Assuming the person is earning £17,500. Can the person do overtime to meet up the pay? How will the overtime be calculated. 2. How is the £18,600 calculated? Is it base on the annual salary or base on the six months? 3. Then for the accommodation, can one use a friend's house to make the application? Will home office accept it. If yes, what do I need from the friend. 4. Lastly can one add self employed job + permanent job to make application. I will appreciate comments pls. Thank you |

oladotunfelix2:Yes of course. Micro finance bank is ok for visa application. |
Aphrodite007:Ok thank you |
Chukwuka16:Wow! That was too fast. Congrats on you and wify. Please can you explain the global talent dependant, First time hearing of it. |
usmee:If you are staying in your friends apartment, u need letter of invitation from your friend, but if you are staying in a hotel u don't need invitation from your friend. |
Junera:If it is your uncle that is sponsoring every thing he needs to provide his own statement of account, it is from the SOA that ECO sees if he is capable of sporsoring u. In the application form questions are asked who is paying for your trip, flight ticket etc. The eco will not be satisfied on your financial circumstances. I will advise that your uncle sponsor your trip since you are still a student. The only supporting document u can include is your admission letter, student ID, letter from HOD as proof of 300 level student. You can also show the proof of the house, it serves as ties. U have to explain in the cover letter that the house was transferred in your name , show evidence. You don't really need your SOA if your uncle is sponsoring every thing. |
Nchabuomo:Even if just visiting in few days, she have to state it. Except she doesn't want to visit. She is not dragging the hubby in the application. If she state she is married, then she need to write details of her hubby location, all these are asked in the application letter. There is no adding unsolicited information. Always tell the truth in application bc lies in application have away of getting back to you. Speaking from experience. |
Nchabuomo:√ There is nothing wrong in mentioning her sister and it will not any way complicate things. If she wants to visit her sister, she should state it and give how many days she will be there. Note- In the application she will be asked if she has any family or friend in the UK. I will advise she state yes and she will also be asked if visiting them, yes should be the answer. √ It is very important to let the eco know where y husband stays because of future applications. If your hubby is in abroad put the country and beside the eco does not have any biz where y hubby is. Just tell them the location and be truthful. |

G.morning lovely house, trust u all are doing well. Please I will like an advice from you guys please. My elder sister is working as a secretary/ executive assistant in a reputable organisation in Abuja. She loves her career line very well and have bin in it for 12 years now. She got married in 2014, her hubby is based in UK and she will be joining her hubby soon in UK. She was discussing with me on her career, that she doesn't know if she can get a secretary work in the UK. I told her that she should change her career line to health sector bc I know that she can easily get job in health sector, but she said that her age(41years) might not permit her study nursing when she gets her permanent stay bc of the study loan. Please house is there any well paid job she can do apart from health care. We here in Nigeria believe that is mostly health sector that is opened to new comers in UK and most Nigeria go for health care jobs. Pls any advice or suggestions or advice to prepare her. She keep telling me that she prefers to leave in Nigeria ( bc of her age and starting life again. But, I keep convincing her that UK is better than Nigeria. I will appreciate responses. Thank you |

Does it mean that he will renew it when it expires, will the person gets settlement status immediately. Will the person be visiting UK .he told me that he will only stay for few months in uk and travel back to Ghana. I really want to know bc I don't know much on EU visa. Thank you

Pamelapencil:Q1. Dear please don't think of doing it. I know it is possible in Nigeria, don't complicate matters that might give you a ban of 10 years, then u have y self to blame. Most of this registry embassy still do underground check and if you go ahead and tidy a marriage certificate, the court might not document it for you and embassy now make enquiry noting to proof you did wedding at their registry. Beside you can only tidy up marriage certificate in local registry not in recognized registry that are standard. My advice just exercise patience and pray the pemdemic ends and y hubby comes bk and you do real registry. Q2. Any one is preferable provided the certificate is recognised. Q3. Pictures matters alot. It is part of the prove. Very relevant! Just you and hubby and two witnesses are just ok. Moreso, you need to verify if the visa that your hubby have in the UK can bring in the partner. Because if the visa can not bring in partner then you have to be visiting. Just verify and know the kind of visa, then the house can advise. |

FYsol: ovieohene:Cc: Oviehene What happened to her age ? her husband to be can sponsor her traveling expenses if he has all necessary requirements, there is no way she can not get a visting visa, if she can prove that the man is her fiancé and gets letter of invitation from him and have a good SOAm She still stands the chances of getting visiting. The same way husband's sponsors their wife and kids to the UK for vacation.Visiting visa is not the only visa she can apply for. She can apply for marriage visa with proof of getting married in the UK. Once she is giving, she travels to UK and come bk to Nigeria after they get married in the UK. So, when she comes back she apply for spouse visa. On the other hand, if the fiancé can come to Nigeria, better! they get married in recognized registry, then she apply for spouse visa, she will be given 2.5 years, and she is permitted to work with her spouse visa. Thirdly, she can apply for fiancé visa, she gets all the necessary requirements of coming to the UK to get married. Proof of wedding venue in the UK, proof of registry to use in the UK, just relevant proof that she is coming to the UK to get married. On the other hand the husband have to show proof that he can support her while in the UK. The spouse must be earning £18,600 yearly, six months payslips, accommodation, tendency agreement, and letter from land lord/lady that his/her house can accommodate the both of you. If the spouse have morgage, he needs to show evidence, evidence of statement of account showing six months salaries received, letter from HR to show proof that the spouse is working in the company. If the spouse is self employed he needs all relevant documents from his business and finance statement for one year or two years and accountant report. @ Oviehene needs to know from his fiancé the one that he can do. He has to goggle through the diff routes. They have CAT A, CAT B, CAT F and through saving route. His fiance have to know the one he wants to use as proof of financial requirement. They need to show proof of relationship i.e pictures taking together, WhatsApp chat, phone calls, exchange emails, registry weddings pictures and marriage certificate, proof of status in the uk, either British or indenfite leave to remain. Proof of English. The partner have to write exams to proof her English, or better if she has a degree certificate taught in English, she can apply to Naric with her degree certificate and transcript. Naric verifies the certificate and send proof, so she can use it to apply. She will need to do TBC test. Please note;- All these requirements are also needed in spouse visa. For spouse visa she pays for NHS while for fiancé visa she doesn't pay, until she wants to apply for spouse visa (FlR) in the UK she pays for NHS. As soon as she gets all these proofs, she can then apply for fiancé visa/ spouse visa. Fiancé visa gives her six months to come to the UK and get married, after her marriage bf the six months expires, she applys for spouse visa(FLR). Under fiancé visa, she can not work with it until she gets her spouse visa. Cc: @Ovieohene: The choice is yours. It all depends on your fiancé pocket. The amount you will pay for spouse visa is up to £3000. The visa fees is about £1500 or £1200, the NHS fees is about £1200 or there about, the TBS is 58k, the Naric might be 68k, the registry fees depends on the one u can afford. Please try to goggle the right amount of all these fees bc fees changes. My advice if your spouse can come to Nigeria then u guys get married and apply for spouse visa straight away. u can work with it. But if he can not come to Nigeria, just apply for fiancé visa. Better than marriage visa, to avoid you the stress of coming bk to Nigeria. In the fiancé visa you spend more. You can go to Nairaland spouse visa and read as much as u can bf making y choice. All the best |
