Tonycaly:I did this year, did not hear from them. No just put hope in them. Just go about your normal business. If they call you good, if they no call ride on. God got y back for the best job |
BlackHummer:Hmmm! Those guys are not serious. I did medical for cement this year, did not hear from them. No just put hope in them. Just go about your normal business. If they call you good, if they no call ride on. God got y back for the best job |
tobbyalone:So u mean that is now a year after your medical that u have not heard from them? If it is a year now why not call them to confirm. How can one finish medical and did not hear from them again, this is strange. May God help us. |
tobbyalone:Is it Dangote cement? Are u for experienced applicant or fresher? What position did u apply for? Have you called them after yr medical to confirm the reason u have not heard from them? I await your response. Thank you |
Kjnwancaro:Yes the best for you Is to do the registry here in Nigeria and apply for the spouse visa. It saves you lot of time and money. And with spouse visa u can work. What's up with the IHS thing: The IHS means International Health Surcharge, it is the payment or surcharge visa applicants pay that gives access to the National Health Service (NHS).The IHS is the medical fees u will pay. When u do this payment and get the spouse visa, u can have access to medical for 2.5 years of y spouse visa duration. The IHS is a compulsory payment to make. But one get refund the money if one's visa is refused. So u need to pay the IHS inorder to receive medical treatment . While the NHS is The National Health Service which is the publicly funded national healthcare system for England. These is the estimate of the money u will pay for the spouse visa The £1565 (719,900) - Visa application fee £1200 (552,000)- IHS charge (insurance) 54,000 - TB test 69,000 - NARIC And other additional small additional bill |
Please who is working in Dangote cement here? |
justwise:I don't care about all these write up. All I know I have taken my time to made my contribution. It is left for him to chose what he wants. No need of us cloging the forum. |
justwise:As far as I am concerned, I am not complicating any issues for him please. All these evidence is what my cousin used for her fiancé visa last year and it was successful. She attached all emails of communication with photography, registry etc and receipt of wedding gowns and rings. It is left for the poster to choose the ones he wants. I know that marriage certificate and pictures are the most important thing but get enof proof for it.,the certificate and pictures are for spouse visa. The poster needs evidence to show he is coming to the UK to do his wedding under fiancé visa. |
justwise:: This is evidence on coming to get married in the UK. Wedding gown receipt are one of the evidence. Nothing is complicated at all in this fiancé visa details. Better to give enof proof. What the poster is applying is fiancé visa not spouse visa. Fiancé visa one need to show all evidence that the person is coming to wed in the UK. Kindly read the poster first post please. |
Kjnwancaro:1. on the issue of work, would the foreign fiancee be able to work once they get married/convert to the spouse visa? :- The foreign fiance will be able to work once the person convert to spouse visa. Your spouse visa have permit to work but no recourse to public funds. would this process cost any additional money:- The process will cost you additional £1000 pound and more. The finance visa and spouse visa is the same fees when applying in your home country. The only difference is that fiancé visa u d'nt pay NHS which is about £1200 but when u convert to spouse visa in the UK , u will pay for the NHS fees. And also when u apply for fiancé visa u are paying double the fees. I.e after paying for fiancé visa in your home country, when u want to covert to spouse visa in the UK, u will still have to pay the same visa. Then for fiancé visa when u are in the UK , u can not access the NHS for free, u will have to pay for it, which is expensive. 2. How long does this initial fiancee visa take and what is the estimated success rate all things being equal? The fiancé visa takes the same time with spouse visa. It is depending on the one u want, for standard application is 60working days while pirority is 30working days. Note: There is a fees of £500 if u want pirority service. The estimate success rate is very successful if your partner meets all the requirements which is meeting the financial requirement of £18,600 , accommodation, proof of relationship etc. 3. What are the major requirements(docs) from both foreign fiancee and uk citizen? SPONSOR : UK citizen 1. Last 6 months Bank statement showing salary being paid in 2. Contract letter from employer stating job title, employment start date and salary 3. P60 end of year certificate. 4. Tenancy agreement 5. council tax 6. water/electric bill 7. All pages of passport photocopied Proof of relationship 1. Whatsapp chat log 2. phone call history 3. emails 4. Pictures (dated and captioned) 5. flight tickets 7. passport page stamps 8. hotel and holiday bookings 9. Receipts of engagement ring PROOF OF INTENDING MARRIAGE 1. Venue booking and contract 2. Photographer/videographer booking and contract 3. Caterer/ decorator booking 4. Wedding cake booking 5. Wedding Dress and suit receipts Note:- U have to show proof that u are getting married in the UK. APPLICANT (Foreign fiancé) 1. recent Passport (original), all visa pages and stamp entries 2. Test of English. U can do NARIC certificate if you have a university degree. 3. Tuberculosis Certificate Original dated within 6 months of application (the only approved certificate is from Migration Health Assessment centre, you call them, book an appointment, ask for most recent cost, pay into their account, print and carry proof of payment. 4. in the event that marriage dont occur within six months, can the fiancee convert to other class of visa say study visa or something?. If marriage did not occur within six months, then after your six-months visa, u are expected to leave the UK. The fiancé visa can not be converted to any other visa only spouse visa by meeting the requirements. |
I greet you Lexus GS. hoping this isnt a wrong thread but I all I see here is spouse visa of people that are already married. Can a fiancee of a Uk citizen living in Uk apply for visa to join them there?
Do you want to join as in settlement OR u want to visit? If u want to join as in settlement, u can apply for fiancé visa, u will be given six months to get marry in the UK within the six months, which then u apply for further leave to remain (FLR) which is spouse visa for a duration of 2.5 years. For you to apply for fiancé visa u need to meet all the requirements like spouse visa. Except u don't pay for NHS. More so I can not work on a fiancé visa. If it is for visit u want, apply for visiting visa to visit for 5months and return bk to home country . |
OluayeHod:Yes it is experience hire. |
adamx23:I did not write test just did series of interview and medical and never heard from them again after talking about the salary. It was around Nov last year |
Tinkel:How long after medicals did u get y offer? Was it long or short? |
Dangote cement does not have a structured HR. One should not just have hope that after medical u get the job offer. Just Keep praying. I am very surprised that after medical, they called me to negotiate salary, I told them the least I can take. They can't even pay experience candidate 200 above. They told me they will call me back, but they never did. This is one month now I never heard from them. They are not organised at all. Most companies I know will negotiate salary with u bf u go for medical, after medical u get y offer. I am disappointed in their HR structure. |
adamx23:I am for cement |
Flexy99:Hmmm I hope so. This Dangote recruitment is not structured. I was called for medical early this year and after that, they called that my salary is too much, that they will get bk to me, they never called again |
2nioshine:But I taught u are working in Dangote from your post. |
