Radiography doesn't pay that much, and getting a job can even be a hassle.

What's the difference between community college and universities ??
Community college is a 2 yr program while a university is usually a 4 to 5yrs program(although some smart folks can do it for just 3yrs)
Community college can also be another route to go to a 4yr college if u choose not to take SAT or ACT.
Community college is by far more affordable compared to a university..

What is the range of their tuition fee for postgraduate studies
Tuition is quite high in the US,you should be looking at $30k to 100k per session, depending on d school though

You can work even if you are a student in America.
Food is cheap.
The only expensive bill is paying for your house, every other thing dey cheap.
"every other thing dey cheap"

Bros, I disagree with you strongly on d above statement. It depends on d state you are schooling at. Cost of living in some states is quite high e.gCalifornia, Florida, New york etc unless you live in some states like Texas, Kansas etc that is quite affordable.
Don't forget that school fees for intl student is also there, which is so expensive. I don't know what country the OP is referring to, but from my understanding and experience, only the kids of the wealthy in Naija come to the US to study without full scholarship.

I think everybody has the right to go for whatever best suits them in as much as they can afford it.
However, people who are financially educated would tell you buying a smart phone in the price range the OP posted is not worth it.
For example, I had bought a brand new Galaxy S3 in 2014 for #96k, and sold it just last week for just #27k and d phone still looks good.
Just imagine how d value depreciated just within abt 16mths.
If I had rather gone for an unknown brand name back then with similar features like d S3,and had invested the rest money on a more profitable venture, then I would have made more money rather than lose.

RomanceRe: When Someone Wants To Know If You Live In A House Or Apartment? by monsieursam64(m): 7:41am On Feb 26, 2016
Just like some had mentioned;
An apartment is a shared building among different tenants. Could be high class or low class, (but apartment na apartment)
While a house is a building you own with no tenants, and most times you live with relatives in the house.
N.B: The term House and Apartment is commonly used in the US to differentiate between those who own or rent.
You can easily distinguish an apartment address based on presence of apt/unit number, unlike a house address that has no apt/unit number.
Hope dis helps
EducationRe: How Tough Is Medicine And Surgery As A Course? by monsieursam64(m):
Without any shadow of doubt, medicine and surgery is one of the most difficult courses to study all over the globe. I was thinking naija factors was making it difficult for people in Nigeria, until I came to the United States and saw students studying like there is no tomorrow for their Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), just only to gain entry into Medical school. My very good friend who had left UNIBEN's school of medicine/surgery some years ago because he had a full scholarship in a US university, happened to have scored the highest PUTME score in his dept at the time(abt 89/100). Before he left UNIBEN in his 2nd year for the US, his GPA was about 4.94/5.00. To cut long story short, my guy completed his 4yrs premed in a prestigious US university with a CGPA of 3.97/4.00; prepared real hard for his first MCAT and passed all but Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills (MCAT CARS), where he was just 2 points off to have met the needed requirement. Anyways, he went back to the drawing board, studied harder and knocked out almighty MCAT on his 2nd attempt and he's about kickstarting another rigorous 4yrs in medical school. This guy studies without break... Jeez.. (I dont think i can ever do that)

Conclusively, medicine and surgery is still one of the toughest courses in the world and would continue that way for eternity, simply because of the volume of books to study, tough exams to write, as well as the long duration it may take to become fully certified.

No girl wanted to be my girlfriend.

Then, God answered my prayers & i traveled to America, those same people who called me useless & insane are the ones begging me for money now.
Though, i bust my ass here working, i make a very good amount of money every month.
I don't have a high school diploma but i make over $6000 every month.
I work for 5 days a week at $15 per hour.

I have many Nigerian girls wanting to date me.
Nigerian guys who called me useless begging me for cars & money.
I don't block them on Facebook, i only hide my presence on Facebook & chat with those i wanna chat with.

bros, the bolded does not match up. I assume that would have been a typo error, because even with 3 full time jobs at same hourly pay, u still won't earn $6000 every month.

Its minimum of OND. The writer about ISON is correct but if I may add, yyou have to be healthy I.e have good health to work with ISON BPO. That's just the truth. The job is stressful. Take it or leave it. It is good for a career in customer service.

Also, your training is 25days + 5days practical training(called OJT). After which you now go on 3months real OJT and then another 3months probation. If successful, you will now be handed a 1year renewable contract. Shikenah.

Training= 20k
3mnth OJT= 35k per month
3mnth Probation= 40k per month
1year contract=46k per month.

You work 5 days, 2days off. 9hrs/day (splitted 1hr break inclusive). There are 3 shifts.

You are sure of a renewed contract if you aint sacked.

Thank you. (Hope this helps).
the base pay to me is meagre. 46k per monthhuh
I wonder, why someone would have to talk over 8hrs everyday, and would still be given a paycheck in that amount.
I was not surprised when I realized it was an Indian owned company. They are only taking advantage of Nigerian graduates because of the high unemployment rate in d land. #Nigeriagobetteroneday
However, I won't discourage anyone from applying, this should only be to pay basic bills and strengthen CV, why man go de find a better job elsewhere.

Does anyone have any idea how much MTN pay their employees that work in the call centre?

pls sir try and have a brain transplant
read this and have a different orientation abt the definition of racism;
the term "racial discrimination" means any distinction, exclusion, restriction, or preference based on race , colour, descent , or national or ethnic origin that has the purpose or effect of nullifying or impairing the recognition, enjoyment or exercise, on an equal footing, of human rights and fundamental freedoms in the political,
economic, social, cultural or any other field of public life.
culled from Wikipedia.

EducationRe: Third Class And 2.2 In Our Federal Universities. by monsieursam64(m): 7:36pm On Aug 27, 2014
To some extent, students of fed univ, seems to be better academically than their counterparts from state/private univ. as a result of d herculean task involved in preparing and scaling thru d utme/putme exam. But that not withstanding, some students from state/private schools are still as smart as those in fed schools.
Consistency, hardwork, determination are very important to becoming smart irrespective of school attended nor it's location on d surface of planet earth.
I used to think Indian students are d smartest on earth, until i then realised how determined these kids are to be d best academically, with maximum support from their parents and relatives, coupled with their individual hardwork and dedication to their studies, they are doing exceptionally well academically..

VisaOfficer: Are you sure your friend is really the same person whose photo was originally submitted? We have pretty amazing facial recognition tools here... a different haircut wouldn't make a difference. With our tools, we can tell identical twins apart -- I've seen it happen myself! We can also look at someone who has changed dramatically over the past few years (weight gain or loss, scars, accidents, etc.) and still tell it's the same person. There are certain elements of a face that don't change and are as distinctive as fingerprints, and our tools are fairly sophisticated here.

As for engaging an attorney, that likely will not help. Winning a chance to interview does not guarantee that a visa will be granted; it's up to the applicant to convince the interviewing officer. If the applicant does not succeed, he or she will not receive a visa.
please sir, he has filed an appeal via an attorney 2wks ago. Does he still have a chance to be rescheduled for another interview?

@visa officer; you are doing a great work on here and i so much appreciate it.
Please, i have got a question to ask:
a friend of mine who is a dv2013 winner was denied a visa few weeks ago on the grounds that the passport photo he used during the online application is different from his current facial appearance. According to him, he tried to explain(he actually had lots of hair on his head during his online application, but while going for the interview, he cut his hair down i.e a low cut) but the CO didnt give him a chance.
Please sir my question is:
if he appeals the case via a lawyer, will he be giving another chance to be reinterviewed?
Thanks in anticipation to your response.
