The Senate has acknowledged receipt of the letter by the President asking for an extension of his leave/medical vac therefore, it means the Acting President will continue to act until Buhari writes another letter to Senate he would like to resume work. So no vacuum whatsoever.

If a letter is delivered to an institution like NASS, how do we prove what the content is? Moreover, has there been a notification to all members in plenary/deliberation of the letter?
The intention of the constitution is to lay it before the house in plenary, not just delivering a letter which no one knows its content as yet.

You did not understand what he said there. YarAdua had failed to abide by the constitution and thus left a vacuum which inadvertently led to chaos. Buhari was calling for intervention from House of Reps (the people have the mandate to impeach a president if he has failed to carry out the obligations of oath)

In Buhari's case there's no need for intervention, he has already done what is constitutionally required ahead of his incapacitation.

The issue is that as bad as d PMB govt has turned out to be,there is no candidate out there who is not utterly corrupt and whose ability to take us out of this economic nightmare is guaranteed.
Rather than vote in any member of d killer party,PDP,or face d grim prospects of another PMB term,if God keeps him,I feel Osinbajo,divinely enthrolled by circumstances and allowed a full 4yr term from 2019,is d safest option.
He may or maynot take us of d woods,but d nightmare of anyone of Saraki,Atiku,Lamido,Kwankwaso etc being president of this country,is a sure recipee of taking us back to the era of free looting,besides not aving any hope of having an economic plan to end d severe hardship in d land.

I blame his VP, he isn't fit and qualified for his position. The constitution of this country pictured an economic VP, reason why he heads the national economic council. But this government has no economic blue print. What the VP has which he advocates for day and night thru Laolu Akande is the 5k stipend. So u see he has no macro economic skills.

When this scheme came on board, i looked for spiritual opinion from our MOG. I wanted a stronger reason to give the many people that accosted me to join. The day i gave up was when i saw the picture of RCCG woman doing MMM seminar in Church. Even the sunday school teacher on one sunday service stylishly avoided my questions on this. i asked for biblical and spiritual explanation on this issue. its seemed only JW replied, and later released a statement warning members and advising them. Now, that things has changed, even the vilest sinner knows the dangers of MMM. So there is really no need giving out sermon now, co when it was required, you guys did not match up.

I wonder what was more direct and important to us between warning Nigerians about future MMM dangers and the many general prophecies that greeted us in January?

The last reason is not tenable. the presidency said it will conduct an investigation on the alleged breach by Mr. Lawal, not on whether he was given fair hearing by the senate. that he was not given fair trial at the senate does not affect his guilt or otherwise. so i will still ask, 'Mr. President, What is the result of ur investigation ON THE ALLEGED OFFENCE?

Even when the law court quashes a conviction on lack of fair hearing, it wont 'acquit' the accused, it will either discharge him(opening him up for re-arraignment) or order for a retrial. Buhari here went for an acquital, but he will subject his opposition to a higher test, and media trial.

if you still believe the anti corruption banner of this government, you are being delusional to yourself.
