Falana SAN was never a bar man, he is an avant garde. So am not surprised at his position. I don't know how many judges he, a senior lawyer, has exposed so far since he started practice. Now he is blaming the NBA. But from his press release, he chose not to mention on the legality of the raid. That alone should tell us he supports the illegality, all in the name of fighting corruption yet unproved. |
The Cable is now giving us examples from the US, they forgot to do that all along because its contrary to Buhari's style of Govt since he came in. They should have cited the example laid by Obama when he had his birth certificate scandal, so as to compel buhari to follow suit. The Cable should not give us this nonsense! |
bkool7:So which law is that? You guys will dance at buhari's tune at all cost. I am still waiting for the law u failed to tell us. Law lecturer. |
Nigerians are just good at defending ineptitude. Especially the educated ones. |
HungerBAD:You are not helping the government in this ur stance. Members of the bench has a procedure for their sanction, through the NJC, as was just done in the cases of Innocent Umezulike of Enugu and Justice Auta of Kano. Not through the DSS in this military style. When the consequences of these infractions to HR comes to PMB, just know u and many others goaded him on to destruction. And you are a young man. I pity u |
We can all see why there is love-lost between ibos and Rochas. Govt deliberately punishing its citizenry. |
SuperS1Panther:I beg to disagree. The resolutions reached at such conference doesn't have the force of law, it only becomes potent when the legislature adopts it and pass it into law. Before then, its only a recommendation which can be rejected or adopted. |
You can already guess the like excuses Yemi Osibanjo will give come 2019, on why they didn't construct any new road. Ones words will always come back to haunt you in future. |
Another litmus test for our dear president and his Northernization agenda. |
Some people really want Nigeria as presently constituted. A national conference comes up with a resolution which is presented to the legislature for their passing it into law, after their own input. Even the legislatures work with experts who proffers ideas and solution which they present to the house for debate. Dogara is just showing us he is part of the reason while the Nigerian law cannot be organic, and he has lots of company in that bloated house of REPtiles. |
The elites, like Umaru Dikko, are expecting when the masses begins to feed from the gutter before they will agree that there is hardship. The masses like the average faith filled Nigerian, are proclaiming by faith that the recession is not for them or their household. In the end, the mess continues, the elites flaunt their wealth publicly, while the masses groan, albeit silently. |
refreshrate:Ameeeeeeeeeen |
So what should the yardstick be ![]()
Economy?
Fight against corruption?
Free and fair election?
Human right?
Power?
Cost of governance?
security?Anyway, they said the change begins with me. Make I no talk. |
That an assets was declared only proves that it was declared, the ccb doesn't verify how the assets were acquired, whether corruptly or otherwise. |
Then the appropriate petition has not bEen lodged. ***picks pen & paper*** |
Aba needs a wholesome town planning and deep infrastructural repair; not the facials we are seeing here. IMO, the city should first be decongested through the building of new markets outside the city centre. |
The cat (pmb) has gone lame(ineffective) and the rats are running all around the room in liberty. |
Its not lagos police, its the nigeria police force. They behave alike, country-wide |
My dear fullofregrets Life is what u make of it. Try and understand that. The issue here makes you and ur ex holding to valid points. You made mistakes before now, and ought to be forgiven, much more when u are candid. I hope you meet a man who will understand u beyond your actions. That's love for me. You ex too deserves some understanding. What I ve seen makes me think so. Exactly ur case has played out in my hood, and the guy, while in the marriage, and without the wife conceiving, it became all sorts of issue. They say the greatest agony is childlessness, that's explains the recent quest now for pregnancy before wedding. Understand ur ex. Keep a good and healthy outlook, and love urself. |
Good Evening. I can make bold to say that Awka Road, Onitsha is the most important road in onitsha metropolis. This is due to the fact that its the major road that leads to the popular Onitsha main market, used by majority of businessmen that visit the market from the Idemili, Omagba and inland town axis. Also its importance is unrivalled, (the state Govt has failed/neglected to construct an alternative or by-pass to ease the heavy traffic on the road. While we expect vehicular movement to rise with the years( and it has proven right), the state government ought to put in motion a town planning strategy to ease this rise in the number of vehicles on this road and other roads of similar importance. But while we are dealing with the natural expectation of vehicular increase on the road, the state government has only added to the pains of its citizens and the general public, first by not keeping faith to having an alternate route, and secondly, by siting projects on sites abutting the road. The Onitsha Mall (shoprite) just started its operation earlier this year. That brought on additional stress and longer traffic at ABS junction. As if these are not enough stress, the state government especially its ministry of urban planning saw it fit to approve the building of a fuel station at Savoy junction - J.I Ejison oil and gas. Not that I grudge the ventures, but the inconvenience to the general public ought to be considered. A normal journey of 20 or 30 minutes at most, now takes an hour or more because of these enterprises and business obstruction. One can only question the rationale for siting Onitsha mall in the heart of Onitsha without a large access road. Or a small sized fuel station in small junction, the diesel pump is almost into the road. The crowd of customers also contribute to these stress on a single road of small colonial size. Well, all these speak to the dearth of proper implementation of our city maps and planning, which, even if in existence, is never referred to when building structures in Nigeria. |
Hitting Mr. Falana below the belt.
Don't mess with a professional in his own field. |
MarkMiwerds:One tenth of your increase whatever way it comes, as a farmer or a banker. |
A part of me says government has no business doing business; however I am mindful to remind myself that the sale of NEPA didn't serve us any useful purpose as a country. |
ShiaMuslim:I salute you politeness, its now a scarce commodity on NL. The issue here should be addressed how it should be addressed(lawfully) and not how the Nigerian government wants to handle it. The opinion and mindset of the eastern region as to their right to self determination is wholly lawful and shouldn't fret any 21st century government. We have seen cases from the UK, a country we try too hard to copy. The rallies conducted by IPOB has always been peaceful, the pockets of violence has always been precipitated by the trigger happy military men. when u said that any assembly protesting for his release is to be seen to be in support of him, you assumed that such assembly of protesters should be treated as treasonable felons. that doesn't mean that those who protest in support of Hon. Dogara or Jibril or even PEJ are the same with those they campaign for; the protesters have a right to hold an opinion of public repute. That is why it is illegal to shoot non violent protesters because they support a suspect. Its never done, you can see protesters on the streets and court alleys during trials of child rapists in the US, it doesn't empower the police to treat them as they would treat the felon in court. There is yet no justification for such actions. |
In abuja ?Demonstration get levels. If na IPOB's protest in the remotest part of onitsha, our military boys will turn to sylvester stallone, shooting all at sight. |
Another season film just began |
menxer:You really ve time for argument. |
menxer:Thank God he inherited something at all. Now what the OP is saying is that you are presumed educated but not the president. the word NOTHING was the problem, you can say u inherited little but not NOTHING. That word is an insult to us, as if nigeria was created from nothing in 2015. I know now u will channel ur thoughts aright. |
Sleep in different rooms.
Sleep together if u want to copulate. |
menxer:"Should have been"? Are u now suggesting topics for the OP? A critic, they say, know the price of everything, but knows the worth of nothing. Assimilate what is written. A compendium of pmb's lies can compete with chambers dictionary. Did the president inherit anything from his predecessors? Answer that. |
Why does buhari like announcing major government on the international scene? No the senate is drawn into debating a man's utterance in US about what he intends to do in NIGERIA. I even expected the senators to call off their vacation early due to the recession and switch into emergency duty to help salvage the economy. Now they are appearing from around the world to sit and argue how we have survived thus far. Politics in nigeria is hypocrisy. |
Wow.
Such a good news coming from Malawi. How nice. Buhari will still keep promising till 2019. Much shame to male chauvinists. |
