Mr. Presido. While we are battling the fall in price and ways to diversify, you went ahead to devolve our scarce resources on exploration of oil in the Chad basin, a project that has gulped up billions in dollars with no outcome. You didn't spend those resources on other sector waiting for intervention. Now I ask, are u aware that you are a hypocrite? |

realmindz: say no to religious blackmail. ..u are looking for excuses to ban hijab which is no solution to bombing, the agenda of the western infidels won't succeed. Islam must conquer That's what u think? No bro. It's not a blackmail. It's rather a security loophole created by tenaciously holding on to old practice that doesn't fit into today's complex society. One feature of tradition is that it is organic. |
Politics › Re: Shettima Visits Scene Of Suicide Attack In Maiduguri (Photos) by Montaque(m): 7:57pm On Mar 16, 2016 |
realmindz: mod pls ban this guy, how dare u insult my religion. hijab was ordained by prophet mohammed (peace be upon him) how dare u dare the religion of peace That's why the solution won't come. You can't look at the issue objectively. You are more concerned about your religious tenets that is in contradistinction from today's security practice. What of going about with swords and dagger. It's an old practice too. |

seunmsg: The problem with some of you is that you are always emotional when viewing critical issues. There is a reason why the CBN governor cannot be removed and there is a reason why CBN as an institution is independent of presidential control. The CBN governor has the needed legal backing to do things correctly and resist any attempt at interfering with his job. If anything is wrong with the recruitment, the governor should be solely held responsible.
When we are serious about making things work in Nigeria, we will apportion blame pragmatically and not based on tribal sentiments and emotions. I heard when their was rumor that the governor may be sacked. Later it died down. Don't u think that post is not independent as the law would have it? Asides, those appointed are related to the political elites, it couldn't have happened without their being complicite. We are not yet ready to fight corruption |
Politics › Re: How Policymakers Can Put Africa Back On Upward Trajectory- Ngozi Okonjo Iweala by Montaque(m): 2:57pm On Mar 15, 2016 |
TCD: It is PMB and kemi that caused the crash in the price of oil right?
When this silly woman was finance minister for many years oil prices were way high over $100. She and the ineffectual buffoon refused to plan ahead and diversify our economy. like oil will last forever . In this article she claims dubai started more than 3 decades ago to prepare for a future without oil... so she knew all these yet she and her boss preferred to prepare for a future without oil for their families alone by looting us dry and sharing 2.1billlion dollars and disappearing 20billion dollars from NNPC.
we are paying for the price of their stupidity now. Pmb believes in diversification too? There is no better time to diversify than now. Tell kemi that and let them face their work instead of looking for scapegoat. Tell your Apc governor-saints that the chicken has finally come home to roast. |

Yet she did better than a less than one year old government. Na wa. This Nigerian attribute of sentiment and fear of truth is going to finish this country Yes she stayed for 16 years. Clap 4 yourself |

Sochimaobim: So this is Abuja stadium? Supposedly the 'Wembly' stadium of Nigeria. I really cant spot any difference between that grass and the one in the field of my village. How much is it gonna cost to make that grass look standard?? Or is it just the training pitch and not the main field. Just wondering.. OK, not the main pitch, I can see, but still.. The grass inside the pitch is better. I know of this as at last year, it was looking like anfield. Wish my team Goodluck. Win both home and away. |

I pity fellow youths. I don't know what they gain by all that cult thing. Money, u don't have, honor, u don't have, ur family is still feeding you, ur life is not safe, you can't be allowed into the high echelons of the society, u are unemployed, etc. Then in school, even free boys were better in all ramifications than cult boys. There is no gain there. Two boys were killed in my street last week over this cult fracas. Cut down in their prime and a total waste to family n friends |
