he would have swung into action had gej been named n the leak. Integrity my foot. |
its not a problem with individual banks. its government policy aimed at raising tax to augment the budget shortfall. I thought people are happy with it. they said thats how its done abroad and that we should brace up for it cos we must pay tax. I like it because we all suffer it. No tax from all the mineral resources up north which they state governments mine for their state n personal use. No luxury tax on the way our politicians enjoy their wealth No tax on so many taxable income n expenditure, yet government will deem it fit to tax on savings in the bank, increase tarrif for no electricity, refused to advance soft loans to sme's, cannot make the bank loan regime affordable n light. |
if Gej has been indicted... Buhari would have released a statement elrufai would have been on radio n tv channels would have been awashed with threats from oyegun n obj nairalanders apc fan would have created many fp post to decry it osibanjo would have given many lectures on it how he stole us dry soyinka would speak from his sitting room efcc would issue their threats of inviting interpol dss would have gone to search bayelsa. anyway, the name they want to see isnt there, and buhari' s anticorruption is on hibernation. When he travels abroad, u will think he is in tune with the global trend, but the panama leaks shows our president isnt a globally minded citizen. what will he tell obama when next they sit, about his efforts to investigate those whose names were in the leaks? |
“It is for this reason that the Federal Government will be prioritizing the adopting and execution of the National oil and gas master plan this year." This program was birthed by the last administration and commissioned last year in bayelsa. it was hoped that it will help the power generation country wide. Anyway, let me not say its a pdp agenda, cos it might make them to jettison it. cc: those who dont see any good thing in GEJ. |
The most cerebral governor, ex gov. fayemi. lets see what his brain has done and can do in his portfolio as a minister. Book isnt everything |
obailala:No. the protest was because of the outstanding subsidy money owed them, and buhari and his party believe there is no subsidy or that its a scam. Buhari on assumption, directed all subsidy from january to stop, and nnpc to take over importation of all pms while supplemented with a part from local refinery product. they oil marketers had just sat back to know how long nnpc can shoulder that responsibilty and look at where we are now. the last I know is that govt wants to resume subsidy again and allow the marketers to resume import since nnpc isnt up to task alone |
obailala:ok. there is a practice with which subsidy is paid that made it assessible in arrears. and it has been ongoing without hitch till may 2015. because of the legitimate fears I explained earlier. The payment of subsidy isnt a matter ofcourse, it needs be verified before payment, after the product is discharged, and because of the volume in the whole country, it takes time to verify and offset the debt, but the marketers wanted an all at once payment which resulted in the lockdown, although uba broke rank and sold despite the marketers agreement not to sell. mind u, their were enough pms in the marketers depot but they refused to offload n supply until their demands r met. Presently, the importers did not refuse to import fuel as u said. NNPC took over the business of Import cos govt thought they can import alone and supplement with the 40% produced locally. but they saw they cant do it since the one locally produced isnt guaranteed. who do u blame now, the marketers that were stopped or the govt that couldnt do their forcast well to understand that they cant monopolize import effectively? Shalom. |
bloodyBLOGGER:I know I didnt wish to be drawn into an arguement with u, let me set the records straight. Some fuel marketers last week took the blame for the present scarcity even when nnpc has disengaged them. thats a typical case of what u want us to believe. one of the marketers from the east saved the situation then when he was the only marketer distributing fuel when all others were on strike. and their arrear were amortised before buhari came in. |
obailala:Sorry for that. petroluem marketers who were owed some arrears were afraid that the new administration will nit settle the debt because buhari disclaimed subsidy payment. so the marketers went on industrial action to force govt to pay them before leaving. thats what resulted in that may 2015 scarcity. |
long expected. TUC NLC. NBA ASUU Make una come for our rescue |
insensitive buhari |
One of the reasons I disbelieved him then. Tho he is entitled to his opinion as a nigerian. but I have always been objective on such issues. A pastor is only an authority on spiritual matters. all other vocation in life has its own authority/professionals. its only in nigeria that we give people credit for what they have no knowledge about and where their words doesnt proceed from their expertise. So I respect his personal views, but I know where to look when assessing an election candidate. |
he should now resign for #panamapapers. always putting naija in bad spotlight |
DauraDullard0:No. the tfare (subsidy) is higher when u are going north. |
989900:the judiciary is corrupt but hardly at the supreme court. most of the corruption cases are at the high court both state n federal. Now we just use the smear for all hierarchy. can u stop corrupt practices that way? imagine bayo on sahara reporters insulting the supreme court justices. their judgments are well reasoned n just. but he has insulted n will keep insulting them, now ask urself what will happen tomorrow if they reach judgment against apc? u may site corruption but its like saying nigeria is corrupt when there r good people here. |
989900:to build institutions in my sense, is to broaden the activities of govt. allow all sectors to work on independent mode, in that sense we have a low impression seeing the way the various ministers r faring in their ministry. some of them r tied directly to pmb like pet. The legislatures hasnt been independent as expected. they seem to be on the same page with the executive. u hardly see saraki n dogara take a diff view from pmb on issues. the cct case used to hound saraki is still hot. the judiciary has the worst hit. the presidents men openly run them down. even pmb on media chat openly asserted his moral bearing on their decision. I may be wrong but I am seeing the signs of a president foisting his opinion on his ministers agaisnt their opinion. |
We learnt the true meaning of the word scam |
Just a simple assignment in his ministry, pmb cant achieve |
What u can achieve in the military era within a period say 6months can surpass a civilians achievement in a year. but what you have damaged in that period say in the mentality n psyche of the citizenry is more. Lets wait till 2019. just that pmb isnt building on our institutional structure |
ok. Arrogance from his handlers. I get it |
Since midnight prayers no longer attract men. |
Hmmmmm. tiger generator: Buhari once banned u SON hates u Importers brought in your bigger rivals but you have managed to stay intact in the mainstream |
Do u believe the use of force by the nigerian army was beyond what was expected in the circumstances, and he is rambling like a ram |
Kanu Agabi secretly filed motion in Justice Abdu-Kafarati's court to squash the case against Bukola Abiku Mesujamba Saraki (BAMS). So Bayo doesnt know the import of motion exparte? |
By 2019, the little 'integrity' left in buhari wont give him face in the polity not to talk of refering to gej. |
Mr. integrity my foot |
Good to know that the almajiri okada riders are enjoying their chanji |
Enjoy it while it lasts. faleke is coming for u |
AntiWailer:Who is tanto dike? |
AntiWailer:osibanjo that seems not to be present in aso rock. do u feel him at all? |
I can. just have two bedroom, one for you and the other for him |
Wow. Have u read 'The point man'. you need to read it, and stay faithful. You ought to be a one woman's man |
