I don't know why the igbos are hell bent on disobeying this Great king. They should remember that he who the gods want to kill will first run mad. Igbos should be grateful to the Yoruba for accomodating them and their businesses. They should not take our silence for cowardice. Be warned angry

JK speaks well, but when you see his record and experience you understand he can not do as well as Ambode a man well placed in Lagos politics and management over the last 8-10 years. This is a man who has come up from the grassroots and is on the verge of leading the state.

JK on the other hand was born with a silver spoon and through providence was hand picked by Afenifere God fathers and mentored, yes we can agree he loves his people, state a d has some very interesting ideas , he however is disillusioned , his character does not match that of his association in PDP; look at the people behind JK in Lagos , Obanikoro, Bode George etc

Once he wins the PDP may use him as a tool to disrupt FG policies and Lagos is just too crucial to the country to have such disruption there. Some of his policies are ridiculous he wants to reverse some of development plans set in stone in the state because they are APC ideas.

Lagos stands to gain from an alliance with FG and coalition of efforts not a struggle with it.

APC would win and resoundingly so , but the Igbo may find themselves at the mercy of the APC afterwards.
you have judged the candidates well, in your opinion you have a preferred candidate. I won't trouble you about it,nor threaten you,cos its ur right.
That is the beauty of democracy.
But it is unacceptable when someone wants to force his choice on people, a traditional ruler for that matter, that is what we call reprehensible.
It also a shame that people re-echo what he said in support, and they call themselves democrats.
Vote your candidate and leave others to their choice.

Can a yoruba man win a constituency election in Enugu irrespective of how long he has served that community, if the igbo can not elect their kins-man Ngige out of hatred of SW and North; I rest my case ! The Igbo community should ready themselves for an uncomfortable experience if Jimi wins what is perceived as a disproportionate amount of igbo votes, because JK himself would not be able to guarantee their interest.

I however do no agree with the Oba's method of going about this, he can not force anyone to vote in a certain way. I would however not underestimate Akiolu's threats, I pray those Ndigbo Reps are safe.
Ngige lost to a better candidate, I will tell you that categorically. The woman he lost to, Hon. Uche performed better as a HOR member,so she was elevated to the senate. I believe u don't expect us to refuse a better candidate because of having Ngige as SP.
Why the threat from you? I should ask you and HRH (with respect) what issues you have with your brother JK? You accepted that the Oba erred with his choice of words, but u also did what he did, what uncomfortable experience are u talking about?

I served in the south eastern part of the country, Igbos are not as friendly as we are to them, they need to respect the other tribes in Nigeria, the hatred is just too much , They are too tribalistic to even head any government parastatal, Lagos has given igbos more than they can give anyone in their own land, Igbos have a serving commissioner and also key officials in Lagos civil service from PS to directors in Ministries, a lot of Sec./Pry. school principal (state owned) are igbos, we don't discriminate against you guys, Dear Igbos don't bite the fingers that fed you.
Oba has spoken, let is sink into their skulls , Lagos is a Yoruba state not a no mans land, because you are permited to stay due to the friendliness of lagosian, don't take us for granted.
if any Igbo man complains about tax or other policies of this govt, Have a rethink, this policy affect all not the igbos alone, so we should stop the saying that this govt is targeting igbos alone.

Eko oni baje....Eko atesiwaju oooo
you must be a graduate then.
And after NYSC,you still think this way?
My brother, this threat is anti-democratic, and the younger generation shouldn't toe that line. Allow people to cast their vote according to their individual conscience.
Every Nigerian ve a right to stay anywhere in the country, coupled with a right to vote and be voted for anywhere he resides.
What will you say of Ibos that support ambo,or the southerners that voted GMB, or the muslims that voted GEJ, or bayelsans that voted GMB? that is their guaranteed choice. Let us stop taking Nigeria back to the dark ages.

Obama's case should have taught us a lesson.
Let us shun tribalism,including HRH

Flets:
once posted the comments below and was called names and referred to my post as a threat. Gradually, I shall be ticking off the events as they occur.

How do we avoid the impending dangers to Nigeria’s economy and existence under a Buhari presidency?

We must need to face reality as there is no magic in governance.

Extremely hard times lies ahead for this country if Buhari ever emerges victorious.

How do you explain to a Niger Deltan that despite GEJ's achievements in almost all sectors, roads, bridges, railways, agriculture, automobile, alamajiri schools, new universities, fertilizer and ghost worker scam elimination, freedom of press, FOI, free and fair elections, power sector. .........etc, he is still booted out.

What will stop the creeks from going haywire again? Buhari will send the troops to the creeks and together they will set the oil facilities ablaze.

OBJ's use of JTF force could not help as no Oil producing company will risk producing crude and killing staff in a volatile region.

GEJ under Yaradua had to get down to the creeks to to talk to these boys and effect the amnesty program because they found him as a representation in government.

It will be impossible to convince a ND minority albeit a militant that their own was not persecuted out of office. And that will be the theme of their new struggle.

The long term solution to this mess is implementing the Confab report and enthroning true federalism.

A lot of opportunities are springing up around Africa and the IOCs are already geared towards investing in these newer and saner climes than invest in an unstable Niger delta .

And while these troubles persists, the oil producing companies will simply withdraw their personnel from the volatile region and all foreign investments will seize in all sectors.

Unfortunately, even if the Nigerian troops kill 90% of the militants, it will take just one militant, a dynamite and just one strategic location along the multi- kilometer trunk lines to continue to wreck havoc to the Nigerian economy.

Fast forward to 2019, if we remain one country and without a civil war,, we will be an economic wreck with no allocations and salaries, no capital projects, no hope with dollar exchanging for 400 naira and we are worse off than we were in 2015.

Cos the truth is that without crude proceeds for now, Nigeria is finished. And then, we'll be screaming another 'Change' because we would have learnt a bitter lesson in the hands of the Fulanis, Tinubu and Saraki. And then we will ask.... Why were we this silly?

And before you quote me, make sure you outline in clear terms how you or Buhari will avert this obvious calamity staring us in the face

Only last week, they creek boys seem to have resumed activities by kidnapping at Yoho facility operated by Exxonmobil and have shut in 80KBD already.

Are we ready for this for the next 4 years?

The entire world stands to benefit from a crisis in the Niger delta. Its not a coincidence that USA who abandoned us at the height of bokoharam is busy shouting for change in govt .

Crises in the ND will reduce supply of crude to the Oil market and that would drive up the price of crude for producing countries.... But at Nigeria's expense.

Is Buhari is any way a better Democratic president than GEJ? Is this risk worth it?

Nigerians.... Be Warned!!!
I don't think you are helping Nigeria, nor the militants who you are goading to untimely death.
Don't threaten us, advice the "militants" to be civilised. This is the 21st century, not some hobbesian society.

Pls don't take anything away from the man's golden moment. He had options. He could have remained silent nd said nothing. Was he tamed by Africa's peace keepers when he maintained his calm despite the whole card reader debacle on saturday? Was he tamed by Africa's peace keepers when he told his party not to contest the result at the tribunal? That you don't like him, doesn't mean he's not a gentleman. Everyone that has met Jonathan personally has attested to the fact that the man is a pure gentleman and a man of peace. Even Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, despite all his issues with Jonathan kept saying, Jonathan is a good man, surrounded by bad advicers. Pls join the whole world in celebrating this man.
Thank you bro.
From the statements he made before the press after the troubles with the card reader, i knew that he will concede if he loses.
The man has a place in my heart. He did what his assailants never did and will find hard to do.

I've also seen men who because of the fear of losing their wives, stopped them from achieving their goals in life. must he marry her? leave her to realize her dreams. there're a lot of girls that are ready to marry him.
every of these situation can be negotiated. the man hasnt said she should not achieve her dreams.

The man is definitely not right. no need to pray. he wants to enslave her. the best he could have done is to tell her to do introduction with him and then go for her masters. Part time masters for that matter.
don't judge a fellow man harshly before meeting him.
Take a careful look at the flow of thought of the written article of the OP, you will discover she is not the "fluid" witty type. She may not have given up herself to negotiating with this man.
This man may be averting the possibility of losing his wife to a sleek uni bf, we were also in sch and we knew what happened. I even decided to marry a woman who is out of sch completely.
So don't blame the man,he is securing what he wants to have, and may have given ultimatum because of the way the lady is going about it.
The only serious issue is the G factor. The OP should hear from God PERSONALLY... We saw some prophecy go wrong during the last election.

Jonathan, with all due respect is a progenitor of violence and an advocate of terrorism.

How on earth could this happen in a democratic clime?

Anyway, the die is cast.no retreat no surrender.

#iHaveDecided to vote out economic stagnancy and global-known maladministration.

SAI BUHARI.
the best thing APC has done as a party is to invent a scapegoat for Nigerians, who will take all the blames.
So it is now GEJ that is the progenitor of violence?
If GMB had complied with simple instruction since last year,we will not be in this crossroad by now, and yet you blame a man that has nothing to do with his non compliance.
Why not blame the APC chieftains n fans who gave GMB a risky hope that nothing will come out of this Certificate and perjury issues?
Jega avoided the daunting task of doing his work and wisely shifted this issue to the courts, you still want to blame Mr. President.
