APC should not threaten Nigeria Because they had all the time since November to do what is expected of them and their candidate by INEC. People just like to put the country in an invidious situation. PDP is using APC's signature against them, No more eye service judgement, the change starts now,No one is above the law. |

Justice Ademola needs to do further consultation. This is a hard nut to crack.
Its funny the greatest argument from my friends on GMB's side is a disguised threat- that the judge should consider national interest and peace. Especially in the North.
Let's wait till tomorrow then. |

This judgement reminds me of the day the policeman assigned to my friend in the last election removed his uniform and escaped from the polling station because our area thugs decided to brandish their patented swords and daggers, and left the poor girl to her fate in-between the irate thugs. Well my question: assuming INEC will pay you 100k(which is above what is to be paid electoral officers this year) for you to work as an election officer in say Kastina state, with only the NPF and NSCDC providing security, will you take the job |

paabakp: have U ever seen a debate where candidates would be allowed to read written answers.
How can we sincerely call that a debate
Jonathan has embarrass the presidency by simply not being able to answer simple questions off hand without carry expo
From Jona performance today, a serious panel will score him zero.
Nigerians this man does not have the intellectual requirements to transform Nigeria.
even if one has seen the questions before an exam, it is only the stupid ones that will still carry answers in to the exam hall, an habit that is hard to leave, as evidently seen in today's debate.
We should stop following our leaders blindly.
lastly, Buhari has the constitutional right to refuse to attend to any so called debate, afterall the current president did same in 2011. yes, neither does Nigerians have the constitutional right to know the capabilities of a candidate in an election. Its sad that you are making excuses for your candidate this early. Instead of insisting that he proves himself, yo have made excuses for him on all issues questioning his ability. I hope you will expect anything when he wins or loose. |

Truly, Nigerians are not assertive concerning the things they expect of their leaders. That's why, instead of encouraging debates at this 21st century, we are rather making excuses for would-be leaders who fail to do the least of the things expected of them.
No matter the excuse you might give for GMB,this isn't a good sign to display in this time. For Gods sake, we are to make a choice on 28th, not obedience to an order. |

Christianity Etc › Re: Rich Churches, Poor Members by Montaque(m): 6:25am On Mar 22, 2015 |
I think part of the problem is because our churches practice Nigerian style federalism. All the local churches sweat to enrich the national headquarters. A bigger percentage of what the local churches get is transferred to the headquarters where it won't be of much help to the local members that contributed it. Just like a local church sending 60% of its 'revenue' or even 80% in some months, leaving just a peanut for their daily maintenance. Its Just like the secular constitutional/foundational problems in Nigeria, and its resultant effects on the states.
Anyway, christianity is a personal race, just do your humble part, satisfy your conscience and leave the rest to God who is the judge of all things. Godbless Nigeria |

PassingShot: To avoid a post-election violence begins with the government at the center doing the right things and respecting the people's wish. Not everyone is reasonable enough to wait to go to court after you have denied them of their wish/voice, especially when you're dealing with uneducated citizens. Besides, people are right to lose hope in the judiciary going by what they have witnessed in the past where judgment is given to those who can purchase it as if it is commodity. Let GEJ/PDP allow INEC conduct free, fair and credible elections and see how Nigerians will refrain from violence. If the opposition APC loses the next presidential election in a free, fair and credible poll, they won't have a choice than to call on their supporters to respect the outcome. But when there are cases of rigging as was the case in the past, be prepare for whatever comes out of it.
We have seen that PDP, after sixteen years at the center does not mean well for Nigeria. PDP is a party of violence; a party of killers; a party of looters and a party of crooks currently spear-headed by a clueless and wicked man from a village called Otuoke in Bayelsa state. Don't make me laugh this morning. So its only GEJ/PDP that has the obligation to ensure free, fair and safe election? Infact let me go straight to the point, the APC/their sword-wielding fans are the reason for the great fear of 2015,because they always believe its either GMB or the election was rigged. And GMB cried not for the lives and property lost, but rather for loosing in 2011. And what is more, no apology till date. To even add salt to injury, you forgot what happened just 3years ago. I say again, don't make me laugh this morning. |

From the cotton farms to the textile.mill we can see the future of Nigerian manufacturing, from the cattle to the tannery to leather factories in kano and kaduna. What of foods, agro allied, carpet. Dangote is the richest black man alive. Atiku probably has 20 small scale industries in many sectors. Many hundred hidden northern manufacturers in many sectors. When Dangote finishes his refinery, the Igbo importers and sellers of petrol and diesel will.have to run out of the ciuntry. lmao!
