nezan u have a point, now thats when age really matters |
ehen, i said mikel was a waste, all i got was abuses. na cheddar e dey pursue now, as chidichris said, he is an established big boy. big boy my feet |
@ Nazzyon actually, you have a point. well said. but i think he shd have kept his feelings to himself becos it only shows ignorance |
i just dont know why i would be lying for God sake, did yu know that the iphone is based on hardware is a comb of diff hardware from diff companies?? and apple only has the patent on software and design?? The apple iphone will be released in some countries Japan inclusive. The carrier in Japan SOFTBANK network has it in possession. i did not say it is widely avaliable, did u read my post well?? The Carrier here visited where i work to advertise it because according to reports, the iphone might not sell as they suspected. how do u even know that AT&T doesnt have it? i know you are popular or have some knowledge but is that a crieteria for been right all the time?? got nothing against you just that i am not a born liar my two yen |
@ Lungwun I know what you mean with regards to xperia becos i had a friend who disliked it. this was surpose to be an example. my point is that apple has lost its way since the disappearance of Stevie. I stand to be corrected, if i had an iphone now, i did stick to it and get the free software upgrade becos its basically the same thing except for the increase in space 32GB and 16GB and the total elemination of 8GB. gee |
just finished playing with one provided for enterprise testing purposes its comes with a 3megapixel camera, thats abt it on the hardware front. on the software point, its comes preload with OSX 3.0 which includes some stuff that other phones have like MMS, cut/cpy/paste function etc Point is i like the iphone. i dont use one but i like it. its baffles me how apple is able to sell its crippled equipment and peeps still buy: ok pls dont rain abuses on me. i am just saying that apple should have come out with new innovations to shut the trap on competitors, at this point, i did take an omnia, Diamond 2 or even an Xperia over an iphone maybe becos i am a winmo fan but i will never say something is bad if indeed its good. IPHONE 3GS is not worth the upgrade my 1 yen |
Chidichris, You Again?? |
TUNIS 2------MOS 0 nigeria beta win this match, else we are in soup. |
@ poster did yu know that with each human being, comes diff characters?? for future reference, pls have that at the back of your mind. no one can be like you. you have to learn to adapt if you want to be with somone based on yur description, i did say that those guys were creeps. Also, dont be demanding, like maybe you have a dream guy in yur head and you want that guy to act just like yur dream guy, that aint gonna work. its will only scare the guy away. my 2yen |

age is nothing but a number, its all about maturity of the mind and head. erm ok, so the guys are always chasing skirts, agreed. the women are guiltless?? |
erm 6600 has a very bad battery life. small tip, drain yur battery and let it shut down by itself then charge for 5hrs, u will see improvements. another trick is to restore to factory mode. pls back up yur data when yu do such a thing, |
house, please bear with me, @ poster yu are an ode, infact a mumu. did u know that with size, comes features. so u want to say that becos the iphone is big, u will not use it?? OYO. just popped into my head that ur trying to get attention, |
@ poster yu are getting it all wrong. have you been reading?? ok heres the deal, yu need to go to the Japanese embassy in abuja (by force) and get the forms there. visa section is open from 9am to 12pm. get the forms, fill it out and submit with other necessary documents that i told u to get. based on that, they will tell u whether or not u qualify for an interview or not. if u do, then u get the date and thats it. pls bear in mind that it is very very difficult to get the visa. you have to be extra convincing, my 2 yen |
technically, with some naija sense, the plane can land. the are three problems though, 1. the landing will be giri giri 2. its requires two air bridges but since the B747 can land in MMA, the upper deck can just use one bridge ![]() 3. the terminal is just too small. the immigrations and the baggage peeps will not haveit easy. flew from tokyo tp changi on this bird with singapore airlines. it is biggggg and crapfish class is terrible. |
@ obingin43 its not that hard, if u have a correct person over here. my parents came here recently and they used same route i just gave u and everything clicked, good luck, @ karaoke you stated that its better to enter japan with a student visa?? did u read his post well?? the poster stated that he would be visiting his fiancee for 1 month, if he had to go the student visa route, it would take time, plus he needs to spend more money |
Tell her to send you a copy of her alien registration card and invitation letter. thats all yu need frm her. then you need to get yur ticket done plus the reason why yur going and how long yu will be staying there and who you will be staying with. then yu got to prove to them that you have 500,000naria. thats basically it. |
The following steps show how to create free ringtones for your iPhone using only iTunes and songs you already have on your computer. Note: This method only works with songs that are DRM free. To make iPhone ringtones using only iTunes: 1. Right click on the song you are going to make into a ringer and select "Get Info". 2. Go to the "Options" tab and go down to the "Start Time" and "Stop Time" check boxes. Check both boxes and input the time you want your ringer to start/stop. The ringer has to be 30 seconds or less. Click "OK" when you're done. 3. Right click on your newly "clipped" song and select "Convert Selection to AAC". The song will be re-encoded using the start and stop times determined (If your menu item does not read "Convert Selection to AAC" and reads "Convert Slection to MP3" (or some other format) please go to iTunes -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Importing and change the "Import Using" drop down menu to "AAC Encoder" . 4. After the song is done encoding navigate to your iTunes Music folder, locate your song, and drag it to your desktop. After the song is on your desktop go back to iTunes and delete the clipped version from you iTunes library (It won't delete it from your desktop, it will only remove it from iTunes). 5. Go back the song on your desktop and right click on your song and chose "Properties". Go to the name and extension section and change the extension from .m4a to .m4r (or you can just change the extension right from your desktop). 6. After the extension is changed simply double click on the file to add it to your iTunes library under the ringtones section. Sync your phone with iTunes and you're done! Note: Remember to go back into iTunes and uncheck your custom start and stop times for the original version of your song. Also, ringtone content made using this method can also be used for other fones that support AAC File Format. there are some cases though that i have tried where this method cannot be used but that is quite rare, |
there are two ways. update to vista ultimate and download the MUI Package or backup yur drivers and install a brand nu copy of windows. i can give yu tutorials abt that cos i do it all the time. for free if i might add. |
i think there is another way of seeing this, the mtn and zain 3g package been offered cannot and will not be a replaced by hardwired internet. just discovered that back in singapore there is also a 3gb limit on data plans meant for the iphone. this service is provided by the national carrier singtel. sooo maybe there is no real reason to scold both operators. the peeps that need some spanking is starcomms, glo and nitel, my two cents |
thats feature is a windows vista only feature, why are peeps making things up. @ Seun thank you very much. pls tell him, |

@ eric2k2 thats what i have been trying to say. this problem is not just with whether or not we have the cables. its generally difficult doing business in nigeria. how can we expect an invest billions of naria into something that has k-leg?? Richard brason is secretly regreting for investing in nigeria but i must say he was bold to even try, |
@ babzyshe but we also have the foundation. the problem is that we are not using it well. this is my point. nitel had the chance to atleast provide nigeria with at least 700kbps per home. if we had that kind of consistent speeds, we wouldnt be having this kind of conversation. as a matter of fact, i think the topic would be HOW CAN NIGERIA GET 10mbps. |
@ redman44 & Dis Guy tell them ooh, i was asked if i have used mtn and zain before before jumping into conclusions, technology is a straight forward thing, its either you have it or u dont, whats the ideal with crawling bf walking. for the lack of stable internet services, companies like mtn will put download quotas of 3gb. kai don use am open office for our head. @ Babzyshe you do make a valid point but the issue is will that connection get to the final consumer?? here in japan, you click on a weblink and bam, its open, no delays and its cheap but check out starcomms. trying clicking on a link, walaahi, you would have made eba and okro before it opens. honestly, my guess is that its gonna be difficult getting broadband in nigeria. |
@ honeric01 those guys are not even close to broadband. thats a mini adsl. datacards have their limits |
@ poster nice topic. let me break it down to you. as someone on this thread stated, if you need fast internet, you got to pay with yur hands and legs. this is becos it is really difficult to do business in nigeria. the capital required to setup such an enterprise runs into billions if not trillions. first, you have to buy the license from NCC (i do not need to state how much that will cost) ofcourse you could go for an alternate route by buying out a company like Nitel so that you do not need to go through licensing but ooh wait up will nitel be willing to sell?? secondly, we have the issue of equipments. u cant depend on nitel sat-3. this means you have to create your own gateway. running into billions already, ![]() then yiu have the issue of maintenance and powering of those heavy equipments. phcn is a big joke. what does this mean?? this means lots and lots of generators oops sorry plants, infact, if i go on and on, this would turn into a thesis. there is only one solution. nitel or globacom shd get it act together, thats all. not to put money for pocket, |
