Shersky:You are accurate and the numbers are not neccessary over exaggerated. however the issue is not the amount being spent on importation but on the AGRIC sector in the country. Since Obasanjo's time we have been hearing, focus focus focus onthe agric sector yet 10+ years and no change. Thats the big take away here. |
Abeg make God wait until after Brazil 2014 World cup make I go rock with those Brazilian babes. After that no problem |

The US stress about the Value of the Chinese currency not the naira, because a lot of the goods DUMPED in the US are from China but oil from naija is priced in US$ so why would they try to control your unimportant currency?? THEY ACTUALLY WANT THE CHINESE CURRENCY TO RISE IN VALUE! NIGERIA IS NOT THE 51ST STATE OF THE UNITED STATES, YOU ARE NOT AS IMPORTANT TO AMERICA AS YOU LIKE TO BELIEVE, PUUULLEEESSSSSEEEE!! [/quote]hehehehehehehe! Bros abeg if I see you I go buy you one big stout for that one. |
Speculators and financiers have been predicting that there has been a downward pressure on the Naira to adjust to its is true value regardless of what the CBN governor has argued as reasons for holding the naira stable The market will adjust itself no matter how hard you try to regulate round inflation which is technically at 12%. Its supply demand principles. Basic economics See report at 2:40 mins [flash=400,200] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HY-PTzytHPo&feature=channel_video_title[/flash] |
I am literally speechless :0 After naija go dey shout about human rights for other country. |
MandingoII:So are you a Westerner? or a watered down version of an authentic African? |
MandingoII:Boy, whatcha know about Patrice ? |
This is a "market solution" to the inability of Greece to manage debt spending which very much includes entitlement programs and social safety net systems. Something the citizens of greece enjoyed and could not pay for in the first place on grounds of keeping up with EU living standards. The people are in their right to voice opposition however I really don't believe they have any alternatives to offer other than blaming rich folk, which is the usual class warfare rhetoric. Greek is exercising the practical measure of downgrading its assests and looking for market efficient meanss to sell them to whoever wants to assume this risk and build value back up in the long term In economic terms there will always be short term "loosers" no matter which way you try to swing the pendulum swings. Down grade and sell off. Defaulting or exiting the EU is possible but is far more "riskier" in the long term analysis in terms of recovery. |
cap28:says alot about your bias. Its easy to deduce you still very much in your twenties. The zeal of youngsters. Oh how I reminisce ![]() |
MandingoII:I think you need to take an ancestral DNA test. You just might be surprised :0 Oh by the way you are right the foreign affairs section is really boring without your usual rantings. i guess we have finally found a niche for you in nairaland. Forum jester! |
MandingoII:if ya'llhaven't figured it out yet. Mandingo is the BASTARD son of a Nigerian father who impregnated his mother in the 70's and ran away leaving him to suffer unimaginable ridicule by his fellow American comprades. He is really lashing out at his irresponsible father. it's okay Dingo. I feel ya!! |
Sun of god:Enlightenment!!! lol |
@ Mandingo Why do I feel nostalgic about this thread Hmmmmmm ? |
Viva S. Sudan. The blood split has not been in vain!!! Good luck and Godspeed! |
The important phrase you dumbo is "THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS". You first have to define what a country or a community considers to be the meaning and embodiment of the word "happiness." The united states only gurantees the "pursuit of" not happiness itself. I don't see were any other constitution established by any other country would not intrinsicly gurantee these same rights. Without explicit wording, all other rights, such as freedom of religion, of speech and of association are contingent upon this particular aspiration of the human experience and every DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED government would be obliged "wording" or no "wording" to gurantee the same for its citizens. Thats a basic given, don't you think? |
MandingoII:Aint that the truth! |
because the world is retreating back to national sovereignty discussions. |
@ poster False alarm. The so called "American dream" is being redefined, Read your history books. Its a cycle that has continued to evolve over time. 1930's , 1980's, 2007 |

davidylan:Word of advice Davidlyn, You beating your head against a stone wall. These guy can not think objectively. they are driven by pseudo revolutionary thinking that frames and fuels their dogmatic expressions. What continues to baffle me is the hyprocrisy of living in and paying taxes to these same system and states in the guise of so called rights of freedom of speech accorded them. Come back home to the continent and fight the evil empire system face to face instead of through a computer screen locked up in a 40 square foot london apartment. If you can't do anyting to fix a problem stop blabbing about it and do something So much for courage! |
