For your interest, these are the people who run MTN
You need to post all the directors including the white ones to get a fair view please And by the way Nkelo doesn't really count as a South African, I think Dabengwo is Zimbabwean,You sure these execs apart from Ramphosa are local South African citizens. I am reading some issues concerning locals vs "foreigners" issues with MTN too I see the discrimination is |
The JOS Riots have widely reported here in SA. I first saw the story on News24 and then heard it over the Radio. If 200 people are killed, do you think the world would not know about it. I heard it over the Radia. I don't really know whats going on in day to day Nigeria. News that i get to know about them is when the local Radio or TV report about it. I don't have any source of news from Nigeria inside nigeria. Why the interest Morpheus? You seem to know more than a person who live here in SA. Its like first thing you do in the morning is to watch on the news what shappening in SA. If i may ask, do you have excess to E news on DSTV that side? if thats the case, 90% of their reporting is news from SA. I am just surprised about the interest. I guess there's lots of things in Nigeria to draw your attention. I have never seen Malema on CNN or BBC.
I already told you the reason for the interest but you are not listening, let me break it down to you like ' a six year old" If you had a bunch of investors who were trying to start up a business in your country and they needed a think tank group or organization to do the leg work in analyzing the country in and out who do you think they would come to? A guy who has knowledge of the particular country. A guy who sits down and gets all his info from E news and so on or A guy who has extreme knowledge of the continent itself in terms of business, politics and social issues. I'll leave the response to that question open ended, |
RSA:I don't think any one in those Shanties regardless of amenities would trade The feeling of self worth most Africans(Nigerians in particular) possess as oppossed to what SA blacks are still coming to grips with. That is more than a twenty year problem to solve. Morpheus says' For everything you get you must give up something" |
Then think before you write. Dont write nonsense.
Point to the nonsense and I will clarify incase you have a low IQ, |
Thanks man, men like you are needed more especially on this forum. We are here to promote Africa. If we don't do it ourselves who will do it for us. Steve Biko once said, "Black man, you are on your own" We are on our own in deed. Lets promote this continent of ours. South Africa used to have less than 1 millions tourists a year. Since they started promoting the country now they get 10 millions tourists every year. They have overtaken Egypt as Africa's No.1 tourist destination. Its a lot of work, you have to convince people that its worth it to come over to this beautiful continent. When we want to raise issues like this people start to talk about white people. Do you know how many white people are there in Africa? Lets not blame or credit every thing to white people. This is our continent, white people will come and go, they dont care about this continent but only care about its wealth, Oil and Minerals.
Biko also proclaimed. " I write what I like" So I am writing what I like too, ![]() |
RSA:Speak for your shanty towns in the cape and johanesburg. I am sure those people wouldn't mind a holiday inthe seychelles or in kenya where they aren't reminded that they are second class citizens, |
RSA:RSA Malema is a boistrous orator who's only skills lie in the ability to rally people through inciting sentimentality and emotional reactions. The ANC leadership understands this well and he is being used as a mouth piece. Malema understands this well and knows he can appeal to the the nature of the youth to gravitate towards these tendecies instead of being appealed to on their intellectual bases. Thats psychology 101. It is easier for you to insight a group of 20 something year olds to war that it is a group of 30 year olds. Thats why the white minority are all over him. Ther is power in shaping the minds of the next generation of black SA's To call that man intelligent is a gross mistatment. "Street smart" maybe, but intelligent, far from it. |
Hee RSA, i bet my botton dollar. This morpheus, what ever his name is, he's based hear in SA. I can put my head on the block, this guy is in South Africa. He knows every event that takes place here. Why does he have such an interest on South African issues, don't get me wrong, i am not saying its wrong to have an interest on a particular country. morpheus, you live in South Africa dont you ever disagree. Some one from Nigeria would not have some knowledge that you bring on this forum and your interest on the country matters. it shows that you are here and there are some issues that bothered you, which is not wrong. Then you are using this forum to vent your anger or something that you don't like. You must behave, otherwise we will deport you.
I am sorry my friend I do not live in your country. and don't need to hide that fact. I have been there a couple of times enough to know the local people and local politics but rest assured You would loose that bet if you made it. Apart from the intricate policies of the SA government and how it affects African politics as a whole not much more interests me about SA. What erks me the most is the inability of the most efficient democratic structure in Africa (i.e black majority) to manage several fundamental issues within the state and the gross psychological distance of the average SA in terms of solidarity with the continent. I have come to understand through my journeys that SA blacks are the most different of African species compared to others. In fact they are almost a mirror image of their counterparts(African Americans) in terms of mindset. In all my travels I have interacted with many a people in Africa both on a business and local level and it is without doubt that this phenomena is very evident in your nation. Through my journeys in trying to understand this psyche I have come to realize that there have been several factors leading to this mindset, much of which I don't really care to enumerate right now. What I have also come to reallize is that the black populous are generally "in denial of this status" and instead disguise their inadequacies in material gains while loosing their African essence as a whole. Why do I care?, well lets just say others see the world of Africa in Micro cognitive terms while I see them in Macro contexts, As for knowing about Julius Malema, well thats just a couple of clicks away on a mouse pad much like you do when it comes to information on Jos riots, |
Sweet advert, like th part where Messi is lost in the bushes, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sIigc2MDvQg&feature=related |
Nigeria beware of S Korea. They mean business, |
sley4life:come to think of it the Ivorians are way down on my list of African teams that may surprise at the world cup. The have a tough group and don't seem to be exhibiting any cohesion that is needed against the other group members. If the Nigeirans buckle up and are disciplined they really do stand a chance. |
RSA:Hey They are just trying to be like your boy Julius Malema. I really wonder how an illiterate of his caliber is able to afford houses in Sandton and drive expensive range rovers, RSA:Thats because they don't hang around your types unlike other Africans who believed once that some of you understood the brotherhood of Africans. We know better now, I can bet you my Worldcup tickets, The kidnapped SA will not be harmed Can you make the same bet that no African coming tothe world cup will be harrassed by locals, (don't think so) |
ITbomb:Because you believe man is a spiritual being(superstition) doesn't mean its true. What evidence do you have that animals don't have spirits as well. I mean isn't it a concensus that Dogs have much more heightened senses than humans and even see spirits at night(superstition) When superstition outweighs logic you have people makingup all kinds of weird assumptions, my dear |
Essh don't worry, As soon as they get some of the money Supersport has been embezzling and sending back to SA. They will be released unharmed. Unlike some of ya'll we aren't in the habit of roasting "foreigners" alive or killing people because they are "darker" than the average Saffer, Oh sorry I mean Nigerian, As far as WC is concerned. You guys do a nice job of scaring away potential tourists all on your own. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KxKf-Y25j-0 |
All the games yesterday regardless of if the opposing team were WC bound were Strategic matches except the Super eagles game. Only if you want to argue that they used this opportunity to try out Home based players will I accept, othersied why does Nigeria event always have to have K leg in it. Every other team WC boudn tema organized themselves qute well. PS I repead Nigeria are the only African team again with no Official Jersey to the WC and we have less than 100 days to go. Shame Shame!! |
i am watching germany vs argentina and from the looks of the the argentines are going to be tough |
philipinho:Thats not the reason why. The nFF was not going get good concessions fromthe game so they bowed out, |
davidylan:That was a typo, i meant algeria |
davidylan:Englang playing egypt in place of algeria(north african style football) Ghana playing Bosnia in place of serbia(baltic region style football) USA playing netherlands in place of England(northern european style football) korea playing ivory coast in place of Nigeria (West african style football) need I go on, |
The stupidest thing about todays friendlys is that all other teams used this opportunity to test out the playing style of their opponents in terms of football region while our SE went to play Congo who have no relevance in preparing us for the WC |
rickie4us:http://atdhe.net/ |
O boy too many games today. Don't know which one to concentrate on |
ow11:Relax this na try out for super eagles shirt na |
